I have seen them as low as 15BT a kilo at the moment, perhaps a glut, or not enough buyers.... Usually around the 50BT mark...
-
I think it's the luck of the draw... I have got things quicker form O/seas than BKK !!

Hopefully they leave the shade up at the intersections ????

Easy.
Have you ever watched the soaps here ? Bashing, slapping, shooting and all things abuse clearly on display each day. They mimic what they see.
Not saying Aussie birds are different, but I have not come across one, I have here on one occasion...

If only people would take the time to glance right and left whilst starting off when the lights change to green then so many of these accidents could be avoided. Everyone knows that people run red lights here but it is still in your own hands to avoid such incidents.
Yes, a green light does not mean go, but proceed with caution. More important here in Thailand.

Hey Guys,
Looking to hook up with with like minded people for some motorbike touring around Patts and further.
Clearly it is a bit harder at the moment with the restrictions and "non" essential travel but I have managed to get out and about avoiding the obvious checkpoints and main towns. There are some very nice roads on the darkside that I am still working out
My Wife usually comes with as she enjoys the biking lifestyle after I introduced it to her in Australia on my Yamaha FJR 1300. Over here we have a Honda CB500X 2016 model that we just got a few weeks ago and getting it ready for longer trips when the opportunity arises.
If you would like to catch up for a chat and ride give me a yell. BTW, we live on the darkside !

just for my info what difference does it make what room type it is? ie bedroom / living room / dungeon etc?
my living room is approx 60sqm, i have a 18K BTU unit at each end but i feel it's not enough with both on at this time of year.
Thoughts?
The trouble over here is the lack of insulation in the ceilings and walls...... Our study gets the Eastern Sun all day, you could nearly fry an egg on it !
Someone mentioned polyurethane as insulation, be very careful with that, very flammable...... -

So this is on top of the heavily tattooed Brit guy who tossed the gal off the condo balcony?
Yes sadly.
Domestic violence is nothing new, it's rife in Australia. With the added stress of losing jobs, having no money etc it is going through the roof...

As long as you have genuine common sense, never mind anyones rules or regulations, if you want to break any unfair law, just weigh it up, think about the penalty if caught, and the chances of getting caught.
I have lived this way all my adult life and have no criminal record whatsoever.
Agreed.
Sadly there is a severe lack of common sense these days, in fact for years....

Please Note :
I am paying for HD in Thailand, but with so many people using it, the buffering got ridiculous.... Changed to SD and works fine, I believe you get the option to pay for either HD or SD, don't waste your money during this virus ????

Great outcome

The blue tanks are not necessarily opaque to UV and you'll get a lovely green growth going on, the heavier ones are (at least theoretically) opaque to UV and shouldn't get green, it's still wise to circulate the water mind (use some and let it re-fill).
This is exactly what has happened to our blue tank.. We are use it for washing, showers etc ....
How do you clean it ? I am a city boy, never had to worry about such things before ????

Can I come down the railway line road, then Soi Siam CC road towards Sukhumvit? My aim is to go the the end and go right at the lights (onto Suk Northbound), or left and then the U-Turn, again to get on Suk Northbound? (Or better to cut through and pop out between Bangkok Bank and Numchai?).
Yes you can, but you have to head south before you can do a uturn and head back north.... just the usual ????

If you want to pull out more than a 1000 a day then you will need to contact your bank.
I have never been able to get the 30,000 Baht some ATMs advertise, though I can pull 2 x 20,000 but that comes with extra fees of course, unless like me you have an ING account and all costs are refunded.

Mate,
You can get 'refillable' printers now, I have a Brother DCP-T500W, all in one colour printer/scanner. Fantastic. As long as you leave the power on it will cycle through maybe once a day to ensure the ink does not dry out and block. Have had mine for a couple fo years now with long stints not using whilst back home and never misses a beat.

Well...
We are still in bill shock.... We average 1800-2000 baht a month, yesterday our bill was 6300 BAHT !!!
Yes things are different. We have gone from 2 to 6 people during this virus. We have aircon going in the study during the day and 2 bedroom aircons going at night... The only difference is the second aircon of a night... So either it is a piece of <deleted> (we did not use it before) or someone is taking the <deleted>....
My Mrs is so angry she was telling anyone who would listen in our village last night, even the shop with all it;s fridges only got to 4K Baht.....
I suggested the kids may have to have fans... oops, that was not the thing to say apparently ????

If you go to the Aus Embassy site the Ambassador (who has been doing a great job) announced not all seats had been filled and there would be no guarantee another flight would be in the offering anytime soon.

Hey all,
I am chasing 650 (1000) Suzuki Vstrom or the Kawasaki Versys 650.
No idea when I will get to go back home, so figured it's time to explore over here once the sanctions are lifted
Would also consider a Yamaha FJR 1300, which I have back in Aus.
Thanks

What amazes me is the humongous canopies they were able to put up in days.....The cost of the canopies had to have been huge....A massive effort for the most just to take someones temperature? and maybe a bit of paper work...
There has to be more to this limp noodle lockdown roadshow......
I hope they keep them past this mess.... Gets very hot sitting there awaiting the light change ????

I am no expert in anything... But it seems the cure is going to be far worse than disease.... All this lock down is just a delay tactic.... We can't continue like this and a cure, if available will come too late for any of us..... Those of us lucky enough to still receive a pension etc will only be getting it for a limited time, no people working, no taxes, they can only print so much money...

What’s next for (some of) us?

Too many assumptions.
What makes you think there would be flights to your home country ?
Too many unknowns at this time. True tourists I suspect have already gone home before they ran out of money.... The others will have to wait and see I guess....
