I've never tried to have electrical items repaired in Thailand, so no idea if it's practical or where to go. It sounds like you really like your bread, perhaps consider buying a bread machine. Once you get the bread the way you want it, it takes only a couple of minutes to load the machine each time you make it. It would take you less time than going out to buy it.

Exactly. Don't want to wear out my s21 doing hotspot duties. Don't like dedicated hotspots because you have to pull the Sim out every time you want to renew your plan.

I don't want to use a dedicated portable hotspot. My only restriction is I'm not going to buy a Chinese owned brand phone (Huwawei, Xiaomi etc). Made in China is fine (let's face it, most brands are). Aside from this I guess compact size and ruggedness are a plus. Strong transmission of the WiFI signal is obviously important but there's no way to know which phone is better.

I'm sure this has been asked. I did try searching 45 in this forum but zero results. Search engine must be broken.
