  1. So, only for ‘Thai citizens ‘ ?
  2. I thought this problem was handed over to the Thai Air Force . Not working ?
  3. But I thought they had introduced measures ( police in hi-vis jackets ) to stop all road accidents . What happened that ?
  4. I’ve been living/visiting for 50 years and I never once saw a census official . How do they make up these figures ?
  5. Stop this silly numbers game and get out there to clean up the rubbish and the sea water
  6. I thought TAT had already sewn up the million of quality tourists from the Arab world, India and China. Didn’t come ? Better ask why .
  7. What’s this obsession with just numbers ?
  8. Long gone
  9. That’s it then, all sorted. Plus the high vis vests
  10. But only yesterday the RTP bought new high viz vests to ‘ensure safety ‘. What went wrong ?
  11. Oh well, TAT was chasing ‘quality tourists’. They got them !
  12. I eat it regularly here in Hua Hin. Tastes fine to me.
  13. But they missed the part about the height of the waves in the Andaman Sea ! I really look forward to that always ????
  14. Is this the most unreliable meteorological office in the world ?
  15. I actually don’t know what it means to be hungry. All in my family have a nerve missing in the stomach which is meant to send a message to the brain that it’s hungry. So, I can go days without eating and feel nothing, I only eat because I know I should eat. I’m 10 stone….same as I was in 1968.
  16. I have been there. Better you do a tour of all the islands….Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea and Papeete. They are exceedingly beautiful but there’s not much to do. The critical factor is that water is in short supply because of its remote location, therefore ‘development’ , as we know it, cannot take place. But well worth the visit.
  17. Not really. We had two, they’re now in storage.
  18. Billd766's earlier reply to u links directly to these sticks....just scroll down
  19. I've spent my life collecting such sticks all over the world on my travels and Thailand is the most 'stickless ' country I've seen ! For ur info - these sturdy sticks pictured ( below ) on Lazada are available in JJ Market for about THB 200. I've bought three there. Also the Daiso shops in Thailand sell perfectly good sticks - cheap and cheerful - for THB 60. I've got a load of Daiso ones.
