I’m looking at taking a diploma for my job in England. On the website it says it’s degree level .
Just out of interest would this be enough to get a work permit in Thailand ?
-
They were shots of speeda . I’m also worried that I won’t be able to get the fourth dose in the U.K. on the 28th day because they use a different treatment there . Hence why they didn’t use immunoglobulin.
im thinking I will either have to stay here or go home and return which will be expensive .

I got bit a few days ago in Udon by a dog .
I immediately went and got rabies vaccine and have since had the second jab.
However the internet says I also need a shot of immunoglobulin but I can’t find any mention of this in relation to Thailand .
Does anyone know what the protocol is here and if there is anywhere I can get a shot of it ? Will travel to bangkok if necessary .

Hopefully a PCR test will suffice too?

Hi
not sure i will get much help here but have the following problem and perhaps some members may have experienced similar.
My Thai wife moved to U.K. about a year and half ago . When she washes her quite a lot comes out and I’ve noticed it’s thinning in parts . She is 30 so shouldn’t be happening. She think it could be to do with the water here.
anyone have any advice / experienced the same ?

Hi
Apologies if this has been covered .
I am a qualified electrician in the U.K. can this be used to acquire a work permit in the same way a degree would ?
I am also married to a Thai . But from what I’ve read I can’t get a work permit purely cos I’m married. Is this correct ?
Thanks !

I have recently married a thai in the U.K.
Does anyone know of anything I have to do now?
For example do I need to inform the Thai embassy ?
Does she need need to change her Thai passport to reflect her new name?
is there any other documents etc they need to be completed ?
Any advice much appreciated ….

Am I correct in thinking that as of 1st of April a Thai citizen returning home won’t need a fit to fly document?
Also, I’ve read that the quarantine will still be 14 days for people returning from countries with nee variants . Does anyone have that list ?
There’s an article on bangkok post but not sure if can post the link.
Many thanks ...

Has anyone ever used Thailandpost to send to the U.K. ?
My gf had a package coming but we have received message saying the address is incorrect . It isn’t as I have a photo of what the sender wrote .Does anyone know what U.K. based courier deals with their packages once they arrive?
Many thanks...

I think if you are applying from within the U.K. maybe you don’t need the TB test ??
-
Does anyone know where I could get a TB test done ? No links to any clinics on the gov page and not much luck on google either.
-
Wow wow wow. That’s very interesting, thanks both of you for your advice.
I have a A1 test booked for next week. And will look into the TB test now. I guess once that is done I will access where we are at.
My main concern is that if she leaves the U.K. getting to see her again could become nearly impossible due to the new covid outbreak in Thailand.

@Jumbo1968Thanks for your reply . Would you mind explaining the exceptional circumstances please ? Or do you just mean covid etc. Hope I don’t sound nosey .

Hi All,
My thai gf is currently in the U.K. with me. She has three months left on her visa.
Would it be possible to convert the visa to a fiancé visa whilst she is in the U.K. or would she have to return to Thailand first.
Also , our application for the visitor visa said she would be here for for 90 days , but she is now going to stay the full six months. Would this effect our fiancé visa application?
-
@7by7Thanks , yes I’m thinking a few weeks in turkey maybe cheaper and more fun than being apart and also paying for ASQ / another set of flights for Thailand to U.K.
Just hope it doesn’t effect the next application for a visa . I wonder if her staying longer than 90 days would come into consideration for a different type of visa such as fiancé visa .
-
@theoldgitAs ever, thanks for your answer.
Do you think she has to return to Thailand or could we go to another country for a holiday ?
Ive heard she could come back again during the six month period and that won’t be frowned upon. Is that correct?
-
The visa agent wrote 90 days on the application. Would the current covid situation be a reason for her not to leave.
If she goes Thailand we will have to pay ASQ etc. Many thanks

Hi All,
My thai gf is currently in the U.K. on a six month tourist visa.
I have been advised that it is wise for her to leave the U.K. after 90 days as this could help with applying for the next tourist visa .
Does anyone know the logic behind this ? And how long she should leave for ?
Also, does she have to go home for this period ? Or could we go to another country for a month ?
Many thanks,
Herb

My Thai girlfriend is currently on a tourist visa with me in the U.K.
If I was to apply for the new tourist visa and head to Thailand the same date she is due back, would we be able to quarantine together?
Many thanks

@UpnotoverHasn’t applied for the COE yet.
I will do it ASAP. Would I contact the London embassy for that ? Last time I emailed them I got a robot reply with something irrelevant.
thanks

Hi
Does anyone know what the process is for a thai national wishing to return to Thailand at the moment.
The U.K. embassy sites states Thais can now buy tickets direct from some airlines? Will these flights actually go ahead as planned or get cancelled.
Ive tried emailing and just got a robot reply about foreigners wanting to enter Thailand.
Any help would be much appreciated ... -
Thai airways food is bad. That’s why I fly with EVA.
