  1. No, I don't think they're lower than I. Again, I don't like the trade because it demeans women, and is dangerous to them and the damage it does. Where did I say hurting anyone gives someone a free pass? There is violence in all kinds of relationships. In this trade, there is a mentality that goes with it, looking at woman as objects of pleasure lowers them to many, and this is where the violence comes in . Some go to them for control, thinking because they're paid for, they can do whatever they want. If a guy mostly wants sex, find a woman that thinks the same, and not be with one that's looking for more and use her. If the girls are working at a bar, they are paying the bar some of the cash. If they have pimps, they get the most. Same everywhere. If you think no ones watching you and those girls, you're mistaken. Selling your body for money is immoral, period. Look up the definition. Forget about the customers. I didn't say all were smelly, dirty, killers, abusive or anything else. Women are abused daily, and killed, so it happens, and a lot more than you know unless you're involved or talking to them, like the people doing the studies and social workers, and those trying to get some off drugs. A well adjusted woman will not choose sex work. Think of what that means to be well adjusted. All normal women, plus not so normal, want to be taken care of, meaning financial security, so I'm not sure why you mention this. Women that are trafficked or forced into this have already been subject to abuse, and more comes if they aren't doing their job, which is making money for their employers. Again, I'm talking about the dark side, and not the bar girls that get paid by regular customers just looking to get laid, and giving a percentage to the bar. If you're frequenting the bars , daily, and hit various bard, you're seeing only a tiny fraction of what goes on in just one town. If you look at the stats, violence happens all the time, somewhere, just as gun violence happens daily in the US, although I lived there 62 years and never saw any violence. especially with guns, and i sold guns for a living. Most of what goes on even in a small town you will never see, and maybe even hear about. People are beaten here daily, all over Thailand, and all you see is one case on TV that happened in one place, missing the other 1000 that happened elsewhere.
  2. Why do so many replies have adults assuming they know what others here do in their lives? I've been with a 40 kg girl, when I was a teenager, as that's the weight of a teen girl unless she's under 5 foot tall. Too tiny for me, as I prefer a woman who's from 110-140 lbs. especially if she's as tall as I am. 125 being perfect, which is the ideal weight for a woman at 5' 3". Most of the woman I've been with have weighed 110-125, curves, little body fat, good shape. I don't understand the attraction to women who look like teens, especially since I have children almost 40, but that's me.
  3. Actually, everything I've said is sensible. Some disagree because they have to pay for girls, some because they want to hurt girls, and some just don't understand what really goes on in the background of a prostitutes life, and why they got there. What fate did working as a prostitute save any from? A valid job, earning a living doing something that doesn't hurt anyone? I don't assume anything. I said many get hurt working the trade, either physically or mentally, or relationally. Prostitution is legal because money is made, and it gets votes for those promoting it.
  4. Again, assumptions on others and their business aren't valid. Of course I help her. She's my girlfriend.
  5. I live alone, in a very clean house (by me) and take care of my daughter because my ex is with boyfriend number 4 in Germany. I have a girlfriend I see every week that's very comfortable with me, as I also treat her very well. I argue about this topic because I don't like seeing women, girls boys or children taken advantage of or worse, period. I'm not directing this at those who feel the need for whatever reasons, to pay for a girl. I'm after those behind the scenes, just as Liam Neeson is in Taken, . Yes, it's a movie, but it's exactly what goes on daily in every country and it needs to be stopped.
  6. Why would you be miserable with them? Why did they gain weight if you were with them? Women usually eat when they are depressed or no being heard. I'm not sure if you meant you were married to some back there, or if that's all you have to choose from if you're an old man. I had a wife and girlfriend back home, both pretty, that were 14 and 22 years younger. They both fell apart after the split because they never found anyone that treated them well. One drives trucks and the other died from a heart attack, brought on by over prescribing doctors. Doctors I told her to stay way from because they will kill you. If you now have that little girl and shes not bought, you're lucky. If she is paid for, well, I hope you treat her well.
