I'd bet this corporation has made the most profit over the past 6 years of the regime. There is a new movement online starting to boycott the businesses that have supported the regimes like Prayuth's that crush democracy. CP must be at the top of that list. This act by him is just a react to his company not being well-liked because of its politically connections. I wonder would Dhanin Chearavanont think of being a PM for the group controlling the regime as well?

Seriously though, I'm puzzled why Thais would "snitch" on an elderly old fart who was minding his own business? I mean, if I wanted to, I too could theorize about the activities of my Thai neighbors but I don't judge - why should I care whether they stay in their house all day long? As long as they are quiet and decent people who mind their own business, there is no reason to do anything. Just let each other be.
I'm sure there is someone who might want the house and property. If the house is in his wife's name, the man would have problems getting ownership of it and the land. Thailand's full of abuse and corruption.

In democratic countries his marriage would entitle him for a permanent settlement visa or even citizenship. This is a human right by the way. But TH is a banana republic, such a backward nation that not even respects basic human rights. Call it a failed state. Dictatorships will never thrive.True. It's also true that most Thais really don't care about foreigners rights, especially those who get the right to residence or citizenship in other countries. It's not just regime; it's Thais. In other nations, human rights is important and foreigners exploit that. The laws protecting human rights make sense but it is annoying to many people especially with foreigners breaking laws. Foreigners in the west call the people racists who don't like their law breaking. In Thailand, the racism and xenophobia is written into law and that lets the people off the hook. Thais don't have to complain about foreigners because their government does the work. Thais look like they are outside the issue because they can just blame the government. But in fact, educated Thais know the deal. They are racists who never open their mouths pleased that their government takes the blame.

Interesting one day prediction.
You can see the satellite and rain radar on the following Thai Meteorological Department website. Click 'Home' and you get a dropdown menu and on the right you'll see the buttons.

They should hold a Covid-19 Convention. That'll bring them in.

They used to have 5 and 10 baht bars in some of the small shops which were bars rather than cups like in the pic someone posted.

I wouldn't want anyone offering goo to me down there.

Most Thais don't have a problem with westerners but there are some who do. When you meet one of these, you will know it even if they say nothing. These people are the ones who are not only brainwashed; they are ones who will beat other Thais in the street to make them pay respect to their beliefs. They won't change easily. They are disturbed often wicked souls.

What's wrong with these crazies who do things like this? Well, prison will be a hell and heaven to deal with this reality.

And back in the fifties, there were probably still a few groups of canibals around the world feasting on the occasion lost tourists.

It may have been cooler in the areas outside of the metropolis this year but I didn't get a chance to enjoy that. For me its been a dusty winter which now looks to be followed by a hot hot summer hopefully without the dust! I sure hope the rains pop up. With the shifting winds that may be possible, who knows.

There are lots of stories about this man and this regime. It all just sickens me. I mean really sickens me. I don't take it as legitimate or something no threatening. The abuse has already happened. This is just like one of those Thai soap operas where a rape occurs and the victim marries the rapist. The Thai nation is the victim. You know who Prayuth and his appointees are.

Not just inside Bangkok, out in the suburbs. There's so much dust, the streetlights at night often have a cone of glow similar to that in winter with a snowfall.

What timing. What politics! What about the queue for the BTS skytrain every rush hour, movie theatres, markets that pop up, chatuchak market, immigration offices, temple events, food courts, etc? This statement represents another example of the regime and cronies efforts at political abuse!

In Thailand everything is potentially illegal and will be used against you in a court of law. So, news like this just adds more confusion. I can't trust a word from Thai governments and this particular period in Thailand's history is a worst for truth.

Come on baby, take it all off! Go Warren! He must bare the truth. Trump through his cowardice to face facts and reveal information has confirmed he is a sexual predator, tax cheat and compulsive liar. Bloomberg can't play that hand. Let's here the truth.

All these stories and clips on the Internet are worrying. What is the truth with this especially on China. They really seem to be abusing people there to get them under control if the videos are real. And what's with the dead bodies on the sides of the road and vids of people dropping dead after normally going about their day. Why also is it that western websites and media like Yahoo and the rest have almost zero news of this. There seems to be a big gap between media in unaffected places and what is happening in China. I saw a clip on Twitter from Feb 14 with a BBC interview of some expert who thought potentially 60% of the world would be infected in 12 months if things continue as normal with this virus as other viruses have spread.

I noticed Big C had some stuff for this situation at the cashier. They put out handwash, three types of masks for 2.5 with two in a pack at 23 baht each. They also had masks in the house cleaning area. I was also at Mega and you could buy masks used in construction there as well as some typical paper masks that most people seem to be wearing. They had huge packs of cheap cloth masks probably holding 500 masks for 490 baht. They were at the cashier. This is in Rangsit/Navanakorn area.

It interesting how Thai people get ideas and inspiration, and how ignorant they are to local and the world's news.

The army should have figured out after the armory thefts down in the South in relation to the insurgency that this was an issue. What were they thinking? They don't seem to believe that a deranged Thai might try to get weapons or soldiers might want to try to sell them for profit.
Looking at this event on a different line, this shooting just goes to show that the Southern problem is not about international terrorism. It's a local issue. What the Korat shooter has done could have been done anywhere in the country easily. The insurgents in the south have never left their home lands. Their issue is local about their land and way of life.

Is this an advertisement? Why only the school for the rich? How about the head of the school down the block?

I don't watch these types of shows. So the Oscars is for films all around the world? That can't be true. Is this just Hollywood trying to play social justice warrior by bringing in a few outsiders? Americans vote who wins isn't international when there are billions of other people in the world.

I think you are saying he should do it the right way, the yellowshirt way, the Thai way. Find a general, have a coup and then have his honorable soldiers threaten or shoot anyone who protests like the people in power always do. The red shirts by the way aren't the ones killing. They may destroy property. The current leaders were involved in the deaths of 90-100 Thais in 2010. Don't try to rewrite facts.
