Obviously, the police will continue to avoid entering any gated communities or private Moobahn areas in order to avoid being caught ignoring the crimes, drinking/dinner parties etc. just as they avoid entering any sois like ours, where there are at least 3 dozen ancient coaches spewing clouds of smoke that send all pedestrians running for cover coughing their guts out twice a day...

I wonder if they have more ability to collect such fines than they do with traffic fines.  Traffic tickets can be thrown in the trash wit complete impunity.  These probably can, too.    And if you have little ort no cash on you, you cannot be made to pay on the spot.  The whole mask business is a joke.  The crappy masks 90% of the people are wearing offer no protection.   It is all a dog and pony show to make the ignorant feel safer.

That is a 100% mark-up.  Other countries provide these vaccines as a public health service at no charge.  Not here.  They have money to "repair" roads that have nothing worn with them (Have any of you been noticing this?), they can buy tanks, they can buy submarines, but make people pay for a vaccine.   With 10 million ordered, they just might get caught out at that price.  I wonder if they will run a panicked fire sale on the expired doses.   So much greed/

I know plenty of "digital nomads" here.  What a bunch of nonsense.  None of them would have anything to do with this program.  They work from home, work for international concerns, use VPN's and are undetectable.  Actually, they work from wherever they wish -- maybe on a bus, on the beach or poolside.  

What a bunch of wishful horsepucky these folks keep coming up with.  it starts out sounding good, but once you get through all the conditions and red tape involved. nobody wit a brain would have any part of it.

If they can't come up with something that actually offers something, they should give it up.

This is a wonderful place to drive.  If you want to know what those fines would be in the USA, Conversion only requires putting a $ in front of the number.

I live in a rural Thai village filled with uneducated dolts (no disrespect intended).  They watch TV.  Some government nurse came through here pushing the Chinese vaccine not long ago and nobody wanted it.  Even the nurse pushing it announced that she would not get it.  I can promise you, these poeple may not be the brightest bulbs in the room, but they are not completely stupid either.  They are not going to want ANY vaccine produced in Thailand.  Everybody I have asked has said they would take Pfizer, Moderna or nothing.  If this country wants to get serious about vaccines, they need to stop monkeying around trying to grab quick profits and buy the Western vaccine.
