The rain has started again since this morning (October 18th) which has caused many areas in Thalang to begin flooding again, following drastic flooding over the past weekend. The Minister told the Associated Press that there is no official confirmation whether the President would attend the APEC meeting or not. Anutin who concurrently performs as deputy prime minister-cum-public health minister contended that his party’s electoral campaign to legalise the medical use and household production of marijuana nationwide had been approved by the Election Commission before it was propagated during the 2019 general election, thus refuting allegations that it had been carried out in violation of the relevant law as charged by Pheu Thai party leader Chonlanan Srikaew. The Bhumjaithai campaign to promote the medical use and household production of marijuana had also been declared at parliament as part of the current government’s policies following the previous general election, Anutin said. The money was donated by police and their families in a special fund called "Kindness of Thai Police" for the victims' families, reported INN. The fund was set up by RTP chief Pol Gen Damrongsak Kittipraphat following the incident on October 6th. The account was closed at midnight on Sunday. A ceremony was held yesterday in front of a large vinyl sign proclaiming the amount. Family members held an individual check. Families of 34 deceased people, many of them very young children, each received 310,000 baht. Families of the injured received 275,000 (six) 200,000 (one) and 50,000 (three). Forty four recipients got money in total. The chief of the Nong Bualamphu provincial police presided at the handover ceremony. RTP spokesman Pol Maj-Gen Achayon Kraithong expressed his sorrow on behalf of the force and hoped these donations as well as state and other help would alleviate the suffering of those left behind. A man in a yellow shirt was seen covered in blood on his leg before a member of the public on a motorcycle took him to hospital.It happened in the market parking lot on Monday afternoon.
