  1. It is available on login.gov, but I do not have a US telephone number.

  3. It is a recording. "thank you for attempting to callback pertaining to your voice one time code request. If you did not initiate a code request please contact your bank immediately."
  4. I should have been clearer. I had been using DS Logon since early 2024 when the Tricare Overseas Portal directed me there. Everything was fine until mid-May, when MFA stopped sending me a text PIN. I have never been locked out—the system always indicated that a PIN had been sent, but I never received one. Selecting the phone option resulted in a recorded message to the AIS number but no PIN, so I assume the number is correct. I attempted to access TOP directly some time ago but received the 'Sorry Charlie' message. I use ID.me for VA access and connect directly to myPay at DFAS, so I won’t miss DS Logon. It sounds like I should go for MyAuth. Thanks
  5. I never quite understood how that dynamic came to be. Donald Trump is a teetotaler, abstaining from alcohol and drugs, while Elon Musk has been open about his frequent use of substances like psychedelics and marijuana. Yet, despite their stark personal differences, they have found themselves aligned in various political and social arenas. It’s a fascinating example of how politics creates unexpected alliances and brings together individuals who might otherwise have little in common. As the saying goes, politics truly makes strange bedfellows.
  6. You have confirmed my suspicion that DS Logon is broken and does not work with my local AIS phone number. DMDC tech support was quite clueless, but they finally allowed my daughter's US number, enabling me to access the Tricare Overseas Portal. It's a bit inconvenient, but I don't need it often. Considering all the current upheaval, I am reluctant to attempt transitioning to the MyAuth protocol now that I have access via DS Logon. Anyway, many thanks for your response.
  7. Sounds like the setup for a great new reality tv show. How about "Handcuffs & High Heels"
  8. I am a retired U.S. service member. For the past two weeks, I have been unable to access DMDC websites. The DS Logon system uses multi-factor authentication (MFA) and typically sends a PIN code to my phone. However, I am not receiving the code on my AIS phone. Are other DMDC site users experiencing similar issues? Is the system still functioning for anyone?
  9. Mostly agree. Except for the longer duration experienced by some patients. https://www.news-medical.net/news/20240206/How-is-long-COVID-different-from-other-post-viral-infection-syndromes.aspx
  10. I have heard about Long Covid, never Long Flu...
  11. Please get the new COVID-19 booster-not for the usual reasons, but because the batteries powering the microchips from your initial vaccine shots are running low. Without the booster, you risk losing access to premium surveillance features, like spontaneous Bluetooth connectivity and the ability to know when your neighbor is microwaving popcorn. Unfortunately, I can’t provide a link to this vital information. The warning comes directly from the chips. If you didn’t receive the low-battery alert it’s probably because your chip’s batteries are already depleted.
  12. October 2013 29.25 baht per USD. Close but no cigar!
  13. Pregabalin really helps with the pain, but is quite addictive. I speak from personal experience. Be careful.
  14. Im curious to know who you think the Powers That Be are?
  15. A reading of the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 suggests that the Right knows they can't eliminate Social Security. Instead, they seem to advocate for privatization. This raises the question: who do you trust? I've paid my contributions faithfully, and while it isn't a lot, what it provides helps keep the alligators at bay. I'm not sure I trust private-sector CEOs with their multimillion-dollar salaries to truly understand that.
  16. Someone once said 'What happens in your house is more important than what is happening in the White House". My stock portfolio was up 26% in 2024. This year I am down 9%.
  17. Here's a pretty good one. I think taking a pix of a moon landing site with Hubble would be a bit of a bitch.
  18. Isn’t it amazing that with possibly several billion high quality cameras in the world alien images are always grey and blurry.
  19. The account can now be accessed online and, although I have not requested it, an ATM card can be issued.
  20. Good job Mr President! That should bring down the price of eggs.
  21. All of these savings will end up in a massive tax cut for the fat cats.
  22. Just one small problem... DOGE Claimed It Saved $8 Billion in One Contract. It Was Actually $8 Million. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/18/upshot/doge-contracts-musk-trump.html