  7. Why would you say that? Have you understood what I've said about my relationships? Have you been there? Do you know many men who've read 65 books and countless articles about relationships, raising children, narcissism and depression? Do you understand why a man would do this? Do you understand most relationships fail or people stay in bad ones them because of finances? That most counselors have also married and divorced at least once? That failing is a way of learning, IF you aren't there to abuse or use? Would you stay in a marriage with a liar, cheater or abuser? I didn't, and I got custody of my children. How does that happen with a man?
  8. I comprehend everything I read. I'm not blind to anything in rebuttal, but if you're wrong, you're wrong, period. There have been many studies done. I posted three links I found in a few seconds. there are lots more. If you have a computer, you can also look, but I'm thinking your mind is set , which makes you the blind one and not I. I'm pretty sure, although stop me if I'm wrong, that you never read more than a line or two in those links. because if you did, you would bring up what they've said and try to dispute it. There are up to 600,000 humans trafficked in Thailand alone, with some involving fishing boats and factories, but a lot in the sex trade. There are many forced by parents to sell. You saying the only actual study done was in the UK means you never looked at anything but that one. Again ,read more, comment less, that way you'll learn. It's what I teach my children, all of whom have IQ's way above average, and they understand.
  9. I didn't say all the customers are abusive or distasteful. Many are, not all. Not having the patience to work a regular job is BS. Lowering yourself to make a little more money, much of it spent on accommodations in a distant city away from home, isn't an excuse because you spend more living there than you would home, and if you have kids, you belong with them, period, especially if the dads not around, which is usually the case here. I mentioned death, abuse and hurting because it happens, daily, in the trade. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I have nothing against casual sex at all. What I'm against is women , girls and boys forced into having it for any reason, and paying for sex isn't normal anyway. What's the real reasons? There are millions of women out there wanting a relationship. If you don't know how to treat a woman, then you go and pay for some? Like I said, I did it a few times as a teenager, then I wanted real, not a transaction for money with someone who's only doing it for money. Where do you get the idea that most of the prostitutes keep most of the money? From them? Freelancers maybe, but again, much of what they earn goes to living expenses instead of staying home and working near home to be with any children. If the sex trade isn't all immoral, what is it then? Partly immoral? Again, I didn't say all the customers are bad. In fact, most are just men who can't get a woman back home so need to pay, are having extramarital affairs, cheating on girlfriends back home, or need their egos filled by having as many partners as possible. I've been with many women, but I'm not proud of the fact we broke up, even though my intentions were always to have a relationship, hopefully one that would last. When you're young, you don't know what happens until it does, even if you're a decent person not out to use. Most women have not experienced molestation or rape. It's much higher here than anywhere else I've heard about, up to 70% of girls by age 17. In the US by comparison its 7.5% to 11%. If all the customers were respectful towards prostitutes, of course it would be better for them, but this isn't a pleasant trade we're talking about, and many are into it for violence against women. If you took away all human trafficking, coercion by parents, force by debtors, and only left those damaged by family or friends as a child, it still wouldn't be a good thing, because those women are not thinking right when they get into it. This is not about how some customers treat the women, and most of them are just having sex and leaving. This is about the trade itself, and who is behind a lot of it and why. That has always been my beef if you haven't already noticed. It is all about money and not sex, except for most of the men who just want to get off. The women aren't having a good time having sex over and over with strangers. A large majority of them have boyfriends or husbands who they go home to for sex. What normal woman wants to sleep with strangers for cash? Take away the cash, and the trade stops, and people are back to casual sex with people they are attracted to, or with the gold diggers, for the goods. Why would any of them offer a discount? This is all about the money. As much as they can get, with some ripping off customers who flash cash. Happens a lot. Most of them have to pay someone else to work the trade. These people behind the scenes are the real trash.
