Airline Requirements with Regard to Vaccinations
Dazauz replied to LongTimeLurker's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
When I left France for Thailand it was super heavy but you didn't need to be vaccinated. I was but, it was all about the pcr less than 72 hrs. But that was 1st July. Now it's changed but for myself I have the vaccinated passport on my phone. When I left bkk for Chiang Mai. Heavy checks but I was fine with 2 shots and fresh out of quarantine. Now I heard they are making it much harder, but as always probably depends on the airline. -
Thai Court rejects dual pricing case from expat in Hua Hin
Dazauz replied to webfact's topic in Hua Hin and Cha-Am News
I am 100% with everyone, we just had fights on here for the that posted for 47 bhat. Again I'll say the same thing it's about principal. Go into a national park lol we pay more, go here go there we pay more.. Few extra bhat I can understand but it's becoming the norm for farang to pay more and more. This guy in my eyes is great. He stood up. We also pay more fore insurance at the end of the day the insurance pays. That just makes eventually our insurance more expensive. Why are we not treated as locals. Pay tax, heath insurance etc etc I spend like a Thai. Seems these days it's not a fair system for us. Don't get me wrong I live Thailand but it's the people I love ok little food as well. The problem is the government has forgotten we still and will continue to contribute to community and the economy. My 2 cents -
OK all the negative messages aside, it's a move in a positive direction. 3 yrs ago we wouldn't even get that news. It's not in leaps and bounds but baby steps are in my own point of view better than nothing. It's just that we have become so synical of the law maybe it's us that should just take a step back from the sly remarks and see what happens. Just my 2 cents. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Dazauz replied to NorthernRyland's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You had to be in thailand before the 3rd of July. I got here on the 1st then just did my renewal. If you arrived before the 3rd you can just renew before the cut off date 30th Sept -

Yep as studies have proved. Seem the lazy way out in Thailand. I've been in the most effected areas and pool etc not a problem. People are the problem

Hello, let's look at the fact amd fiction. Since last summer in France I was working at the pool, dont ask me for the scientific research just Google. In brief it says the virus can not survive a properly keepet ph/cl pool. In France last year and this for eg the gyms closed pools were open for a certain number of people depending on pool size and surrounding area size. So ever indication is that the virus is only spread via, not keeping social distance and not wearing a mask. No one was forsed to wre a mask obviously therefore strong sociale distances required. To get back to the point ie: my condo in chiang Mai, pool open but I was <deleted> at the people in the gym lol not the people in the pool. Simply because they don't clean the weights etc because no cleaning things were provided. So I use another place. But pools should be open with a max number limited and controlled. All the information is calorine does kill the virus.
