  1. I have never seen ghost. Many years ago I shared an apartment with a Japanese friend. The ghost didn't bother him but disturbed me. The ghost never manifested itself that's why I didn't see it.

When I was sleeping the ghost or whatever it was woke me up by knocking on the metal leg of my bed making quite a loud noise at about 3 or 4 am in the morning. Then even during the day it would make loud noise on ceiling like someone pounding the ceiling with a sledge hammer.

When I asked my Japanese housemate about the noise he said he didn't hear anything or anyone waking him up in the early morning.  He slept well in his own room. So only my room having all these problems.

After a couple of weeks I had enough I decided to move because it was affecting me mentally. I used to laugh at people who talked about ghosts but not now. There is something strange but then not all ghosts stories are true. Some people like to tell ghost stories to entertain you.

Thai cheating farang old news, Thai cheating Thai is news...

I guess when the Thai men run out of money they move on to cheat the farangs who have money. Life gets better as you move up the ladder.

It appears to me everybody is cheating everybody in this country called Thailand. Is it an illusion? Can somebody please tell me if it is really what is going on?

  3. Haven't noticed the small chest (note: not breast as OP said, it's the chest size).  Well, I will pay more attention the next time I shop at 7/11

I once told a french woman (after sex) that I think my manhood is kind of small.  She said, "it's that all that matters?   Love is not about having a huge dick she said.  She said of course if it is very tiny like the size of your thumb then it may a problem otherwise it's just your ego and your lack of knowledge about love and women. You need to change your thinking not the size of your manhood, she said.

So what's it got to do being related to an acting (actor)   ???? governor ?

You don't know? The governor has power to send you to prison for whatever reasons he thinks fit, even if it's a small matter like stealing a dog.

This is Thailand, the relatives of government officials do get all the assistance they request.  Is who you know gets things done. How long have you live in Thailand? Apparently not that long I guess, no offence meant ok?

So it's good to find out who your next door neighbors are if you are living in a Hi-So area, just in case. In many court cases you don't win against the Hi-So . They have the money they have the power, it's not about legal justice. Not only in Thailand also in other S.E. Asian countries too. Democracy? Legal justice? 555

  5. The mask gives you a false sense of security of course. You will only be protected in some limited ways . Let's imagine someone quite close in distance to you coughs or sneezes, those virus in the moisture are floating around and if you are not wearing a mask it immediately enters your nose or mouth, wouldn't it?

But what happen if you are wearing a mask? Then you can imagine those virus will settle on the mask itself- sticking around for few hours perhaps. Your chances of catching the virus is a number game now. Like you put your bets on the table in the casino. You won the first round because the virus didn't enter your nostrils or mouth directly.

Perhaps wearing masks help when people who are having the virus breathing out and the virus are not send into the open air directly. The virus are caught in the masks and stay there.

Because virus when air borne will definitely cause a lot of risks to others who are not wearing masks.

So I believe masks do help in some limited ways, of course it will not completely keep you safe., it's better to wear masks. Virus plays a number game. It needs a certain number of people for the virus to spread.

Human beings are not meant to live close together in high rise buildings : when that happens it will cause virus to spiral out of control. Too many people living too close together all the time is the problem, we haven't seen the worst yet.,  the worst would be 60 percent of the world population wipe out by virus. It is waiting to happen.

  6. A lot of parents are paying for the bikes. So if the government makes it expensive if you break the laws then it will solve the problem. You have to hit their wallet to make them pay attention. Words will go around the neighbourhood that the neighbour next door just lost 15,000 baht because the son took part in the illegal racing this will have a good impact and they will start to think. Bikes will be kept by the police until the penalty is paid. Bikes not redeem will be auction off and money goes to the police welfare coffer.

When you buy a bike a deposit of a certain sum(big sum something  like 15,000 baht) if you re found without the exhaust or took part in racing you lose your 15,000 baht deposit. After 2 years you have not broke the law then your deposit money will be refund to you. If you broke the law your insurance premium will go up 300 percent that will really make you think twice.

If you are above 40 years old you are not subject to these laws.

In neither the Sudan case nor the Egypt case was there any actual mandatory quarantine.

The Egyptian military guys were just staying unsupervised at a regular hotel, while the Sudan family were in a condo on Suk Soi 26...also unsupervised AFAICT.

Apparently the government is coming up with a new definition of what constitutes "quarantine".

You mean there is no officials calling at the place they reside to check on them at all? They should check on them every day. What so difficult? Just go there to make sure they are there not out shopping or going to meet friends.

  8. Who really cares if foreigners come back or not? Do the Thais really care ? Do the General Cares? If anybody cares about this country called Thailand it wouldn't be where it is today. Does that makes sense to you?