  10. I'm not 18. I'm 67 and have already been married more than twice, so I know what marriage entails. Marriage is a union of two people , hopefully sharing the same future plans, honesty, loyalty and non abusive, if it's going to last. Most marriages fail from unrealistic expectations or damaged people, or both. Sex , frequently, is an indication of how the marriage is going, at least as far as chemistry is concerned, and not having too many arguments. If you listen to your woman the right way, she will respond with what you need, unless she is damaged from childhood or previous relationships and can't extract her thinking from them. Providing is one thing that's necessary, and as long as your wife isn't greedy, the money doesn't matter if it pays the bills, keeps food on the table, and there's extra for time off, especially together. People thinking marriage is about sex are the delusional ones, as it's just one thing, and it won't hold a marriage together if it doesn't have the main thing available, communication.
  11. My values won't completely protect her from the real world, Even if I teach her martial arts, because most women aren't a match for a psycho who might be armed, or have help. This country has a huge problem with local men molesting, raping and using women, far more than I've ever heard or seen elsewhere. Violence against women isn't localized, but worldwide, but there are places where it's worse, and laws aren't as enforced, like here.
  12. Those links are studies done. What to you is actual world data besides studies done? It's up to you what you believe or don't believe. Some are skeptical when things are flat out proven to them because that's their nature. I don't lie, especially here. Why would I? I'm not a troll arguing just for the sake of arguing but pointing out the wrongs involved in prostitution. If you think it's normal behavior to sell your body for cash, and for others to profit by this, and many times beat, rape and kill their employees, you're really out there and not worth mine or anyone else's time. You have a computer? Try looking up things if you're interested in knowing the truth, because you obviously don't. There are many links but if you think everyone who does studies on this topic is wrong there's nothing more I can say. Lost cause comes to mind.
  13. Hypothetical question. I was merely asking him what his options would be if it wasn't available, as if you didn't already know this. Why would you bother to reply this way when you know what I was saying? And buying sex within a marriage isn't irrelevant, but one of the reasons some marriages fail. Infidelity isn't a joke.
  14. Maybe you do, as I'm not a professional john here but have a girlfriend. What I do is research, looking up things that interest me, and get answers from those who are unbiased and trying to help these girls either to get out of a dangerous trade, or help them to cope while in it. I don't take any advice from armchair quarterbacks who's only position is the purchasing and that think they know everything because they buy a girl here and there, not knowing where they come from, or go, after they've left.
  15. Actually all I post are factual, including the links, topics and replies, which are studies done by professionals that are involved in the topics. Personally, I know quite a lot about a certain number of subjects from experience and reading, along with listening to those that are teachers. None of it is fictional, as the answers have shown, with links to back them up. I'm not here 20 hours a day, but then how would you know this unless you also were? My computer is left on all day, with AN up, so maybe that's where you get your false information from? Why would I bother trolling just to argue, as that makes no sense? I come here to help for the most part, and hear others who are in the same boat, to relate.
  16. What would you do if prostitution and the girls stopped? I understand being alone isn't what some like but end up that way for one reason or another, and I fully understand what a relationship entails. You can be really attentive and loving, kind and caring to a woman, then have her stab you in the back because that's all she knows. It's frustrating to say the least and I do understand a man's needs, but I'll still take that time and be patient, because the next one might be the one you can't live without, and she might feel the same.
  17. I'm not sure about one third. I know the more it's done, the more get involved, at least until they see the reality of it all. What I do know is what I saw published that said up to 70% of girls are molested by the time they are 17, with most of this done in schools. A girl that's hurt sexually ends up with low self esteem and damaged, and just like those that were hurt by family while young, are more prone to enter this trade. This is yet another reason I will leave with my daughter as soon as possible.
