Five pages and no details? I remember something about him and Prawit being connected and something about corruption in Esarn. What's the connection. Any links to those stories. What is the hashtag to look for under twitter to the chat on this?

Just think of how poor the air quality around the BKK area would be if the economy were in a good state. Everyone says things are bad but all I see is traffic, construction and pollution

In western countries, anyone can create an organization to help illegals but can that be done in Thailand?
Here are some organizations helping illegals in California.
https://www.immigrationadvocates.org/nonprofit/legaldirectory/search?state=CA
I read somewhere but can't remember the source now that there are supposed to be 150,000 Thai overstayers in the US. Robin Hoods is a Thai saying because so so many Thai overstayed in other nations in the past and that hasn't really stopped.
Thailand's laws are xenophobic and racist. You can also see this in the double-pricing and the national parks etc. It's hard to say Trump is so bad considering what the Thai government and its people do at times.
Personally, I support the crackdown in the US. I'd like to see all the Thai and other overstayers and a lot of the DACA kicked out. If that happens I can support Thailand more but until then, Thailand is the abuser. Americans react to Trump trying to keep Thais out but Thais don't give a hoot about people like this American guy and all the others, many who have lived her for a long long time, who face all sorts of hassles due to the xenophobic laws.
With that said, go do your 90 day renewal for the 20th time.

49 minutes ago, Matzzon said:Seems like a not so clever father .If he have trouble and kill himself, so be it. He should have had the respect to let eachother family member decide themself between life or death. Maybe the daughters would still have loved him even without a university degree and a poor father.
I think the problem is family members don't realize the stress put on the person working in the family. A lot of older children in high school and university and even older think that money grows on trees. Those with kind hearts often do everything for those around them trying to give them the modern life. University is expensive and no matter where a kid goes, he'll see other kids with things or doing things that he wants to do. The kids will ask for more and more from their parents. I've asked students and many of them will lie to get the money for that Ipad which all the other kids are starting to use in class and they'll lie for money to go on a trip with their friends on the weekend. Between the costs of education, housing, food and then all the other demands it destroys a lot of people like this man.
First he was a victim of his own kindness, second probably a victim of his wife and kids who couldn't imagine working to help him, and also a victim of Thai society which thinks the wife and kids shouldn't have to work. He was doomed. He went over the edge with no out. A lot of people live responsible lives and are kind to everyone, only to eventually break. You can scold him but he was not an evil soul. Evil souls spend their lives in greed, apathy, abuse or worse.
I feel for this guy because my life is just like his. I have the wife and two step-daughters, one graduated and doing little with her life, and another in university. My wife won't work and doesn't feel my pain. At the end of the month I have no money, and I have another daughter in her teens to pay for. I have no future really. I won't break like him but I am ready to dump the whole family and Thai culture. There are a lot of people like him and I out here trying to get by. It's hopeless. My advice to anyone is to stay single and don't have kids. Those in a relationship with a lazy partner who can, jump ship and find a new life before its too late.

I'd like to see the next anti-regime flash mob actually go for the world-record for the largest number of people to ever moon a leader. Prayuth and his cohorts deserve it.

I'd like to see Trump go. There are plenty of Republicans who could still win with the core issues that were always there prior to Trump. If he gets kicked out, he could still run again sometime. The Dems have a lot of bright minds among their candidates. The next election and the political debates going up to it will be the most watched TV ever in US history especially if Trump is there to take a beating and defend his idiocy with more idiotic off-the-cuff remarks. 2020 is also going to be like its name: a year of clarity. Every topic will be open game and there should be a lot of red faces and a lot of truths about the US discussed. We are in a new age for the US.

So what does this mean to the average person? Can we buy it? Grow it? Put a couple leaves in a tea at work on a stressful day? Strangely, Kratom use has been booming in the US it seems from all the media I've seen. Thailand seems to be following or reacting to the US with all of its drug moves lately.

Sounds like a great way to get people to buy new appliances. Will they recycle the materials or just dump them somewhere then hold a big green party for themselves. Maybe they have a buyer in Africa for them which probably isn't a solution. Whatever it is in the end, I put my bet on no real green solution here. Thais are still learning what doing good for the environment is from all I've seen around.

