High infestation so cure to begin and then prevent. I'm assuming that a more aggressive approach would be required at the start and then settle into some kind maintenance routine. I don't know if the bugs are carried in by the wind from adjacent fields or how they come to populate an area.

I have a Thai friend who tries to grow most of her own veges but says that most die off now due to mealy bug infestation. I would say problem solving is not one of her greatest skills so I'm trying to help out. If anyone has any hands on experience dealing with this problem, I would appreciate any suggestions. Yes, I will google the problem but I find that local people with local experience usually have good answers.

Looking mainly for herbs and flowers that aren't native to Thailand (eg oregano, thyme, lavender), not the packs of common Thai vegetable seeds that you see everywhere.

Any variety other than sugar bananas (which I only like roasted)
-
The local market and regular fruit stalls only have sugar bananas. Don't know where the other varieties are hiding lately.

If you use such a thing and you're happy with it, would love to know make and model.

Well as you will know, Thai bureaucracy acts in mysterious ways. It may well be that they don't give a damn. We don't know until someone tries and shares that information. For example you're SUPPOSED to show proof of having a certain amount of money on bank deposit if you do a border run but in 20 years I've never been asked once nor has anyone else I know. Go figure.
-
No that wasn't what I was asking at all. I guess you didn't read my question. My question was had anyone actually tried and succeeded. I wasn't suggesting anyone else do it, nor did I say intended to do it myself. So learn to answer questions instead of rewriting someone else's question for your own gratification so that you can virtue signal.

Any Myanmar border points open for visa run?

Just curious how you get this information. I don't want to bother people with this question needlessly in the future. Thanks -
I tried this milk recently. Firstly, it tastes completely different from any other milk I've tested in Thailand. Do you think there's sugar added to it?

🔴 Some of you people are seriously sick in the head. This is a is a forum about family and you're making sexualy inappropriate jokes about a 14 year old boy. If you want to talk about stuff like that, fine but do it in the pub forum.

The boy and his mum live next door. They have been great neighbours for years. I don't have any kids myself, so no idea what kids that age like. Especially a Thai teenager. Happy to spend a couple of thousand baht.

Well if your interested, it benefits me to explain as I'll have to do that for the practitioner at some point unless they can diagnose the issue with a hands on approach.. Started with a mild but sharp pain when I was changing sheets! That feeling passed in a few moments but since then something constantly hasn't felt normal. I don't feel any pain when doing body weight exercise, going up or down stairs or walking (haven't done any jogging or sprinting since then). But there is always a feeling of fullness around the bottom of the kneecap and a tingling. Any day that I do a lot of walking, afterwards the is a throbbing and feeling of warmth in the area which passes after a few hours. At no point do I feel what I would describe as pain, whether I'm being active or not. I don't know if the issue is somewhere in the joint, the large tendon that connects with the kneecap or with supporting ligaments. There is definitely what I would describe as reduced stability in the joint. ie it seem 'loose' somehow. Sometimes I get a more pronounced feeling like there is something stuck in my knee or a fullness, particularly when I'm walking. But if I pull my heel to my backside, quite often there is a good pop and that feeling subsides. A few times I tried taking aspirin at night and applying AI cream. Then it always seemed better in the morning but after a while it comes back. I think many people ignore warning signs until something irreversible happens. I love my exercise so I want to address this early. Kudos if you've read this far!

I'm starting to develop an issue with one of my knees. It's far from being anything problematic for me yet. I'm looking for someone competent to make a diagnosis and perhaps how I may be able to manage it. If you've had a positive experience with a practitioner somewhere in Chiang Mai, then I'd appreciate any contact info.

High end Phillips shaver has a dead battery. Needs a lot of specialised tools which I don't want to purchase for a single job. Would like to find someone who does this kind of work. Cheers

I've had excellent char siu in many countries (the best in Sydney at a place where people queued for a 100 metres). But haven't found the good stuff here after trying half dozen places. Hence asking for a specific shop recommendation. I thought that was obvious.