  18. I could say the same about you couldn't I?
  19. I neither exaggerate or lie. It's not the sex for money that really bothers me, it's the behind the scenes after they've left. . I guess they don't have the skills or patience necessary to find and romance a regular women. To each their own. There are women out there that are normal that can be dated if you're a decent man. I also didn't say most of the men who buy are hurting these women. In fact, most are just there to get laid cheap, although they do spread diseases to others who are unaware. Most women in the trade are working for others, trafficked or coerced by someone, which means they don't receive all of the money exchanged. Freelancers do. There are children made from these transactions, as someone mentioned. Children that are left without fathers, which is not a good thing no matter what, more so when their moms leave that child with grandma because she doesn't have the time to raise them. If you asked me what I hate the most in this world, it would be people who molest, rape and kill children, followed by human traffickers who sell, drug addict, abuse , rape and beat women and boys to comply. Thinking this isn't happening where you and others here visit is naive. This is what I'd like to see stopped. Women who's parents coerce them into prostitution because they want cash are lowlifes. If you have a daughter, you want her to succeed in life, to find a nice man and have a family. What they want is cash, with absolutely no care for their offspring. Most of those that enter prostitution are from a background of molestation or rape. This is what they know, along with the low self esteem that comes with thinking you need to sell your body to get some kind of attention. After they're in it, they're hooked. Some do enter it because they think it's more money fast, not knowing what it entails when they're into it. Thinking many are happy with the lifestyle is ludicrous. How could you be happy having sex with strangers, many of whom are dirty, or smell? A woman liking sex is normal. Having it over and over again with strangers isn't. Again, this isn't about paying for sex as much as it's women and boys being victimized, controlled and forced into doing things because of fear, debts, family or trafficking. This is also about under aged children being forced into this slavery. Thinking it isn't happening as much as it is is living with blinders on.
  20. The alternative to sitting in a rice field with betel nut eaters, or harvesting rubber and making 200 baht a day is having sex, mostly unprotected, with some clients who are very fat, stink, and make the girls do things a normal woman might never do, with a high likelihood of receiving an STD, some of which never go away and some that can kill. If you think many enjoy the lifestyle, you're wrong, as those links can attest. Try going home with them and staying with them awhile to see how they act. Not for a week, but a month or more, to see the real them come out,and what that lifestyle has done to their thinking. I know of several personally that married bar girls and their work came home with them all of those times. One was threatened by a former boyfriend with a gun. The others had boyfriends on the side, which ruined their marriages. Some survive, especially if they are taken way soon afte they get into the trade, but the longer they stay in, the more damage is done. They will never see their husband as more than a permanent john. Yes, you got them out from their job, but the mentality is still there, as having sex with hundreds of men does a number on anyone's psyche, especially if some of them were brutal.
  21. Out of touch with reality is a person defending a trade that kills and maims, abuses and threatens, and gets people addicted to drugs. Why? Because its cheap sex because they can't find or know how to treat a normal woman so feel the need to pay for it? Or perhaps there is a legitimate excuse? I still haven't heard any. A balanced view of life is thinking and acting morally, period. Not intentionally hurting or taking advantage of others. Not subjecting women to degrading themselves having to have sex with men they would never be with otherwise besides the money they and their employers get. As far as there being a God, you'll find out when you pass.
  22. Another one. Try reading a link about the effects first. It may be a job but it's hardly like any other.
  23. Just the amount of trafficking that has increased, along with the dead, raped and abused.
  24. If you stuck to the facts like I do you wouldn't make assuming statement thinking you know what goes on after you let your ST go for the night. A prostitute here is the same as elsewhere. Money is made, mostly by those employing them, with the exceptions of freelancers, who come from damaged homes and do it because it's what they know, most of them leaving kids behind with grandma while they're out doing their thing in big cities. I wonder where those like you get their information about most of these workers, only knowing the few you've been with who might be exaggerating their history. Few are bullied or controlled? How would you know this? You do realize there are many social workers that get into their lives to try and help them, risking their own lives doing so. Of course there are a few who have other jobs, are students etc that ply the trade as freelancers for extra money but they are the minority. I think many here just don't realize the mentality behind becoming a person who feels the need to sell their bodies for sex, in other words, where did this thinking originate? Like I said before, besides the trafficking and parent coercion, the rest come from homes where they were molested as children, and it went from there. Doesn't take much research to find the whys.
  25. And most of it goes to the pimp, bar or trafficker involved, but you won't see this happening because they prefer to remain anonymous.................https://ecpat.org/story/trafficking-in-thailand-the-demand-fuels-child-trafficking-for-sexual-purposes/
