Whatever anyone wants to believe was the cause, whether justified or corrupt, if a police officer draws his gun, the reasonable response is to stop and put your hands up.
Just give up, pay the fine, and make your apologies so the cops will regain "face" then move on.
The only smart thing I saw was when the second brother (they're both surnamed Day), unloaded the pistol and threw it down. Don't give cops a reason to shoot you.

Get up here ! Loads of Germans who cannot speak English. I was next to one a couple of nights back at a big concert buying some food at a stall my lad points at him exited ( he doesn’t now how horrible old retirees are bless him ) and says “ Falang ! “ Germany turns and looks me in the Eyes and immediately turns away and walks off to his Handler I called after him “ You @@£@&£))!” He didn’t understand so I may of well of said “ your the best ! “
Pretty-much every German, especially the ones who travel or live abroad, speak English.
I'll wager that they pretend not to speak English just so they can avoid you.

If he has managed to stay out of trouble for so long before this sudden burst of violence and illogical behavior, I suspect that something may be happening to him psychologically. Dementia, Alzheimer's, perhaps even a mini-stroke changing how his brain is wired.

Usually, people sink to their level of equals no matter which country they visit.
I suspect and suggest that your experience is because you choose to associate with the dregs society.

Lot's of ladyboys/trannies from regional countries go to Thailand for plastic surgery and medical treatments because of the cheapness & quality compared to their own countries
Many of these have to work the sex trade in order to pay for their operations and hormones. This is why there are not just Philppinos, but ladyboys from Laos, Cambodia, China, even Japan working in the LoS.
I assume the local ladyboys do not appreciate this competition.

Hopefully, the Thai ladyboys will make peace with their Philippina brethren so everyone can go back to their real jobs of robbing tourists.

The Swede was definitely in on the scam, but at the lowest level. They're used to physically launder the fake notes anywhere they can, and they're not exactly the smartest of criminals.
Two recent stories means there must be a lot of fake Euros in Thailand right now.
I'm guessing maybe North Korea as the source, they're supposedly the biggest counterfeiters of dollars and € in the world.

Never knew Kazakhstan had so much clout with Thailand.
Not like those dirty Kiwis!

I don't understand why the Thai po-po don't like to handcuff suspects. It'd solve a lot of crazy.

Why don't you draw up a will giving her title in case of your demise. This will specifically express your intent to transfer ownership only to her.
She will probably come of age before you kick the bucket, but just in case, name a lawyer as the executor of the property until she turns 20 and can legally enter contracts by herself.

If the first doc said you have sprained muscles, then start from there.
Just throwing a ball, the motion isn't as injurious compared to a fall, or some sort of impact injury.
If it's just a sprain, you are likely dealing with an inflammation of the shoulder joint area. If this is all, a couple of cortisone injections might be all that you need.

I dunno, the truest missionaries and church outfits minister to the poorest and neediest.
Outfits like the Salvation Army are always located in Skid Row and serve the homeless, drunks, and druggies by providing meals and beds.
Or you'd prefer preachers wearing Rolexes?

Get the MRI. It will give you an omnidirectional view of what's wrong, a d you can view it as a video or as individual pics. The ortho putting your knee back together will know exactly what's wrong and what needs to be done.
An ultrasound won't give you anything close to what an MRI will pick up. And, depending on the angle, might even miss things.

Not my business what y'all eat, but I am mystified how some of you can manage to not eat Thai food ever.
Is this true for all Asian foods? Other SE Asian cuisines or Chinese/Korean/Japanese food? Hong Kong style?
I couldn't survive without a good mix of Asian & Western cuisines.

Air purifiers are nothing more than a fan with fancy electronics.
It is the HEPA & charcoal filter that does all the work.
The 2 things you need to consider is:
1. The total area you want to purify, and buy a purifier rated for greater than this; and
2. Availability and cost of replacement filters. It's the HEPA filters that will cost more than the purifier over the lifetime of operation.
Tip. You can vacuum the outer charcoal filter to remove accumulated junk and extend its life, but when the HEPA is full, you need to replace it.

Hand drawn maps comes from age-old traditions designed to protect the peasants and their land. Not all properties had addresses, nor could everyone read & write, so having someone hand draw a map of their property was a way for poor farmers to identify their land.
Some traditions just don't change.

Beef tartare means it is raw. Chop it & throw it on a plate.
Maybe put a raw egg on top.
How much work were you expecting?

It will be a case of he said, she said.
If you weren't aware that verbal agreements are enforceable, you should speak to an attorney.
As for this situation, since the renter continued to pay rent and live in the rental after the original expiration of the lease, it is entirely reasonable that both parties had verbally agreed to extend the lease by another year.
If the renter breaks this agreement, then the deposit will be kept by the landlord as Liquidated Damages.
-
Verbal agreements are legally binding, especially since you don't have anything written.
And since you are breaking this agreement, the landlord can keep your deposit as Liquidated Damages. This is kept in lieu of other legal mechanisms such as using the courts to force you to comply with your one-year verbal contract.
Just walk away. You broke an agreement and expect the Landlord to be happy about it.

So?
In most countries, if you physically go after a cop and grab for his gun, the police have every right to shoot their attackers. No court would convict that cop.
