  1. 5,000 baht + 7 days suspended license clap2.gifclap2.gifclap2.gifclap2.gif they should've canceled his drivers license, he is a danger to all motorists and passengers!

That's the problem right there eh, no real deterrent for these muppets, not only for driving badly but for every law that's broken in this country, its one of the reasons its in such a state.
Yeah and even if they tale away his license and Van he can probably drive and try ti kill other people, this kind of drivers and drunk drivers should not be allowed to operate any motorized vehicle or a bicycle for that matter Lol
  2. Hi all, Im sure this has been asked already before but I can't find it in the forum, hope you can help me, I tried to look into the immigration website but nothing comes up, We are both foreign parents working in Thailand, we would like to know the updated requirements (from our company) for extending our (non Thai)daughter's Non O visa for 1 year, using agents are too expensive so we would do ourselves instead.

    Thank you in advance.

Anything you can add to this please .. wai.gifwai.gif Thank you!

  3. Hi Jonny you have done it before so is there any problem going into cambodia and coming back into Thailand with your bike? duty and tax? or clearances needed? Me and my Bro are planning to join the bike for kids on Dec 6 thanks!

While I've never used the specific border crossing you will be using, I've entered Thailand approx 40 times with a bike. Sometimes by land, other times by air and only once was I ever questioned and that was when I flew in with a boxed bike. they asked if it was new. I said no and they didn't bother to look. (It wasn't new; it was a week old and had been ridden once.)

So if your bike is obviously used, there's no duty, no tax, no paperwork, and no problems.

    Thank you sir!

  4. We left for Vietnam last Wednesday to get Visa for my 8 and 14 year old both overstayed from 2010,Immigration lady informed that if she was 15 she couldve been penalized and in addition to that she warned us about our 8 year old daughters' visa that the parents will have to pay for the overstays under new visa rules as soon as it takes effect. So I decided to get her a visa just in casethumbsup.gif

  5. Getting Non-O for my 2 daughters 8 years old and 14 years old, we decided to get the visa for my 8 year old before the rules changes again and before my daughter turns 15 years old in 3 weeks, I was told by immigration when we left for Bangkok while sorting out their overstays ( NO PENALTIES below 15), she said the rules have changed and they "might" penalize the parents as the parents should be responsible of their children's visa, so we decided to get one for my 8 year old too. Anyway applying for Visa at the Thai embassy Ho Chi Minh is like a walk in the park, we took the first flight to HCM from Bangkok arrived at 9.30 we arrive at the embassy at 11.00, showed all documents and they didn't even bother to look at everything (i forgot to sign my documents, work permit passport etc.) Paid 160 U$ and said to come back tomorrow at 1.30pm, we were out of the embassy by 11.30 just in time for lunch. We got their passports following day with out a problem. The embassy was so the opposite of the other embassies I have been to which were so crowded thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif clap2.gif
