  1. This is a historical day for sure, I am watching the South Africa's genocide case live on Al Jazeera Glad to see that some of my previously removed videos on AN are now displayed as part of the SA case for the entire world to see. Thank you South Africa for standing up to the US and Israel's pressure and pressing ahead with genocide case.
  2. So ironic that 75 years after the genocide convention was adopted because of the Holocaust, it’s Israel in the dock today facing genocide accusations.
  3. The immediate reply indicates that you have not bothered, as usual, to watch the interview. The interview should be evaluated based on the legal argument itself instead of who making these valid legal assessments. Nothing new here from known posters who deny any wrongdoing in Gaza by Israel and blindly continue to defend war crimes and genocide. Continuously attacking people who disagree with you is a sign of weak argument and won't stop us from exposing the first ever live streamed genocide.
  4. This Lawyer Reveals Why Israel's Gaza Onslaught Could Be Stopped By Genocide Case (youtube.com) Daniel Machover, a highly qualified Jewish lawyer based in London with very interesting family history, provides insights into the Genocide case at the ICJ, highlighting the following important aspects: - The specific reason for South Africa's legal action at the ICJ. - South Africa will have no problem providing evidence of Israeli conduct and intent in relation to Genocide (lot of statements by Israeli PM, politicians etc calling Palestinians human animals, cutting of food, water and power supplies, reference to nuke Gaza, Wipe them all out, no innocent people in Gaza etc.) - The focus on presenting a plausible legal argument rather than proving genocide has occurred at this early stage. SA aims to demonstrate the potential for genocide and the associated risk to the lives of Palestinians as an entity. - While the court case itself may extend over several years, there is the possibility of the ICJ issuing immediate provisional measures to Israel, urging a halt to current actions in Gaza. - The UN Security Council possesses the authority to enforce court orders, but Israel has a history of non-compliance with UN directives. - The potential use of a veto by the United States in the proceedings.
  5. Application instituting proceedings and Request for the indication of provisional measures (icj-cij.org) No doubt in my mind those who stick their heads in the sand and deny the ongoing genocide in Gaza have not read or willing to read the South African legal case. I have actually read all 84 pages and listened to hours of interviews with the brightest legal minds on Utube confirming the strength and legal merits of the case.
  6. The international news clearly shows that Israel is committing ongoing and daily various war crimes in Gaza and the West Bank. South Africa's legal presentation at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) is highly persuasive, containing an 84-page document outlining disturbing crimes targeting civilians, medical facilities, journalists, UN facilities, schools, infrastructure, and more. It is hoped that the ICJ judges will recognize what some Western politicians may have overlooked or chosen not to address and issue an order to stop the genocide.
  7. You simply have no answer and lost the argument hence this pathetic one liner. Not that I ever expected you to admit any mistakes or be reasonable. Keep wasting my time reasoning with a hard-line Zionist. In 3 months, you never admitted any wrongdoing done by Israel in Gaza or even once showed any regrets or humane sympathy for a single civilian or child from over 100,000 murdered and injured victims on the other side.
  8. We are not talking here about Russia or China or Syria etc. Try to stay on topic. The links to interview and article are specifically about the current situation in Gaza. Max Blumenthal is an award-winning journalist and author of many books. Fine, don't have to believe him but what about all the people he interviewed? what about statements of IDF pilots who participated in the wrongful shelling that day? What about the images of charred cars/houses/bodies/demolished houses and military bases? Does this all look to you as a damage done by AK47s? What about Israeli eyewitnesses who were there and witnessed what happened? They all lying and only Brian who is in Thailand knows the truth of what happened that day in Israel?
  9. I am sorry but you are the last person to preach about credible news media sources as almost all of your posts are from questionable sources or from obvious biased IDF propaganda machines. Also, please let the moderators do their job and refrain from acting as one.
  10. https://twitter.com/i/status/1739319261896523925 An Israeli Journalist uploaded this footage of Israeli forces turning a stadium in Gaza into a mass detention camp. Gaza civilians are forcibly removed from displacement centers, stripped naked in cold weather and paraded in front of cameras. Such routine humiliation, torture of civilians further enforces the belief that Israel is fighting the entire Palestinian people, not just Hamas.
  11. 'We'll never forgive': Mom, daughter on life of fear in Gaza captivity, pain upon return | The Times of Israel Some aspects of their testimony were conveniently removed because it does not support your bias. Here are extracts of some bits that you did not mention in your post. “They wanted us happy, they tried to supply food, sometimes we helped make the food,” Chen added. Agam would keep up with her workout routine, which she said her captors commended her on, and there was even an arm wrestling competition between Chen and one of the guards. “He — the younger one — brought a towel, because he’s not allowed to touch me,” Chen said. The mother and daughter agreed that the captors appeared to grow somewhat fond of them, giving Agam the nickname “Salsabil” which means freshwater in Arabic. Agam is Hebrew for “lake.” To Chen, they said, “‘We love you, don’t go home. Go to Tel Aviv, don’t return to Kfar Aza,'” she said. The family tried to use their mattresses as some form of cover “and then our guards, our captors, the terrorists, were on top of us, protecting us with their bodies from the strikes. We were afraid the army would come to rescue us. Hamas fighters commended me for exercising saying ‘Bravo’
  12. The onus of proof that they are Hamas fighters lies with Israel. However, one can tell that overweight, old men and ordinary looking women and children definitively not Hamas fighters.
