OK so here's how it played out.... I withdrew 100thb and updated SCB Savings Bank book on the weekend and photo copied. Went to SCB 9am Monday, got the letter and statement that MATCHED the above final balance in the account. Immigration at 10.30am. My ONLY document error ! I was told to go take 100thb out, update bank book and photocopy. ie "They like to see the money has not been removed from the account today".....

Gents, I guess I should know this also by now ! On the TM.8, top of 2nd Page on my forms, it says : My previous Visa for Thailand is of the Category" Issue at __________ Date Month Year_________ Now are they talking about my Original Visa from 10 years ago which I've renewed each year OR My last renewal /Extension of stay No biggie I guess I just wanna get my forms right as this is my 3rd trip to Immigration for this current process/renewal ! I really really should know this by now but just wanted to check. Will go to Immigration on Tuesday after I go to SCB for Letter of balance and printed statement, Should I maybe withdraw 100thb on the day or the day before hand so the Bank book (savings) account is correctly updated? I remember a couple of years ago they couldn't print off til the afternoon to match figures, but maybe that was Bangkok Bank not SCB... Cheers BBK ! Ps Phuket branches I'm talking about ....

Quick Update : Went as planned to get a 60 day extension today, needed 2 copies of "everything" except financials. Told to come back after lunch. After lunch told 60 day extension not allowed and only 30 day Covid extensions granted. 30 day extensions would not be granted a re-entry permit which is a pain has have flights to UK end August. So I'm back next week for a full 1 year extension and then they can grant me a re-entry permit ! Cheers !

Just FYI in Phuket last month cost me 40k for outpatient and 13k for Pathology.... So looks good pricing to me !

Agree 1000% with Cheryl, go ASAP. Checking it out will cost peanuts.... If Melanoma quite it will cost quite a bit more but better than the alternative !

My Extension of stay is in August (each year for the past 10 years or so). I'm on a Custodian Extension, used to be Retirement. But some years it's tricky cos I like to go back to the UK for 2 months in for July/August Now I know can apply 30 days in advance which doesnt really help so I guess my question is can I change the renewal date to sometime not in July/August each year? I'm thinking the answers NO, go get a new Non-Imm Visa when back in UK during the last week or so and Convert after say 3 months or some period.... If so does that involve a trip to KL or Singapore too ? Cheers, BBJ...
