I know of a few who were in cheaper quarantine than Mr. 'R' and it was not nice.  Food was almost always cold and very small portions (not allowed to order in from outside). A couple of very boring and time-wasting weeks to say the least.  

No doubt there will be some meat and two veg packed into some of the bikinis.

Very, very lenient...in fact - ridiculous sentence.  He will probably not do a single day in jail.

Obviously we all have different ideas of 'clear' water...but with the lack of tourists comes a lack of "stuff" finding its way into the sea.

Didn't we see plans a few months ago to totally revamp that area?  This would be a good time as it would create many jobs...

Interesting stuff alcohol...I know people who - after a few drinks -

...always get loud (most)
...always get angry (quite a few)
...always get violent (only a couple)
...always get sleepy (many)
...always get argumentative (many)
the different effects on people is quite entertaining really - even more so when they mix their drinks, like have a few beers and then some wine, or after enough beer or wine and go on to the shorts. 

Was it really puss?  Maybe they were just being creative with a filling - like a certain type of pork pie with the egg in the middle.  Anyway, the pork in the pictures is definitely not cooked.

The whole thing is a bad situation really, and i don't know which is worse - the girls who end up on the game, or the people who come here just for sex (sad).  Always found it interesting when co workers turned up with new 'girlfriends' saying, "she is not a bar girl".  Then when she starts talking - BANG - the low standard of Thai language says something else.  Then of course then they are often on their phones to other 'boyfriends' at the same time...interesting.  

If that happened here there would be another couple of million out of work.

Well, that's still not a good enough reason to want to go there anyway.

Really?  Many of the cars are in an awful state and really stink inside...sometimes we have to let a few go before we get a good one.  Maybe they should also look at re-testing the drivers (if in fact they ever took a test) and lowering the age of the people allowed to drive taxis too - I have seen some behind the wheel who should certainly not be in that position (too old, trouble seeing, driving dangerously with no concern for the safety of the passengers, not having any idea of the highway code etc. etc. etc.). 

This country really needs to sort out all things insurance wise.  How many stories have we seen of tourists in accidents - with no insurance...hundreds over the years.  I even know of people working here who have no insurance (some companies stop offering insurance when people reach 60 years of age).

Simple solution to this one...don't park there.
