  1. Thai logic would hold that because. the Netherlands built roads in Indonesia and exported multiple religious works of art to the Netherlands, that Javas still is a part of the Netherlands.
  2. Looks like he did not want to wait in traffic.
  3. Promoting hate and advocating violence does not enjoy the protection of "free speech". You know what happens if someone says they are the bomb at an airport don't you? They are detained and removed from the airport. Hate speech and free speech are not the same. West encourages violence against a group of people on the basis of their ethnicity and/or religion. He is notable for his anti semitic statements, but his statements in favour of Nazi policies and self identifying as a nazi are also hurtful to Australia's aboriginal people. Kanye West is an undesirable for multiple reasons; - The inappropriate lewd and exploitive behavior in public of Bianca Censori. Many Australians believe it goes against common standards of decency and degrades a person. - He is a danger to both society and himself because he is mentally ill and his bipolar condition is not well managed. The very fact that he declares as a nazi, and the nazis exterminated the mentally ill and undesirables like West speaks to his mental illness and predisposition for self harm and potential to harm others. - A country is not obliged to accept the entry of someone who incites violence, depravity and abuse. He can go goose step in Russia or North Korea with similar minded people.
  4. Not banning speech. He is not allowed in because he is an undesirable promoting hate. Your homeland does not allow in foreigners who are critical of Trump. Are you opposed to the Trump administration of that too?
  5. Monk has to deal with the allegation of fraud and corruption. It cannot be waved off with a poor fellow succumbed to his urges excuse. As an abbott, he was not just a moral and religious leader, but was also a fiduciary of his wat. If he was collecting funds under the premise of being a devout monk, while engaging in lustful carnal relations, then he committed fraud, The wat may have to return funds and to undertake certain religious rites if they were performed by an unqualified monk.
  6. Why would they have to sneak back into Thailand if they were Thai nationals and were victims of crime?
  7. And yet they still manage to post their propaganda messages and pallywood productions.
  8. Adam Ant was a novelty act and had no standing with actual musicians.
  9. Gallagher. An actual talented person. And an environmentally esponsible person who did the right thing by using mass transit to get to his show. He took the train, and did not make a fuss or grandstand about it. You are dismissive because you disagree with his common sense. Bob Vylan's has latched on to jew hate to get some attention. It rode the BLM gimmick as far as it could, encouraging vandalism and anti English actions; Perhaps you liked Pascal Robinson-Foster words; “give Churchill’s statue the rope and see if it floats … Yeah, let the bitch drown, got the gammons all feeling sick now, wipe my backside with a St George’s flag." If someone said pull down Nelson Mandela's statue, the leftists would be screaming hate crime. Kneecap come from Belfast and are the scum of scum, pushing Irish nationalist themes. They purport to be non sectarian, but really they are advocates of IRA intimidation. If a US group named itself Lynching and called for the mass killing of afro american military personnel, they would be condemned. Howver, because kneecap only is targeting juden, it's ok.
  10. I am currently on assignment in Europe. It is pretty good. Germany was a nice change, and the Netherlands is wonderful. I will be in other European nations in the next month, before returning and it is decent. My suggestion to you is to visit the UK. Stop fighting the inevitable. You may be pleasantly surprised.
  11. You are tripping over your bias and hypocrisy. You take one sentence and present it out of context. The original comment was an intebtional misrepresentation of the financial aid. Go back to what I wrote. His statement was not critical of Israel. Rather it was a misrepresentation of financial activity as a subsidy of Israel. It is not a subsidy, and directly benefits the USA because it is provided as grants under the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program, funds that Israel must use to purchase U.S. military equipment and services. I see facts, and quite often I am critical of Israeli political policies. You, on the other hand are consistently anti Israel. In respect to the conflict in Gaza, the information flow has been one way negative with a campaign against Israel. It is socially acceptable to beat up on Israel and jews. In the western world, so called leftist progressives lead chants on removing Israel, and its people and they are applauded. In the western world, it is sport to blame Israel for the conflict, despite Gaza having initiated the conflict. and there having been umltiple opportunities for Gaza to end it. Today, the Gazans sit with another peace agreement championed by Egypt and Qatar, with the Gazans refusing to make an effort . There has been a successful propaganda effort to blame Israel and to encourage jew hate financed by groups who want to stop any normalization of relations. If people were to say the same things now said against Israel, but directed it at muslims, it would be called Islamophobia and politicians would be out en masse supporting victims.
