The 3 Lumpini projects.  Centric Sea.  Cetus. The Base.  Baan Plai Haad.  The Palm.  Zire and Unixx.  Amari Residences.  Supalai Mare.  Dusit.  Riviera Wongamat and Jomtien.   The 7 View Talay projects.  And many others.  The completed, successful projects vastly outnumber the few failed ones.

I'm not much interested in any condo in Thailand, but I think it's a known fact that several of the7 View Talay's, which you claim are all success projects, have still plenty of unsold units. Coincidentally, it are the later projects.

Had the first been a bust they would not have built the other two.  Ditto for Sansiri and Raimon Land, and others.

I thought I read in the news that the successful Raimon land is going through a bankruptcy court to sort 7 Billion in debt. Clearly they have built a lot, but if so successful, they would not have 7 billion in debts

It's possible that this type of valve is or was used in pools around this area so I'm thinking that local pool shops may still stock this part.

Go have a look at the shop on Sukhumvith near the flyover where road #36 connects with Sukhumvith. They have several of less known brands.

Why you not start with posting a picture of your own valve, instead one of a random valve?

And there may not be a name on the valve, there might be a name on the filter, so that will be the brand of your valve as well

I have the right NOT to be infected by somebody who refuses to be vaccinated.

But wait a minute, according to the vaccine fanboys here, when you are vaccinated the chance of getting infected is very small, and virtually nihil that you will be symptomatic.

Again, the person who is exercising his rights to not get vaccinated, can according to the fanboys only infect like-minded people who decided not to get vaccinated.,

  4. About a year ago I purchased and air fryer, and I think that was one of the best investments I have made in my life.

I'm surely no food connoisseur, and however in my house I have 2 fully installed kitchens, the microwave and deep fryer is what is ever used.

I will never cook a meal, first of all because I'm single, and secondly I don't like all the dishwashing and cleaning.

To me it isn't worth to spend at least 30 minutes preparing a meal, then consume it in 15 minutes, and then again spend another 30 minutes cleaning the kitchen and wash up utensils.

So I either eat out or buy ready made foods, which I just warm up.

An exception to that rule are French fries for which I had bought an odorless and easy clean deep fryer from Europe , but even that got bored over time, because you have to change oil frequently, and cleaning the deep fryer is also an extensive job.

The air fryer was then also in the first place a replacement for the deep fryer.

That was a straight success, since frozen French fries came out perfectly from the first time, without any oil involved, and to clean the fryer afterwards is a job of just a few minutes.

Since then, I started to cook eggs in it, without water of course, and without broken shells as I had when boiling them in water, and easy peeling as well

I fry vegetables in the air fryer, something I would never have done on a cooking hob, because it would involve a lot of cleaning afterwards.

I like cashew nuts, but they are expensive, like over 100 Baht for 100 gram, so the other day i bought at Makro 800 gram of raw cashew nuts for 165 Baht. Threw them in the air fryer for 6 minutes, added some salt, and they taste the same as what would have probably cost me 1000 Baht if bought ready made.

I have also bought me an aluminium plate to make fried eggs, but I haven't been brave enough to try it yet, as I know what time I spent to clean microwave and kitchen when I tried it in the microwave.

So if you have any easy recipes to share, post them here.

Struggling to comprehend the difference?  Can’t handle the ‘grey area’ ???

Enforcing vaccines violates rights I’m in agreement with.

Yet, ultimately, those who choose not take a vaccine place others at risk and I disagree with their choice.

We have had this discussion a few times already, where you accuse people of struggling with this or that, while it is actually you who is the one struggling.

Let me make it clear to you.

I certainly agree that no vaccination should be enforced.

At the same time I wholly disagree with those who chose to exercise their rights not to vaccinate.

Disagreeing with people exercising their rights is the same as denying them any rights, which is the same as enforcing them to accept what you think is right.

    Got it now?

Its becoming more clear that a vaccinated individual has less potential to transmit SARS-CoV-2.

BUT... IF YOU wish to ignore the science and continue to believe that vaccinated individuals present the same risk of transmission as a non-vaccinated individual then its obvious that you cannot be educated.

Maybe I should remove the " as easily" words from my first post, to please you.