  13. Graves in Gaza damaged following Israeli ground offensive (washingtonpost.com) Even the dead are not left alone as Israeli invading ground forces have damaged or destroyed at least six cemeteries during their advance into the northern Gaza Strip, most of them in recent weeks, according to an analysis of new satellite imagery and video footage by The New York Times.
  14. “New Guantánamo”: Euro-Med Monitor calls for international probe into Israel’s torture and murder of Gaza detainees (euromedmonitor.org) The “Sde Teman” Israeli army camp, located between Beersheba and Gaza has been turned into a new Guantánamo-like prison, the Geneva-based human rights group said, where detainees are caged in inhumane conditions; Euro-Med Monitor cited the Israeli army’s use of open-air chicken coops to house the detained and withholding of food or drink for long periods of time. Within fenced compounds, detainees are blindfolded and subjected to harsh interrogations with their hands tied. According to testimonies, lights are turned on and intensely shone upon them at night, with the intention of exhausting and torturing them.
  15. List of Israeli public officials convicted of crimes or misdemeanors - Wikipedia Israel has a substantial and troubled past regarding corruption, with a pervasive history that extends beyond individual leaders. Benjamin Netanyahu is just one example; preceding him, various figures such as presidents, prime ministers, ministers, Knesset members, chief Rabbis, and Mayors have faced convictions for a range of crimes, including rape, sexual harassment, theft, bribery, forgery, and fraud. Reviewing the comprehensive list prompts one to question whether this is a functioning state or a mafia like organized crime network. Expecting such lot to seek peace with neighbors, behave ethically, not commit war crimes or lie is fanciful.
  16. Exclusive: Nearly half of the Israeli munitions dropped on Gaza are imprecise ‘dumb bombs,’ US intelligence assessment finds | CNN Politics The sad image you have posted, along with numerous others like it on the internet, serves as evidence of the consequences when Israel employs dumb bombs with complete disregard for the safety of innocent civilians. Not sure who is dumb here, the bomb or the war criminal who use them in the first place.
  17. Palestinian Girl Killed in Israeli Attack on Maternity Ward (yahoo.com) This Palestinian girl, Donia Abu Mohsen 13 years old, was injured in a previous Israeli attack few weeks ago and had both legs amputated. Her mother, father and two brothers were also killed in the earlier attack, and Mohsen was seeking treatment at the Nassar hospital. She was killed yesterday as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted the medical complex. This hospital is now no longer operational. An innocent injured orphaned child was not safe even in her hospital bed. Despicable crime and utter injustice. Those with no humanity left in them would still come out fast and blame Hamas for this disgusting crime.
  18. Textbook IDF tactics. Immediate denial followed by shameless internal investigation not allowing third party or neutral involvement then months later, when the story dies down, IDF is cleared of any wrongdoing. However, if the crime happed to have been captured by any media outlet, IDF would issue a half-hearted apology wrapped up in some stupid excuse. Do you remember the case of Al Jazeera murdered journalist Shireen Abu Akleh? Google it.
  19. Keep bringing Hamas into every crime committed by the IDF is no longer works. Same goes to trying to link all IDF war atrocities to 7 October but ignoring everything that happened before that date. How one can blame Hamas when the IDF shoots a guy lying injured on the ground or a when a sniper kills 8 years old playing in front of his house?? The large number of such incidents indicate they are not isolated events.
  20. This incident is not an isolated event. A few weeks ago, in Jerusalem, an Israeli man, after successfully neutralizing two gunmen who had opened fire, was tragically shot dead by a soldier despite raising his hands in the air and removing his shirt to signal that he was unarmed. Even more alarming, those three hostages, who were unarmed, displayed a white flag, had their clothes removed, and shouted in Hebrew, were still fatally shot. It raises the question: What more can one do to avoid being shot by the Israeli army? Numerous video footage incidents, documented on the internet, depict soldiers shooting at children, disabled individuals, women, and even fatally shooting injured men lying on the ground. Such actions are simply war crimes and suggest a disturbing pattern of shoot-to-kill policies within the IDF.
  21. https://youtu.be/97bZzxm_5zM The Israeli ambassador in London has made it abundantly clear: opposing both a Palestinian state and a two-state solution. Yet, the Israelis talk about peace. Can genuine peace be achieved in the presence of such an extremist and racist mentality? Mahmood Abbas has long ago completely surrendered to Israel, actively pursuing Hamas, does not believe in resistance, fully cooperates with Israel and considered to be a traitor by the Palestinians, yet he is not good enough to have a peace with. It never happened throughout history that an occupying power withdrew from an occupied land by peaceful means and without any resistance.
  22. Hamas attack did not happen in a vacuum, it was in response to ongoing brutal inhumane occupation.
  23. Classic Morch at work. Sometimes you write half a thesis in reply about some trivial post but when you lose the argument and when faced with a powerful logic, you start calling people liars, ignorant, stupid, trolls etc. or trying to rubbish their compelling point of view, as you did here.
  24. Fateh/PLO softened their stand and therefore both became irrelevant and lost their popularity among the masses, and Hamas filled that vacuum. Give me one example where a resistance movement ever got freedom without a fight or an example of an occupying power feeling guilty and ending occupation as a gesture of good will :) :) :)