  12. The opportunity to speak with someone even more useless than they are?
  13. All you did was trade one drug dependency for another. Your underlying mental health issues have not been resolved, only masked
  14. Whether or not. the PM should be PM is a seperate issue. The "Constitutional Court" judges were appointed by the previous military junta. It had no problem going along with the military that was in control previously, but now all of a sudden it has discovered national duty. Huzzah.
  15. Thailand: The land of invented data. When did 12,000 cannabis shops appear? weed.th says there are 10,760, BBC quoted government data when it recently said approx. 11,000 cannabis shops. Bangkok Post uses 18,000. Big F in deal if some close. Most are not viable business operations. They exist for criminal purposes, such as money laundering. There will still be shops, because there will still be a customer base. This is just a vested interest group playing the sympathy card.
  16. Are you speaking from personal experience?
  17. That's like just your opinion, man 🙂
  18. I thought that was your preferred outcome? Fancy that. Was this a new lifestyle outlook or did we misunderstand previous statements?
  19. Have the nuclear scientists been replaced? I don't know how safe the process and the end result will be if the experienced and skilled specialists are not there. Yes, Iran can build something, but it can also have a catastrophe along the way. It happens under the best of circumstances, so, I don't know how it would work now.
  20. That's unfair. Trump is politically expedient. His support for Netanyahu is mostly lip service and is intended to get him onboard for the coming peace talks. Trump is the only US President since Clinton who has a chance of getting a Middle East peace deal put in place. It would have been done had Iran not initiated the Hamas attack on Israel. It will require some bold brave steps but the Gulf Arabs are the only ones who can decide, but they need Netanyahu to behave and to give them something to work with. There is a lot I disagree with on Trump, but, some of the things he is doing are long overdue, and middle east peace is one of them. Give him a chance.
  21. According to some polls there was support in Israel for the Iranian intervention. https://en.idi.org.il/articles/59726 Flash Survey: 70% of Israelis Support the Decision to Attack Iran However, the campaign against Iran, has accelerated the Israeli public opinion turning into a decisive majority to end the Gaza conflict. In March 2025 polls had 60% of the population in support of continuing the Gaza intervention. By May, it had become 61% opposed to a continuation, and is now at 67% and expected to increase in the coming weeks. The support for remaining in Gaza has continued to drop, falling from a high of approx. 40% in May 2024 to 30% in May 2025.
  22. Deep. Very deep, man. Like the big Lebowski type of deep, You are describing most gyms. My friends go to gyms. They also do not smoke, or use drugs.
  23. Some of us thought it was a case of red roofing.
  24. Don't encourage it. You are enabling it.
  25. I appreciate that some people are annoyed. However, there is a reason for the verifying information in areas where visa abusers are more likely to be found. Please do not misinterpret this to mean that I support people being inconvenienced or stressed out. However, the additional checks are not really that onerous if you have the documentation. No one who "brings money" through legal and legitimate means is being kicked out. And by that, I refer to the people who are investing large sums of money and stimulating the economy. Someone who buys a condo time share, and who's idea of big spending is a night out at Sizzler is not doing much for the economy. I can assure you that the foreign professionals who work at Ford, Toyota, Allianz, Exxon Mobil, Huawei, Nissan, Samsung, etc. don't have any problems. The reality is that in all the years that this forum has been running, I have yet to see a foreign employee of one of Thailand's valuable foreign investors ever complain about immigration requirements. They seem to manage.
