I just reread the post at no point did he say his Mrs was with the BIB so are you one of these who gets too carried away and starts to add a few twists to the story. I miss the cinema too but this is ridiculous

She is just venting in the heat of the moment. Unless you got proper concerns relax. If your kid is with her then you must trust her somewhat and this is not as serious as it's being made out to be.

Feel for the OP have not read all the rants but if someone realised this chap likely wants to be here but given the situation he is in a rock and a hard place. Give his Mrs a break it may be her first child or and she may be alone or she could just be getting rubbish advice from professionals and don't pretend that never happens here.

I was put on the BC with none of that. Maybe a passport but I opted to have his surname as his mother's family name, not mine. (Adopted, stepfather name, no chance) I think there may be a few benefits to that Thai name too if he stays in Thailand.

One of the issues that could organically change things for China is the internet. The internet has made a big error and consumers are not actually aware where a product is produced at point of purchase. 

Should be Law about it ensuring consumers know where item comes from at point of purchase. If consumers were more aware sellers would automatically factor their products origin assortment and it would create a new purchasing factor and create more interest in other countries products.

Lazada do this to an extent already by ensuring buyers know goods ship from China.

How can you blame Thais for this given there is a big expat community there?

If the expats with business's there grouped together I am sure they could afford to front a team of rubbish collectors to maintain the area. Thais would see this initiative and likely get involved.

I don't see why people are getting mad at this, this is actually the first time where people don't need to worry about doing visa runs every 90 days. There hasn't been a better time to be in Thailand than right now.

It's not a nice situation at all actually. Just knowing you have limited time here with no actual process to get a valid visa is really worrying. 

Happens a lot but also happens the other way round.

I purchased 52 packs of milk and the cashier twice counted the milk and stated 50. She spoke good English looked like a student I did tell her I thought it was 52. Anyway I see the packing format is 16 to a bag so confirm all same and there's 4 cartons left so they believed me in the end.

Happens all the time the short change crew but it happens to thais much much more in my opinion.

It would be good just to know a few of these options just as a precautionary measure but no one has ever asked me for Jack.
