Unfortunately this comes back to the 'I could shoot someone in Times Square and get away with it (sic)' comment.

The spineless Republican Senators are more concerned about their pork and mid-term elections than they are about responsibility and indicting someone who created the grounds for an  invasion of the Capitol resulting in 5 deaths on the day(and at least one connected suicide). Look how quickly Graham flip-flopped. McConnell now engaging in doublespeak as well.

Is Trump guilty? Yes-its as clear as the nose on your face.

Will Trump get away with it? Yes- because spineless people care more about their vested interests than 'democracy' and 'justice'.

The Republicans are clearly more concerned about their own political future and keeping their snouts in the trough than censuring a man responsible for at least 5 deaths on Capitol Hill, including 2 law enforcement officers (one killed, one suicide).

Graham and McConnell are bottom feeding hypocrites- clear examples of why there should be term limits for Senators. Trump incited insurrection and needs to be  punished. 

Personally I'm convinced Trump lied about having COVID as well as every other lie he told. If he did it was the biggliest bestead most mega-tastic  quickliest recovery in history, (In his mind).

Am I missing something? I was under the impression that oil was already pushed down through the existing Keystone pipeline and this is just an extra pipeline to straighten out some of the kinks. Seems to be much ado about nothing.

His mumbling bumbling speech at Andrews was just embarrassing. Yet again he managed to lie, specifically about Veterans and Space Force. I see, as predicted the biggliest, bestest, greatest most awesome flyover didn't happen and the 21 gun salute was pretty ragged.

Interesting that the Press didn't pan across to those seeing him off- I reckon  there were probably about 20. Very prominent people, including Pence did the right thing and snubbed him.

Interesting all the negative comments from people who have clearly never used this bus. Prior to Covid it was building up a steady stream of customers, locals as well as tourists. It was the only continuous West Coast bus service. Some commentators were almost disappointed that the drivers weren't beaten up and the buses torched ( as happened to ONE bus many, many years ago).

They decided to test the waters again with a reduced schedule just over a month ago. Then the second wave hit and it is clearly not viable to continue at present. The 'local' passengers were workers who now have no jobs and have gone home so this wiped out any residual custom.

Mock it if you will but it was one of the few transport successes in Phuket and if/when things improve I personally wish them the best of luck in resuming this service.

I'm willing to be the biggliest gun  salute and flyover will not happen. Typical of his arrogance- trying to usurp Biden's inauguration with his own little parade at Andrews. Best thing the press could do is stay away- that would really urinate on his ego and complete the humiliation.

At  an(alleged) up to USD 2m a pardon that's a nice little final earner for the grifter.
