But carers allowance is only around 11k a year with maybe another 5k in other benefits so the maths dont add up. UK man with a disabled child and a thai wife thats 3 mouths to feed and their only income is around 16k, a UK working man with thai wife must earn 38k and only 2 mouths to feed. As for housing shortage you have to prove you have a place to live before they give you a visa so this cant be put forward as an argument, as the NHS I agree with the fees but only if it applied to everyone, as asylum seekers dont pay this they also dont pay Visa fees of 2k and refugees change their status to asylum seekers to avoid it, I worked in housing and there used to be 5% of available housing kept empty for the purpose of giving asylum seekers a place to live and with free rent but that 5% was never enough now they are put in hotels abd given food allowance of £29 a week The uk as gone now

I maybe wrong but isnt closing air space the first thing countries will do in any conflict that could escalate and isnt this the reason why other countries have sent military air to get their own people out ( apart from Thailand that is )

It will depend on which ed Visa you have if its to learn thai they will ask you a few easy questions in thai at the airport. If it's for cooking or something else if you have a letter from the school you should be ok, but they are revising the number of times you are allowed reentry 2 maybe 3 should have no problem

Well I never paid a single baht dowry , the dowry is just for show at the wedding so the family can more or less show off in front of naugbours and if a good family it is returned to the married couple after the wedding to help create a better start in life. I agree with you but only to some extent, to the bar girls it's just a job that pays well to support family back home and I think given the chance of a let's say office job with same salary they would jump at it, also bar girls make up around 0.00001% of thai women and they not all the same. Easy money for them. I did my tm30 and got 90 day notification even went back a week later to get papers for address notification for driving licence. 90 days later when due again I wasnt in the system and had to do tm30 again

They dont check at airports, 90 day notification is just used by local government offices. And even if you do late its 2000 baht or if get caught then 4000 baht but no black mark in passport.
