You seem to be spouting this as a good thing?

Somchai Wongsawat still laughing after landing the PM job for only 75 days. That's longer than Liz Truss at least.

officers stumbled upon the Colorful Hut eatery, owned by a Russian national, known only by the name Boris.
Stumbled? Were they drunk? Not a mention of how Boris is able to run a business as a Russian either? Who were the Thai partners?

Most all of my money is kept in America, where it's safe. I cannot set up automatic credit card payments here.
You said you were losing foreign cards at Thai ATMs and asked for solutions. Send the money from your US banks to your Bangkok Bank and use Thai ATM cards or cardless? What's wrong with that idea? You won't need to stick a foreign card in a Thai ATM again.

Losing. a debit card is a nightmare because of the length of time that it takes to get here and the only other option is expensive wire transfers. All suggestions appreciated.
Why are you using foreign debit cards in Thai ATM machines when you already have a Bangkok Bank account? Use Thai cards or go cardless in Thailand seems simpler all around? That's worked well for me for as long as I remember at least?

I'm sure Thailand can afford the influx they helped create by supporting the murderous junta to plunder that nations natural resources so many years.

How does it reflect badly on you? Have you been prone to similar antics?

Met many Swiss , my best friend is Swiss he won’t tolerate this behavior from his fellow countryman
What has being Swiss got to do with any of this? The news is about the appalling actions of a man who has problems. Nationality has nothing to do with it.

I have been driving this route for the past 35 years and don't recall ever driving it when they were not constructing something new on it with shading looking contractors and traffic chaos. Its not rocket science to know where all the funds are being directed on this, and its not in the direction of motorists. A shame for the whole southern Thailand as its the only reasonable road way there from Bangkok, going via the northern Ratchaburi route is worse still.

Thailand's actions are at odds with the principles of international law and the global response to Russia's aggression. 'nuff said.

And I got what I wanted, 2 companies will come audit the condo next week and suggest/propose solutions so maybe a smarter move than you think.
Good luck with the audit. Our condo has so far resisted the installation of EV chargers on lower floors where the car parks are located as the number of EVs is less than 5% of total cars. There is also no fire suppression systems and monitoring in place to quickly detect and respond to any potential hazards from any unstable EV batteries in cars. Occupants prefer cars to be refueled at fuel stations away from homes for both ICE and EVs.

Using AI images in a news story like this is unforgivable. I expect the name of the author is AI generated as well. How much of the news is real?

I knew from the start that they would not allowed that but I did it to see their reaction.
So you stole electricity off them to get a reaction? Not a smart move.
Why not charge your car at recharging stations like ICE vehicles do? There aren't enough charging points or its not convenient? Oh well, buy an ICE instead and get off your high horse.

What is the joke?
If you've ever been on a dual carriageway in the UK you would understand.
You mean Brits on dual carriageways cannot do math like the guy who made the image? The truck on the right should be 8 miles behind in the second photo?

I did notice that DNS at 1.1.1.1 be being blocked for a while, not sure why but changing to 8.8.8.8 fixed those problems.
OK thanks all.. rebooted rooter and tried different DNS's .... still something not right since Saturday. It works but buffering like heck from multiple TV sources for certain channels and other channels OK... will persevere...

Anyone using NT Fiber (formerly TOT) and noticed live streamed TV channels not getting through since Saturday? Tried it on more than one device with/without VPN to no avail. Something going on? May have to set up a new internet provider and test that?

What do you call and how old are you? Laptop is still the preferred generic term no matter what the size, date of production or age of the user.

The funds should not be in Thailand already. That’s the point of transfer from ones country to ones Thai bank account and show as coming from abroad.
But Wise uses a kind of decentralized network of banks so the funds you receive from overseas seem to come from a local bank in Thailand that is on their network of banks, to reduce their costs. That's what I see on my KBank international money in transfers from Europe, they appear as local transfers on the bank statement no matter what description I put on Wise web site when initiating the tx.

But as said credit advise slips can be obtained as well as Wise paperwork and this is normally accepted by immigration.
So Wise paperwork with a (Kbank) bank book that shows only domestic wires are accepted by immigration?
