  1. Call him he will fix it guaranteed 081-344-9052
  2. I wish you could explain how to get there if you are driving in a car. Plus, I and most people won't know the names for the Soi's. You could say it is just after Soi 10 or something like that.
  3. Call her, she is a private taxi and might drive you there. I use her every-time I leave Pattaya and she is very dependable and knows where she is going, especially in Bangkok. Her number is 087-495-7995.
  4. A couple of people have suggested I try and find him and see how he is doing. I did not think about that, but I think it is a good idea because he was in shock holding his ribs moaning in pain while he was riding in the car. He was a foreigner by the way and after I got him out of the drain I held him upright for 5 minutes or so and he told me he left his motorbike because the roads were too flooded and decided to walk instead. When he said this, I knew old age was starting to kick in and he was definitely not thinking correctly. There is a problem though, I really don’t know where I dropped him off at. If you are coming from Pattaya to Jomtien on second road I will need to take a left at all of those little Soi’s till I find the small hotel where I left him, and I do remember what it looked like. So, I should be able to find it with a little work.
  5. I was driving from Jomtien to Pattaya on second road to get something to eat and when I started going into Pattaya after the rains this afternoon the road was flooded. Luckily, I was able to turn right back under the overpass and head back to Jomitien. Right after I make the turn in front of the little hotel on the left hand side of the road I spot a man 75 years old or so walking in the rain out of the corner of my eye. I think to myself, why is this guy walking in such a hard rain and then he drops instantly 5 feet into an open water drain for the city's water drainage. I park the car, wad through the water, and help pull him out. The water was above his waist and he was holding his arms almost straight up and he did a lot of the work getting himself out. I looked around, and saw a 1 meter by 1 meter drain cover that was about 4” thick with concrete that had been moved. I have no idea if the water was strong enough to move it, or if it was moved by a person. I put him in the car and his ribs were killing him, I thought they were broken. But, I could not convince him to go to the hospital and I dropped him off at his hotel room. He was in shock as you might expect, what a terrible experience for anybody. WOW, Unreal!
