  2. I never used a re-enter permit before, how does one work, you apply they give you a stamp for a re-enter permit, you leave Thailand, and when return would they know automatically that you have a re-enter permit or you have to tell them you have it?
  3. the border is called Ban Pakkad Border Checkpoint, it is in Pong Nam Ron District
  4. this happened to me before at the same border, refused to stamp me out and told me that I had done it 2 times already and to go to Bangkok and get 90 extensions, end up paying 500bht for them to stamp me out.
  5. when it comes to negative problems most Karen here are as toxic as a monkey behind overstay is bannable but that doesn't mean you will get banned, it all depends, get yourself an agent and let them deal with it, don't try to do it yourself, if you want to take a risk head to the airport, pay your fine and hope for the best, either way, they will send you on your way home.
  6. I was thinking about this, what are the consequences of doing this other than paying 2k
  7. I don't mind doing the yearly thing, but the 90 days are absurd, I know it's easy to do but it makes you feel like a criminal, reporting to your parole officer every 90 days
  8. for all you Karan, he made it home just fine in fact he is already back in Bangkok with a visa, overstay is bannable but it does not mean you will get banned, the catch is with good reason and an understanding IO no ban is needed.
  9. I saw this topic has popped up again and I would like to finalize it, we use this agent company, I won't mention their name, they are a legal firm but also an agent, quite famous you can google it, we head down to immigration to turn himself in, with their help and a good reason why he overstays for that long, I didn't care what reason it was or tactic they use as long as they get it done, they fine him with the full amount and gave him a 14 days extension to leave the country to get a proper visa, he will be leaving going back home in two days, and can return with exempt or visa, I don't condone anybody to overstay.
  10. the world will end when every single booger in this forum is dead and gone
  11. when you are upbringing in an uneducated environment, your thought and thinking is muddy, you don't have a basic understanding of what is right and wrong and these girls' moral has not developed enough to know it is wrong.
  12. sometimes a lawyer can do miracles if at the right price
  13. when people talk too much and ask too many, you will give them ideas to implement the rule strictly, as of now they only follow the rule to the extent of their knowledge, but if you keep asking them if must it be seasonal, they will question themself did we do it right and will make it difficult for everybody
  14. good suggestion, I will keep that in mind when the time comes
  15. he asked his older brother for help back in the States, I also became best friends and close friends with his brother, and his brother asked me for a favor to help him, yes overstay is always about money, no she is not a bar girl, she is from the countryside, I'm talking to a lawyer now see if they can do anything to help even if need to give lunch money, worst comes to worst I will drive him to the airport and take care of thing at the airport, i think best is to turn in at airport rather then any other place.
  16. I will be buying him a plane ticket home and also give him the fine money, the chance he will not get ban is slim it's an idea, at this point, it doesn't hurt to try
  17. I met a friend about 3 years ago he just contacted me asking for help about overstaying in Thailand, I asked him how long he had overstayed and he told me roughly a year, I was about to tell him to go to immigration but realized it was a bad idea, but instead head for the airport and pay the fine and leave, as many posters had suggested in other topics about overstay, did I gave him the right advice?, problem 2 he said he meet a girl and fall in love, he doesn't want to leave and can't come back, if he pays the fine and leaves at an airport what is the chance that they let him leave without banning him so he can return with proper visa, would they let him leave without black listing him, any advice you all can give me how to deal with this. can an agent help with this problem?
  18. no, I know I can get a 60-day extension but just want to know if I can get a 1yr extension with that 60-day extension
  19. I have a multiple non-o visa marriage and I'm on my last entry, I will apply for a 1yr marriage extension in Thailand, at the moment i don't have enough funds, will transfer funds from abroad to meet the requirement, my problem is the money need to sit for 60 days, I will extend another 60 days after my visa run out, can I do a 1yr marriage extension in Thailand on that 60 days extension?
  20. for the last 2 months, the electric bills seem to come down much to normal price, not like the 3rd previous when it went crazy high, I live in a house with full use of everything, have 3 A/C, 2 are running 24/7, washer, dryer, etc., and my bill came out around 5k, your 7k bill seems to be on the high side, is your A/C super old which can cause a high electric bill too. from what you said with that price maybe somebody is siphoning your electricity, it shouldn't be that high
  21. if one lives in Thailand with a Thai address, we send the application to the U.S. embassy by mail, do they send your passport back by mail to your Thai home address?
