Can you define the duties for your maid?
How many hours per day?
How many days per week?
Paid leave or un paid leave
How much do you expect to pay?
Seriously, how long did it take you to think that up and then type it out? Whatever it was, it was a waste of time and effort, because it wasn't funny at all. That is unless you are applying for the job, in that case I will need to see your CV and three references. After I receive that information I will get in touch with you if I want to interview you.

Didn't you just write in another post, that you have a new girlfriend? ????
Seriously, you think I am going to ask one of my girlfriends to clean up? That's one of the reasons they are my girlfriends, they have maids to clean up after them.

I am tired of lazy maids like the 2 I use now. They got to go. If anyone could recommend a good maid that gets the job done who is nice and of course, very honest I would appreciate your recommendation if she lives in the Pratumnak Hill area in Jomtein. And if she speaks a few words of English, that would be great because my Thai is terrible no matter how much I try. Thanks in advance.

....new girlfriend need to be vaccinated.
What happened to old girlfriend?
Well, I have 6 of them and as a good boyfriend I want to make sure they are all as healthy as possible. And before it starts, 5 of them don't live in Pattaya and I bring them in on a weekend rotation. Of course, it does not take too long before they figure out the deal and jump ship, so I need to constantly resupply my provisions.

This is one of those instances where Thai people know better how to work their system than foreigners ever will.
If she can't figure out how to get herself vaccinated (with input from her Thai acquaintances), I doubt that getting a foreigner involved is going to help, other than funding.
Now that I know where to go I am going to take her ass there and get it done.

My wife who is Thai along with my sister-in-law with no appoint walked into Pattaya City hospital for the vaccine. My wife got her first shot of sinovax that day sister-in-law got an appointment for the next day. The second shot which they both got last week was Astrazeneca.
That is awesome news! Thanks Bro

We were doing some shopping in Central Festival Pattaya a few weeks back. As it happens they were doing vaccinations on the 6th Floor. My tgf just walked up with no appointment and got her first jab, Sinovac.
That is great news. If it is a long wait at the hospital I will try this out, maybe I should do that first. Thanks Bro

Wrong, wrong, wrong you really, but really need health insurance if you want to live here no matter what your age and I speak from personal experience. When you get sick, your brain does not work anywhere close to it would if you were not sick and you make bad decisions when you are under a tremendous amount of stress, especially when there is big money is involved.
Besides all of the other benefits health insurance supplies, it also makes the decision making process very easy when you are at your most vulnerable, you just follow the doctors recommendations and don't worry about the money. And Thailand private hospitals, for the most part are excellent.
The US health care system is the most expensive in the world, which of course is terrible. But, I have noticed one benefit when compared to my friends from counties that have free health care, which is I am used to paying for health insurance and consider it a necessary evil, or a must have no matter what the cost. My friends from free countries will insure their cars, but not themselves and I just do not understand that way of thinking.

I never had a problem on WS in 20 years no matter how drunk I got. Then again I am a nice guy who NEVER goes looking for problems and I apologize if something happens even if it was not my fault. Thailand is no place to try and be a man, it just easier and much safer to apologize and get out of there.

If only happening with inclement weather, I'd suspect old transformers c r a pping out (getting wet / shorting out), or wires down because of wind, either directly or tree branches taking them out.
Had that problem living rural outside Udon Thani. Good news, as it happens more & more, the replacement/repairs eventually are upgrading the system, and will happen less & less as time goes on.
Simply report the outages ASAP, and they'll sort the problem and fix asap. I find the locals don't report outages as much. My wife use to report outages due to brown outs, and within 15 mins, power was restored. Sad for the other village that probably got turn off for our benefit. But if she didn't call, the power would be off for hours. I can just image the 'receptionist' taking her calls .... " oh cr ap, it's her again" ????
Good info and funny

Try Pattaya City hospital on Soi Buakhao. Get your lady to call them first or just drop by if it is local for you. She will get an appointment for a later date. Good luck.
Thanks Bro

Any vaccine is better than no vaccine according to the doctors that specialize in contagious diseases. So if anyone knows where she can get Sinovac that would be appreciated.

My new girlfriend who is 28 years old would like to get vaccinated in or around Pattaya. Preferable at someplace where she could just walk in without an appointment so we can get this done ASAP. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don't bother in a upcountry bank. Also avoid the small bank branches in shopping malls.
Great advice. Only look around the tourist areas, they are used to dealing with foreigners. Since you are new here, all these branches make up their own rules based on who the manager is. Just because it is a rule that must be followed at one branch, it certainly does not mean another branch won't totally ignore that rule.

View Talay 1 management is one of the best that i have met in Thailand.
This is one of the reason I think it's better to buy older condos where the management is good, because you never know what will happen in a new building and how the building will do after years.
VT 1 is of of the best deal at Pattaya Jomtien and for only 6000 thb fee a year, it's impressive,
(also the material used to build at VT 1 and 2 are better than material used to build new cheap condos...)
I used to live in VT1 and I certainly don't agree with you. I was there when they took over which tells you how long ago I lived there. I literately had to call the police on the management company. The condo above bathroom all of sudden starting leaking right on my water heater. Who ever owned it hadn't been there for years and management would not open the door to fix the leak. They would of rather the whole building burn down because of a electrical fire.

I am like you, and I needed glasses only for the computer. I went to the optometrist at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and he did the usual tests. After that, he had move my head and eyes to a position where I would normally look at the computer screen. The glasses work great and I have had them for 5 years. I use my regular glasses for everything else, but they aren't nearly as good as my computer glasses when it comes to looking at the screen.

He has his own company and has installed over 50 AC for me when I was renovating condos. He comes in with 5 guys, takes the old one out, puts the new one, and is done in 2 to 3 hours. I don't have his card, but I have his number and I put here.

Heading north on soi buakhao from S Pattaya road turn right on Lengkee. at 7-11, opposite corner Subway, Joes is down about 150m on the left. You pass LK metro you've gone too far. Off of #2 go down 13, Soi Diane, new tower Edge on south corner. Cross buakhao it becomes Lengkee. Easy here, lived years in Costa Rica and dealt with directions like go 300m to where the brown dog lives then right 50m then up a hill.

Thanks, I can get there now.

consciousness of my surroundings
I have never been robed in my entire life. That could possibly be because I avoid dangerous places, consciousness of my surroundings at all times, and always remember that safety always comes first, before everything.