Do the average Thais especially those farmers in the countryside say, " Oh, we so worried if you lot don't come back, please come back".  Nobody, that means nobody cares a damn about this country.

Here's the real picture, the Hi-so , police, politicians all just make sure they get their cuts and If you asked any of these Hi-so or politicians whether they are worried that foreigners are not coming back to Thailand they would be kind of surprised that you should asked them such a question. Because they know that the young women, the beer, the cheap foods, the sunshine all year round are such an attraction how could anyone resist. They are more worried about their bank balance and the stock market. They have put in place everything to attract these foreigners to come to spend their money in Thailand.

The average Thais slough their guts out for peanuts- do they really think about foreigners coming to Thailand? How much do they get paid? I am talking about the working class here, and they make up a large percentage of the population.

The average Thais says, foreigners are welcome to enjoy their holidays in Thailand. Karp, karp, sawadee karp. See they are so polite, how could you not like their hospitality? They don't really see the economic picture of the country - this is where the problem lies. If you are addressing them on this issue they are not so interested because they more worried their daughter school fees to pay, money for their vehicle petrol and so on, whether foreigner coming back or not is not in the picture really.

The truth is nobody really concerned or worried if foreigners not coming back to Thailand.

Let's put it this way, the people who are supposed to be concerned are not concerned at all.

I must say that they are quite clever. Of course they do not want arrogant "I have money and own the world foreigners", and the virus have given them the tool to say that in another way. Not saying that all foreigners that comes to Thailand are this way, but unfortunately a great amount behaves with a very bad attitude. I do believe that´s a big part of many Thais way of looking at foreigners coming back to Thailand or not.

Hello Matzzon, you said, "Not saying that all foreigners that comes to Thailand are this way, but unfortunately a great amount behaves with a very bad attitude".

I would say only a small number behave badly not like you said a great amount. Do Farangs know that just their body size alone is intimidating? Imagine some one taller than you stare down at you and when he raises his voice he could be very frightening.

On the top of that the language barrier compounds the problem. So if you have problems you start to talk loudly it could very easily be misinterpret as a threat when no threat is intended.

I believe there in lies the problems that Thais may think you are intimidating. I believe the Thais also think that: "This is my country you behave well no matter what or else we will teach you a lesson". Of course not all think like that, especially educated Thais wouldn't think like that but the rough character and badly educated ones will think like that.

How are you doing in your home country? That will give you a clue how you will do to find a good girl instead of a prostitute.

Mr FritsSikkink, you are right in many sense of the word. Yeah, we often repeat our mistakes over and over sometimes completely unaware of it. We may even thought we have changed.

So do contemplate on what FritSikkink said. How do you treat women in your home country? Do you have problems with relationship with them?

"WOW! that man with the doll and his butt showing, really never seen anything like this in my 60 years of life I must say"

I think he actually went swimming and couldn't find the life-buoy in his home so he just took the doll and use it as a life buoy- ah well, it will save his life if an undercurrent pull him out to the ocean wouldn't it?

you sound like a badly beaten and abused dog.  You sound so desperate.  Western women h as ve destroyed you.   once you get Asian fever and meet some quality  ones you wont consider a Western  woman again. You think this is just a quick  emotionless transaction.   I guess it is if you watch  those bride service videos.   Are you the type who goes to the car dealer  amd buys a new car from the first  dealer on the first day?  If so I cant help you.

I think a person needs to be happy inside, confident,  before he can find a similarly matching woman.   10 years younger is a good goal and acceptable in most western countries.   Right now you're only worthy of a bargirl vacation.  Get your mind in a better place before you pick a wife. What have you been doing for  16 years?  why do you  need a woman  now.  Just remember a quality thai woman wont want a man who has used the  sex services available in Thailand.   It will be bad enough that they know you  met other Quality women.   get on TF or TCupid dating sites.  join Line app.  list your specifications,  aim high.  Say hi to 100 and  reply to  those that say hi,  toss out the ones who show sexy pictures the first day, and those  who cant communicate.   with today's  translation apps no excuse.   TTalk is a good one. keep talking to 20 of the best, whittle that down to 5 and talk serious with them,  good girls will be quite  conservative but in time they will show swim suit pictures,  if not they are not happy with their body and you wont be either.  take a month long trip when or if travel  is allowed and meet them all.  they will accept this and even get you on the right bus for your next appointment.

be real careful!  because you seem like a real fool at this women game.

Play this right  and you will soon forget your 18 yr old memory.

Hello there, yes, you (elkski) your advice seem the most sensible one on this topic.

But calling people a badly beaten and abused dog is not a nice thing to do.
