Thanks all for replying Currently I am on 30 day extension following a 45 day , next step I am applying for 60 day following wife extension and then finally 1 year extension/ marriage I went to the local immigration office last week to pre check for tm 30 The guy just laughed and couldn't be arsed to help , no one else in the office just us joke , Bangkok immigration much more helpful! My Mrs wants to report him Ha ha ???? So for the moment I have got my land lady to sign 5 tm30 forms so when ever I get back we can submit again Jeez paper work paradise ????

Guy's Renting house from Thai landlady She has given us signed copies of her I'd and tabian baan etc to use for TM 30 reporting! If I go to another area for a few days and stay in hotel, the hotel will submit TM 30 ok. When I return every time to house do I have to submit TM 30 again ? As on record last tm30 submitted would be hotel. I want to keep record straight for future visa extensions and marriage Extension etc . Thanks in advance Stix

Guys New car Being charged 5200 baht for red plate That's staying on car maybe 1 month Then they want 5000 baht for normal plate which is refundable. So red plate is costing me 5200 Does that sound correct. Thanks in advance

For clarification I have paid deposit Have receipt Bill of sale has deposit paid etc with red plate charges , accessories etc etc All accounted for So on day of final payment They want final balance being paid by cheque or transfer I would imagine. But out of the outstanding balance they want xxxxx amount in cash notes When questioned. Sales person said it was for showroom??? Party maybe ????

Marriage certificate was legalised first then certified by Thai Embassy London. Thanks for replying.

Guy's Married in UK Have marriage certificate with attached certification apostille stamp from Thai Embassy London. Agent is assisting with some of the running around. Agent is asking for me to go British Embassy to certify copies of marriage certificate/certified stamp / passport But I thought the marriage certificate has already been certified by Thai Embassy in London Can anyone confirm! This info I guess is needed for the agent to update wife's kor ror 22 Any guys recent experience Can give me the heads up. Thanks in advance.

Guys Couple of questions 1 Non o based on marriage Marriage certificate needed for application, we have marriage certificate no problem from UK , also guarantee stamp from Thai Embassy in UK attached to marriage certificate. Does the marriage certificate and stamped paperwork need to be translated ? Can this be done in a day or two Visa ? 2 is it easier to go to Sevanket Lao and apply their as I reading Bangkok immigration can be a chore and a half ! Thanks again in advance.

Moving to Thailand this year from UK with Thai wife I will be buying a car and have a few questions. Can I own a car with a marriage visa status ? Or is it better to buy in wife's name ? What's the best way to insure it . Thanks in advance.
