  1. I have relationships with social equals (or superiors) that do not require the exchange of compensation for time spent. As such, I do not understand your crisis. Best of luck. Have you tried discussing this with your family?
  2. You are making demands based upon imagined facts. The USA DOES NOT pay for the majority of the NATO budget, nor is the USA saddled with doing most of the work. Your demand that the USA only provide 1/32 of the budget is illogical and would require the other NATO members to subsidize the USA . Your argument ignores the fact that the USA requires open access to the world's shipping lanes, and transportation corridors over which it imports and exports. The USA also requires stable economies with which to trade. If the USA does not have markets to sell to, the USA will quickly die. The NATO budget is based upon GDP and reflects the benefits each economy derives from access to the markets protected. The USA pays roughly the same proportion of the NATO budget as Germany despite being significantly larger than Germany. Europe as a whole provides much of NATO's budget. The USA wishes to have influence around the world. One of the way it achieves this is through military might. The Gulf Arab nations would not purchase the billions of USD in military hardware and services unless there was a US presence. The USA could not dictate international financial policies and diplomatic positions unless it had a worldwide presence. If the USA loses that presence and footprint, its economy which is trade driven will collapse. 3. GA, AZ - Republican. NC will remain Republican. PA will just barely remain Democrat. WI, NV and MI will remain Democrat NY will remain Democrat. 276 Electoral Votes for Harris 262 Electoral votes for Trump If Harris can keep GA, she can lose PA with her still having 273 electoral votes to 265 votes for Trump. Democrat strategy must now emphasize PA and GA. The black voters delivered Georgia to the Democrats last election and the community must come out to vote this election. As black women are more likely to vote then men, the chatter of black male support for Trump may be just that - talk. The Democrat party machine must be full on out if Harris is to keep PA. Has Harris not replaced Biden, Trump would be in a well padded lead.
  4. Try being honest. Rogan does not deny that he is not a journalist, and that he does not comply with the ethical requirements of a journalist. He is first and foremost an entertainer offering his personal opinions. His comments and statements should be taken in that context. Trump made 32 false claims during his talk with Rogan, and none were challenged by Rogan. Rogan says that was not his responsibility. Fine, but this is why he is not a credible journalist, nor analyst. Rogan is in the entertainment business. he comes from a dysfunctional family and has little attachment or empathy for anyone. it is all about making money and having influence, status. He will say and do what he eeds to do to make money. That's fimne too, but it must be kept in mind when listening to his comments.
  5. It is most certainly racist. How is it different than starting a thread on Negro penis dimensions? It is as ignorant and stupid as that, and serves only to provide a platform for the usual bigots. You don't pay attention do you? The majority of Israelis are "Mizrahi", i.e. having originated in region first colonized and then occupied by Islamic people. Much of the population went to Israel after they were forced out of their former homes in Arab countries. In the case of the Ethiopians and Yemen populations, Israel paid large sums for their freedom. Others were given 72 hours to leave and their assets seized. It is an inconvenient truth most Arabs will ever acknowledge and one that none of the western protestors will evr admit because it destroys the false narrative of palestinian victimhood.
