To OP, I've had a Scrambler for 2 years, 20,000km. Good bike but service from Ducati is terrible. I'd definitely go with the MT07. I've had no experience with Yamaha service centres but can't imagine they're worse, and bike is great.

I'm in Chiang Mai and now the service centre here is closed. If anyone knows a good place to get a Ducati serviced in CM I'd love to hear about it. And @liddelljohn if you could let us know where you order parts from it'd be great. Thanks.

Any sort of customer service in this place is terrible, it's to be expected with any product bought and owned here unfortunately.

I wondered the same as Onrai.  Credit cards are unsecured loans and it's rather surprising that your GF would have 560k+ credit limit.

By the way, what has your GF been spending all that money on?  Surely you've asked.

Yeah, it's been spent on thai bf / gambling debts and an alcohol and substance addiction.

Never owned one but have ridden one - brilliant bike great fun to ride. Would never own one in Thailand though. Parts and servicing will be a nightmare unless you live near a Ducati dealership.

    there's a few scattered about - phitsanulok / korat / pattaya / 3 in BKK / CM / KK ( this may have closed ) / Buriram ( not sure about this one )

you're right they keep a very limited amount of spares on the shelf, order from bkk or........Bologna (sp).

Luckily, to date, i've had little go wrong but guys i know have had a mare.

I agree that something or everything doesn’t make sense. She makes $US 1,160- 1,333 and they give her a credit card with a limit of$US 20,000.  I have a credit score of 825, generally considered excellent, and I have never been offered  $20,000 limit credit card. I don’t think the banks and the credit card companies are naive, so why would they give her just a generous limit in the first place? Something doesn’t add up.

Are we in America, last time i went out here i used THB.

    Interesting.....

    1.  Eventually the bank will arrange for a debt collection agency to chase the outstanding, taking of personal possessions can only happen legally after a court order.

    2.  No, the debt does not pass on to anyone else, unless there was a co-signer acting as a guarantor who will be asked to repay the outstanding.

    3.  No.

Post #71 and finally and answer to the questions.

    Thank you.

Good.  The prettier they are the less debt they have.  It is the same all over the world.  Where there is a LA9, there is a man not far behind, paying her bills.

The fatties are like the proverbial drunken sailor on shore-leave, spending on hair/nail spas & boutiques and "brand names" in an attempt to disguise their homeliness.

This contradicts what 50% of these posts say, which one is it?

New girlfriend time, next time choose one with less debt.

I know everyone on this forum says get yourself a woman with a decent job, but they're all loaded with debt.

A bar girl scrabbling around for the next months rent to her 3,000bht condo is so much easier to satisfy!

I'll make sure i add this question to the interview process for next girlfriend - lol

I travelled out yesterday and went to the securty stairway 3. I was told this is Chinese only and to go to number 2 stairway. There was a large queue to even get on the stairway. Once I got up to the actual security area I was met with another large queue. For what it's worth there wasn't any queue for stairway 3, is this new? I've certainly not had this before. The actual immigration was no problem, I was through in 5 minutes.

thanks, so how long did all this take?

    Jingthing live in Thailand right?

many years. How your thai language skill? Is difficult learn second language yes?

You know about how ask for something polite thai language right? Can read thai?

When I work the hotel Phuket before have very angry Aussie scream at taxi driver. They said the place want to go wrong way, so he take them wrong place.

They so impolite, refuse pay him. They say to me “F idiot, why he not speak English??”

I answer that if he can know second language he will get high wage job more than be taxi driver. Ask them “taxi driver in Australia study all the language for help tourist? Or not?”

IMO eglish speaker never learn second language is most impolite. (USA, Aussie, NZ, England). And speak to quickly.

Usually German, Italy, Holland, Korean, Chinese very polite about language misunderstanding. Because they understand it difficult. Have experience.

I've had many taxi drivers in Oz who all speak very good english and are the most part polite, unlike here.

A high % of taxi drivers here in Thailand are idiots, see many stories about them in daily news, from Thai and farang so it's nothing biased ( before you start ).

    Thanks.