What I do not ignore is that there are enough reports already that vaccinated people still can transmit the virus, though it is BELIEVED to be to a lesser extent, but nobody knows for sure really, and that is why new studies has been started

    https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/01/health/coronavirus-vaccine-walensky.html

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday walked back controversial comments made by its director, Dr. Rochelle P. Walensky, suggesting that people who are vaccinated against the coronavirus never become infected or transmit the virus to others.

    Totally incorrect.

Thanks for letting us know once again, that you know it all better than the scientists.

    https://www.livescience.com/moderna-covid-19-vaccine-college-trial-transmission.html

While these studies provide clues that vaccinated people may be less likely to spread the virus, because they appear to avoid infection overall, they cannot confirm this conclusively. The new college campus study, called PreventCOVIDU, will attempt to directly answer the question through contact tracing — where COVID-19 infections are tracked among vaccinated people, unvaccinated people and a large group of their close contacts.

Results from the study are expected "later this year," according to the study website.

I think AstraZeneca learned their lesson from over-promising to the European Union so did the opposite with Thailand and are actually going to deliver early.

AZ not gonna deliver anything to Thailand.

Thailand will produce the vaccine, of which the biggest part is designated for export, and part of it they can use for local consumption, but they still have to pay AZ for it, as they are only producing under license.

From what I have read its very likely that the “backup battery” inside the enclosure is dead. The problem started a few weeks ago after several long power cuts (2hrs+).

When you remove the front cover, you will see on the backside of the PCB that holds the LCD, 3 rechargeable button batteries.

You can order them from Lazada or Shopee, and have your local tv repair shop replace them, as they are soldered on the pcb.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/193491269262?hash=item2d0cfa768e:g:am4AAOSw1T1e1LEG

To remove the front cover is very easy.

You press the silver cover at the sides, then you can lift it off

Next there are just 4 screws at the side, and maybe 2 small ones underneath if you have the pH module.

Remove them and you can lift of the front part, while the power rack remains on the wall

Look at the UK figures (available online in various places) and you will see that infections, hospital admissions and deaths were increasing up and until vaccination took off. Therefore it is impossible to say that they had peaked.

Since the vaccinations got under way, they have fallen dramatically demonstrating the effectiveness of vaccination.

Complete lock downs were also in place in the UK when the vaccinations took off.

3BB will only run a fibre optic cable a maximum of 500 metres from the node to your house.

I live 740 metres from the node, and they will not run the cable for me.

Yes they will run 500 meter free of charge, but you can pay for the extra distance, because the distance to the node can be easily double that

I actually checked out this company already, but the doors on their website weren't the style I wanted. But, I just went to their German website and they actually have modern looking doors in their gallery. We called the Thai number and I was fully expecting them to say they aren't available in Thailand, but we spoke to a person and they said they can custom make them! So we sent them what we're looking for and they're going to get back to us with a quote. Obviously it won't be cheap, but if it's the same quality as their standard front doors it might be worth it. Contrary to what some others have said, many of the UPVC door and window systems are very strong and secure. Nothing like the cheapo ones in Home Pro or Boonthavorn. Thank you so much for recommending this! Hopefully what they come back with isn't a complete shock...

My doors and windows are from Thyssen - Inoutic, that's why I knew they had them.

They don't produce in Asia as far as I know, but import from Europe, and that is also why you probably can get every that is on their European site.

They are actually a Belgian  company, Deceuninck, who bought the polymer division from Thyssen.

About 30% of people in Australia have health effects lasting for months after COVID infection, requiring rehabilitation. That's not "a very small percentage".

No, not 30% of people in Australia.

30% of symptomatic people in Australia who got serious ill effects from Covid

That is something completely different, stop the fear mongering

If you have online banking most have a facility for spending/travelling  abroad notification (no phone call needed), or if not use the secure message facility. Usually you can specify a period of up to 90 days -then just keep renewing it.

Once you have your new card, for any online purchases you don’t physically need it ,just the details including expiry date and 3 digit CVC code on the back - so you could get it sent to U.K. address to a trusted person

    Not always true.

My renewed CC is in my home country, but I have the previous one here with me.

When I make a online purchase I enter the details from the new one, but at the end it asks me to insert the card into a Digipass, and press some codes.

The Digipass detects this is not the new card, and cancels the transaction
