On the left! The overloaded pick-up was blocking the passing lane. My guess is that overloaded pick-up refused to yield and that was the source of the dispute.

No I think everybody prefers air pollution season Dec- April when Chiang Mai becomes the most polluted city on the planet to witness the mountains disappear. It's a once in a lifetime experience! ????????

So locals will be excluded from entering BKK as in Phuket sand trap? Good luck with that. ????

Sucking the country dry is actually a form of self sufficiently.

Maybe making appointments would keep the crowds down during a pandemic? ????

That's it, they destroyed domestic tourism for a mere 33,000 foreign tourists? Amazing.

Not to mention the extreme air pollution that inundates the country for five months every year and getting worse! Chiang Mai made most polluted city on the planet two years in a row due to the unsustainable practice of burning the fields after harvest. ????

Phuket is special.

The 2.5 air pollution season (Dec.-April) is what killed it for us. High levels of PM2.5 air pollution are not conducive to healthy life style, so as a year round retirement destination it would be out of the question. Although the south is much better, the best case scenario would be to leave during the peak season.

It's amazing to see what mother's in line at the local 711 are feeding their children. Junk food isn't as cheap as traditional thai food but business is booming. ????

It's an interesting experiment. I hope it goes well.