  6. You really want to promote your blood libel don't you? Is your motive real hatred, or are you just trolling or are you really this ignorant? The United States Congress of 1913 established the Federal Reserve Bank system. I think one would be hard pressed to find more than a handful of jewish faith members of that period. The Federal Reserve Bank was created to respond to mass panic in 1907 which lead to a run on financial institutions. The first incident occurred on October 16, 1907, when two minor speculators, F. Augustus Heinze and Charles W. Morse, suffered huge losses in a failed attempt to corner the stock of United Copper, a copper mining company traded on the curb. They had secured funding from small local Trust companies, primarily the Knickerbocker Trust, who's president was, Charles T. Barney, an associate of Mr. Morse. None of these people was Jewish. Once the relationship of Knickerbocker was publicized, there was a run on Knickerbocker Trust. The National Bank of Commerce extended credit to Knickerbocker Trust to cover the depositor withdrawals. This bank then requested a loan from the New York Clearing House on the behalf of Knickerbocker Trust. The Clearing House denied the request because its resources were reserved for the support of its member institutions. Knickerbocker and most other trust companies in New York were not members. After this denial, a request for aid was made to J.P. Morgan. He asked Benjamin Strong, then a vice president at Banker’s Trust and later the first head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, to examine Knickerbocker’s books and determine its financial condition. Strong could make no definitive determination of Knickerbocker’s solvency. Morgan therefore refused to aid the trust. Also on October 21, Knickerbocker’s Board of Directors dismissed Barney on the basis of his personal connections to Morse. The National Bank of Commerce then announced that it would no longer act as Knickerbocker’s clearing agent. Following these announcements, the run on Knickerbocker intensified. The next day, after depositors had withdrawn nearly $8 million, it suspended operations. The suspension of Knickerbocker Trust sparked the full-scale financial crisis in New York City. The runs on deposits spread among the trusts and were most intense at the Trust Company of America. Morgan changed his mind and quickly released aid, as did the New York Clearing House banks. However, depositors continued to withdraw funds from Trust Company of America for two more weeks. An upward spike in the call money interest rate — the rate of interest on overnight loans on stock collateral offered at the New York Stock Exchange — was among the first signals of distress and tightening credit. On the day Knickerbocker closed, October 22, the annualized rate jumped from 9.5 percent to 70 percent, then to 100 percent two days later. At times, there were no credit offers at that rate. The New York Stock Exchange remained open largely because of the legendary actions of Morgan, who solicited cash from large financial and industrial institutions and then had it delivered directly to the loan post at the exchange to support brokers who were willing to extend credit. After an unusual delay of five days, the New York Clearing House Committee met on Saturday, October 26, and formed a panel to facilitate the issuance of clearing-house loan certificates. These were the predecessor to discount window loans from the Federal Reserve System and provided a temporary increase in liquidity. On the same day, the New York Clearing House banks — those institutions central to the payment system — chose to restrict the convertibility of deposits into cash. This action severed the par exchange rate between deposits and cash, thereby leading to a cash premium and a substantial influx of gold imports from abroad. Those gold imports appear to have been instrumental in spurring the recovery of the New York City financial market. No jews were involved or otherwise implicated.
  7. The beach in HH is not bad. It may not be a beautiful as Karon in Phuket, but it is lightly populated, clean and very walkable. The best swimming in the HH area is at the Pines beach at the military golf course, hotel and military holiday villa location. The beach here is often deserted and very swimable. Living inside the city is convenient. Everything is walkable or within reach by 15 satang sangthaew or 100 baht tuk tuk ride. I like being able to pop down to Villa or Tops whenever I want to. Bluport supermarket is nice because of its plentiful parking. Yes, the retail prices are slightly higher than Pattaya, but then the products are not the usual cheap quality and one doesn't have to battle the hawkers occupying every major street. HH's best feature for the older person are its easy access to health care, an immigration office and soon its high speed rail option. It offers quality dining at a much more affordable cost than Samui or Phuket. Best of all it is a higher end socio demographic. The key word is convenience. Everything is closeby. And no the beach is not deplorable. It is still superior to much of what is on offer elsewhere. best of all, no jet ski thugs.
  8. The jews do not run the US banking system. They never have, and have in fact were historically blocked from senior positions in the banking industry. Obviously you are unaware of the nature of banking in the USA, since most of the multi-state banks in the USA are publicly owned, which means ownership by the general public, by pension and investment funds. Historically, the most accomplished jewish people have come from cultures which encouraged everyone to achieve. One of the reasons why so many jewish scientists were European nationalities was because there were advanced universities that they could attend, albeit subject to quotas. The Middle east did not have a culture of education and advancement. Israel has invested heavily in its educational system. It is a lesson now copied by several Gulf States. The Iranians too had a tradition of education, but that ended with the creation of the Islamic Republic. Science does not do well in a vacuum, Many brilliant scientists are also gifted musicians and artists. Cultures which do not value music or art do not advance. They stagnate and regress. The European Renaissance was a time of new ideas both in science and the arts. The Islamic world still awaits such a change in its culture. The jews who have come from cultures where freedom and opportunity is respected and enabled, have flourished. It is why they super achieved once they arrived in the USA and to a lesser extent Canada, South Africa and Australia. In the USA, despite the inherent prejudice, they were free of the oppressive bigotry of Europe and had opportunities. Cultures which encourage fun and personal happiness enable scientific brilliance and western culture does this.
