The Brit in the story was a muppet and was asking to be attacked. That doesn't mean the attackers should have taken him up on his offer.

You have no clue  about Thailand.  Do not mess with Thais after they are done working and chilling and minding their own business!!!!  Do you see Thais messing with us Tourists?  I live here and never have been messed with my locals.  They put up with us and say hello and that's it.  This is their country and I respect that.  Some folks just cannot handle alcohol and need to be reminded that they are not home.

The laws concerning leaving the country to have sex with a minor are defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2423.

The statute makes the following acts illegal:

 

Traveling to engage in sexual conduct: If a person themselves leaves the state or country to have illicit sex with a person under 18 years of age, they are committing a sexual offense. A conviction carries with it a prison sentence of up to 30 years and/or a fine.

 

Having illicit sex in a foreign country: If a U.S. citizen goes to another country to live temporarily or permanently and engages in criminal sexual conduct with a minor while there, they are committing an offense. If they are convicted, they could be fined and/or be imprisoned for up to 30 years.

 

HOW IS ILLICIT SEXUAL CONDUCT DEFINED?

According to 18 U.S.C. § 2423, illicit sexual conduct means:

Engaging in a sex act with a person under 18 years of age,

Engaging in a sex act in exchange for something of value with someone under 18 years of age, or

Producing child pornography

A sex act can include masturbation, sexual intercourse, or physical contact with a person’s genitals.

Absolutely correct.  Folks seem to forget that the USA is not fooling around when it comes to underage sex and human  trafficking.  In addition, you are marked for life and your chance of getting a good job is over!  Finally, in Prison, I can assure you the Gangs (especially the Aryan Gangs) do not like you  when you get in.  Trust me.

Folks need to realize that Americans in Thailand are under the watchful eye of the FBI human trafficking team.  Trust me, they are not effing around and hunt these guys down with a passion.  His life is hell when he gets home.  

If he is brought back to America, he may have to do Federal Prison time, which is hell on earth for Child Predators.  Seriously, his journey of pain has just started.

And he deserves every punishment the Lifers will bring on him when he is sent to the Big House.
