  1. Guys, some of you must have missed the thread title - two pages of no answers at all. He wants a new laptop, not tips of installing RAM, SSDs on ancient CPUs or Linux on aging CPUs. He can buy a new laptop cheap as chips these days. FWIW I was running Linux on a 10 year old Intel CPU laptop, and whilst it works, it cannot surf the net, YouTube or do graphics as well as the chips are too old. Get a new PC and no it does not need to be a Mac.

devastating bus crash earlier this week in Prachuap Khiri Khan, local officials are stepping up efforts to bolster road safety measures

The bus was scheduled to travel from Bangkok-Nathawi which must take at least 12 hours of which only 90 minutes would be spent passing through Prachuap Khiri Khan province, so how can local officials organize the mitigation of these disasters?

Can anyone tell me how this is done, i.e. do you have to go through a specific bank or broker, what paperwork do they want to see to open an account etc.

Do you actually have a bank account outside Thailand that isn't Wise or similar? In either case you can open an international account at any online broker overseas using usual KYC documents as mentioned in a matter of hours/days. Fund it with your bank and return profits to any bank as needed. Its easier if the bank is outside Thailand also, but a Thai bank that does international transfers out/in should work also.