  9. The codes you refer to do not appear on the receipts issued by airlines such as Air Asia, or Thai Lion. If the codes neither appear, nor the charges explained to the consumer, how do you expect the typical passenger to know? I provided an example direct from the booking page of Thai Air Asia. Insisting that I am "wrong" does not change the reality which is that the charges are not itemized which precludes the consumer from knowing what all of the fees and charges are for.
  10. The Israeli victims of Gazan rape and sexual violence has been documented. Are you saying it is a lie because the women are Israeli? The trafficking of Yazidi children to be used as sex slaves has been documented. The most recent liberation occurred a week ago. As you won't accept Israeli sources, will the Qatari Al jazeera suffice? https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/10/4/yazidi-woman-rescued-from-gaza-10-years-after-being-taken-captive-by-isil
  11. I would too. Rogan has been implicated in too many false claims that he has never acknowledged were false. Why should she boost his ratings anyway, as his listeners are not open to considering the Democrat policy policies or voting for the Democrats. Candidate Harris' time is better spent at an event that targets her potential voters.
  12. I don't think Jordan was too happy with that as it is a violation of its airspace. This can lead to an angry response, and yes I know Jordan is not in a position to stop it, but the Jordanians have been helpful, shooting down Iranian and Hezbollah launched missiles when they violate Jordanian airspace.
  13. Where did the 350 years come from? It is a absolutely ridiculous number and looks like it was intended to justify sending more money to further bloat the billions of Euro Hamas has in EU, Turkish and Qatari banks. For a land so impoverished, Hamas was able to build a US $500 million real estate portfolio however, fund a military of thousands equipped with rockets and drones and build a vast web of tunnels under Gaza. Estimates of its annual military budget range from US$100 million to US $350 million. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/gaza-plagued-poverty-hamas-no-shortage-cash-come-rcna121099 I doubt that your propaganda is convincing anyone here. Maybe you can ask the Hamas leadership in Qatar to share their wealth? The cumulative net worth of Hamas’s top leaders abroad is estimated at $11 billion, and they do not hide their taste for the high life https://nationalpost.com/news/world/israel-middle-east/hamas-money
  14. I don't know what the purpose of the missile firing was unless it was to demonstrate the IDF ability for pinpoint accuracy against specific military targets, unlike the Hezbollah Iranian missiles which are fired indiscriminately at civilian targets. Based upon the limited response and restricted targets, it looks like the Gulf States and the USA kept Israel from laying waste to Iran. Turning down the violence isn't a bad thing.
  15. Sketchy litigation coming from a "physician" who specializes in the treatment of "headaches". Not mentioned is that the restaurant specializes in spicy hot dishes and is known for those dishes. Lawsuit is blaming a worker for adding too many peppers to the dish. Walia claimed the chicken-based dish "scalded her vocal cords and esophagus with fiery flavors “unfit for human consumption . For reference sake, her medical diploma was awarded at Ross University School of Medicine, a private, for-profit medical school, in Barbados. Until 2019, the university's main campus was in Portsmouth, Dominica. RUSM is owned by Adtalem Global Education Inc. a for profit business entity.
