what I find amazing, everybody needs PCR tests 48 hours before they fly. Yet these people are catching covid in ASQ. It makes me wonder about the hotels and their cleanliness and if they have been disengaged regularly.  !

There is still no scientific proof yet, that a vaccinated person could still pass on the virus. It is still too early to have conclusive scientific proof.

Therefore, this could be dropped or reversed when the proof is published.

Finally some real numbers are coming.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. If that is 900 in one day, the true rate of infection is higher.

They must have bought some new testing kits. They are gonna need a shed load more very very soon.

I do not believe in these figures, and haven't since they started publishing. 
Let's see if the 800 REAL cases materialize tomorrow, or they water them down as well.

I have never believed the diminishing figures that they keep publishing. The virus is exponential especially if the R rate is above 1.

The virus is in the country and they need to jump on it before it is out of control., and they lose face .. yet again !!

I still do not believe this when the virus is exponential in every country worldwide that has outbreaks. 
even Japan and South Korea cannot contain the outbreaks they have.

I think this is a very prudent and wise decision. As stated ‘We cannot wait for the government’s decision’.

There is a waiting list months long. If they wait until the Government approves, they will be so far down the list that it will be pointless.

Plus the WHO and the international community have stated that ZERO profit can be made from the vaccine, only transportation costs can be absorbed as extra.

Well done for some forward thinking, because when the Thai Government roll out the vaccination program people here on TVF will be jumping up and down like Monkey Tennis at the inability of effective vaccination distribution and delivery.

only yesterday and a few days ago on ‘TalkRadio and ‘The One Show’ respectively did they have one of the leading scientists explaining that they have been working with these types of viruses for the past 10 years (sars and mers). She said that due to this historical data gathered, they could work straight away on covid and that new technology was able to strip the sticky spikes (corona) off the virus to create the vaccine. I do not agree with your statement or any founding truth behind what you have stated.

my thoughts exactly. A prime political statement to hide the fact that Thailand has only started procuring the vaccine, and deliveries will be so far behind the rest of the world. Political diversion !!

There sounds some concern in some peoples’ voices here today. Someone said they want a choice of vaccine !! Well, can you please tell me what country has currently a choice of vaccine for their population? All the world are taking the vaccines their government are buying, and no country (not even the UK) have given their population a choice of vaccine.  !!

moreover, the last count I saw was over 700 per day. As a virus it wil only get larger and bigger. I do not believe any numbers the Thai government are giving that it is reducing.

Yeh. What happened to the bar girls. All 20+ of them.... they are the cause of this spread especially the one who transmitted the virus to a woman on a flight to Bangkok...

she is the culprit and the one whom has spread the virus. She needs to be dragged into the streets for all the Thai people to see that a THAI brought this virus into the country.