There are three Thai groups in my view and farangs also fit into these three groups:
1) The fascists and their supporters. This groups are the devout royalists, military, a large amount of civil servants, business people and people who believe in crushing voices to keep things unchanged. Farangs in this group don't really care about change in Thailand. They are partnered with fascist Thais probably connected in some way to the civil service or other institutions through marriage or business.
2)Those who openly want democracy, free speech and human rights. These are the human rights protestors, people who post about human rights and participate in ways they can, and it includes some political groups who don't partner up with the fascist political groups. Farangs in this group talk a lot about human rights in conversation and try to inform others of Thailand's state through social media or directly to the people to encounter in everyday life and work. They don't hide their values to protect their friendships with Thais in the other groups or to protect their opportunities.
3)The masses who are apathetic or quiet and cowardly. This group is the largest group full of people who don't want to think about things, have given up, don't care, or are willing to put their values aside for a peaceful threatless life. This will do what the fascists make them do. They'll participate in regime activities without much thought or out of fear of problems. The foreigners in this group will ignore their western values to protect their happy lives and opportunities in Thailand. They won't post anything that might cause their Thai fascist friends to rethink their view of them. Thais and foreigners in this group shut up about some of the values they may hold for personal opportunity.
All the groups are mixed with wealthy and poor, urban and rural.

I think some of you are too hard on him considering what he's trying to do. I followed the suggested search someone posted earlier and there are a lot of videos online. He seems like a devoted soul.

Getting a divorce is pretty much not much different than having a second wife in my view. When you find the woman you are with was a waste of time, you can divorce her or just do what you want with her there. Thai women and Thai people are often subservient. They are willing to worship evil people so a husband who has sex on the side or even has known girlfriend isn't a big deal. Do what you want and can. Enjoy life. If you can't keep the first one because its a lemon or acts up, dump it. Sorry but it is true that most Thais mindlessly worship wealth, power and the privileged. There really is not right or wrong in Thailand unless you break the highest laws.

The Army and rest of the military are there to protect the nation from foreign invaders yet Apirat and many general like him approve of taking over the Thai government continually. They are the ones with the continual crisis. They are the ones who constantly are proven to use lies to abuse the nation. He's a pathetic man for a 'general'.

Why was he released? Did he wave a yellow flag and have the right family name? Was his prison guard afraid of him? Nuts.

Three more things, tell the people in the picture they are all apathetic and guilty in the girl's death, put the owner of the dog in jail, and toss the grandma in jail too.

Anything that mentions the environment is better than nothing. On a side note, I hope she didn't pay for that nose.

I thought this already went to the Senate. Will Schiff, Pelosi and southern right wingers like Gohmert and Collins be out of the picture soon? Getting rid of Trump would be good for the US. Trump could run again right away anyway or another Republican could replace him. The next election won't be easy with or without Trump. Any Republican taking over would still be interested in the same issues as Trump. So there would be a shake up of faces but possibly not much change coming from the right.

The lives of the rich. Just toss some money there and a how about some there. And it's another place for the rich!

That sanitary pad story is begin discussed on TV. Once the fake news is out there, others post the story again as questionable news or fake news and continue the idea. There's endless fake political news all around the globe. Some people create it as a joke and others with intentions. But there is also true news that should be discussed but it made illegal by tyrants and abusive regimes. So the truth is, they want to ban fake news but they also want to ban the truth. We should just ban human thought. It's like they are tyring to make us zombies. Sadly, many are already zombies. I don't mean that literally. That isn't a fake sentence. I mean people don't think about things enough. There are no zombies. Oh. news is made of sentences. How many sentences does it take to make something fake? Or words? ☹️

Maybe the Indian has a deal to build on a certain Thais land with the plan to close down most of Pattaya's other nightlife turning it more into something like Bangkok with the dirty stuff in certain streets, not everywhere like it has been in Pattaya. The farang dinosaurs are dying off and the younger Millennials don't seem to want or need to travel the world for 'exotic excitement'. The regime and many others want to clean up and improve Pattaya making it more of a place for all people. Moreover, Thais have become more educated so they don't want to stand at a bar waiting in the hopes that some rich guy will shower them with money or marry them. Young women these days contact men directly through the Internet cutting out the need to go to certain places to meet foreigners. Those who do work in the entertainment places in Pattaya will want more money which will reduce the number of businesses which is exactly where Pattaya is going. This isn't 1990s anymore. Thailand just isn't the same. The world is much more accessible to Thais. THat's how I see it anyways.

Elite card makes you a notch higher than a lowly farang with a visa. You still are a guest forever especially if you are Caucasian. Meanwhile, Thais go to you country stay for two or more years and have all the rights a local has. Thailand has always had racist, xenophobic laws.

Pattaya: Thai maid savaged by Rottweilers in shop - is this breed really gentle and loving?
in Pattaya News
Posted
People who defend this breed are accomplices in the continued injuries and deaths caused by it. There's no need for this breed. Breed's are a creation on man and with that there is no reason to continue those which are doing things like this.