  16. No I am not "wrong".You are using an airline ticket that is not issued in Thailand. You have missed the point, that airline tickets issued in Thailand by some carriers obscure the airline charges. In Thailand, airlines are allowed to declare a lump sum. It is a practice long ago stopped in Australia, USA, UK and EU. It is deceitful for an airline to present all of the charges, taxes and fees as a lump sum. This gives the impression that all of the charges do not originate with the airline. If I go to the Air Asia website and put in a basic DMK-KUL-DMK itinerary, it returns the following; Base fare USD 106.24 , Taxes, fees & surcharges USD 78.03, Add-ons USD 14.85, Total Amount USD $199.17 If a bag, seat and meal are selected, the add on cost increases to $110.89 with a total of $295.02 The charge for airport and taxes is unchanged. The invoice does not include a description of how the add on total is calculated. Here's where the issues arise; i. Part of the add on cost is not requested by the passenger and is a negative option purchase, meaning that if not specifically rejected, is automatically charged. (This is not allowed in many jurisdictions, particularly those which forbid abusive selling practices) ii.- The tax is not shown as a separate line item -The passenger immigration fee is not shown as a separate item -The separate visitor fee is not shown as a separate item. -Sometimes an airline fuel surcharge is included but not declared as such I provided the line split that is shown when an airline ticket is issued outside of Thailand; For reference sake, my round trip on TG to Tokyo next month is invoiced with these charges in Thai baht; Advance Passenger Processing User Charge 68 International Arrival & Departure Fees 30 Passenger Service Charge - Thailand(TS) 728 Some Thai airlines do not include this split in their invoicing. Nor do they specifically declare their own add on costs, other than as a total amount. This is why it is misleading. It's like advertising round trip airfares to KUL for 500 baht, without declaring the airline surcharges, fees and taxes.
  17. Not technically feasibile unless all links are blocked. My friends and I I regularly send each other links; Links to address/map locations, reservations at restaurants or hotels, meeting/appointment dates, Team Meeting links, Instagram photos etc. The government can't expect that it will block this. Some of us are lost without a proper map reference.
  18. You listen to groups only when they support your political position. IT is termed bias confirmation. You criticize my statement that there is hardship in Gaza. Ok, so is your position then that it is a Hamas sponsored party? The men get to indulge their sexual violence on Israeli hostages and Yazidi slave girls trafficked in from Iraq? Aid is being sent in to Gaza. You ignore the fact that Hamas takes what it wants for its personnel and their families. The Gazans get the rest. However, much of the remaining aid is stolen by the Gazans. ask Hamas and the local officials how everything is available on the black market. The gazans can go back to being morbidly obese and sitting around fornicating, popping out children at one of the highest rates in the world. Until then, they can suffer the consequences. It was Gaza that attacked Israel, so boo hoo.
  19. To clarify, this comment was not directed at the person who provided his fare summary. It was about the airline practice trying to pass its own surcharges and fees without a clear description.
  20. Food aid has entered. Hamas typically takes it for its personnel and their families. Last week, 50 trucks carrying aid entered the north of the Gaza strip. It is up to Gaza to distribute the food fairly. Georgios Petropoulos - head of the UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Gaza - admitted to the the BBC that organised criminal gangs operating in Gaza were active, with many aid drivers reporting being robbed while transporting food and shelter items. These crime groups also participated in the October 7 attack on Israel in hopes of obtaining hostages that they could ransom off. Yes, there is hardship, but it is the intended objective of Hamas. The more suffering that can be shown, the greater the pressure can be brought on Israel. The US and EU positions are in large part political posturing to appease their own voter base. The US administration needs the Arab vote in Michigan and has to talk tough on issues like this to show that they care, The reality is that no one really cares about the Gazans. Not the western hand wringers, and certainly not the leadership of Hamas who cavort in their luxury villas in Qatar with their US$11 billion of funds siphoned off from aid donors.
  21. Allowing Hezbollah to build tunnels including , command and control bunkers and munitions storage either under or in close proximity to UN positions, in effect using the UN facilities as cover was not in their tasks either, and yet they allowed it. How could they miss the construction activity or the foot traffic?
  22. Seriously? What part of WORLD NEWS did you not comprehend?
  23. The above is a dishonest misrepresentation of the fees and surcharges by the airline or ticketing entity. Most of the fees and surcharges are airline generated, and not government. Some airlines don't want to be honest and show that they circumvent fare rules by charging fees and surcharges. An airline doesn't need to refund many fees and surcharges, nor does it pay tax on all of them.
