  1. I suggest that one have a good look at the factual evidence available at https://www.hamas-massacre.net/ The amount of documented evidence of murder, torture, rape and barbarity is overwhelming. Warning: If you have a weak stomach, PTSD or are easily traumatized, give some of the videos a pass.
  2. China is building jet engines. Its new military aircraft are using them. The priority is military use engines not civilian equipment. China just gave a demonstration of its state of the art military equipment in the recent Pakistan-India clash. It looks like the Pakistanis were so effective, that India had to back down. India lost multiple combat aircraft, including its advanced French-made Rafale fighters, a Russian-made Su-30 MKI and MiG-29, and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Kashmir. The exchanges demonstrated the effectiveness of China’s fighter and missile technology over its Western and Russian counterparts. The assumptions that China is backward or has been left behind in capability is typical western culture arrogance. The Chinese are far more advanced than westerners know or wish to accept.
  3. There is no need to give a credit card to anyone. If the place accepts a debit card, then the machine can also accept a credit card,( if they take credit cards). I don't want to walk around with a wad of cash. Decent hotels require a credit card imprint when staying. I can't very well say to the BKK Airport Hyatt, please accept my good intentions. A dinner at a higher end restaurant for 4 can easily surpass 10,000 baht. Who wants to carry around a wad of cash? I have SMS alerts on all transactions for my credit cards and bank accounts so I can immediately spot a questionable transaction. I have had them and the CC company reverses them quickly. Never had a fake charge with Amex. 2X with Visa and 1X with MC.
  4. The only response, I really needed to see or actually wanted to see. Thank you for sharing your stability and sanity.
  5. An executive order cannot compel a business to sell its product at a lower price. That's the issue. The US federal government can say it will only purchase at a certain price, but the suppliers cannot be forced to sell by this order. And what everyone misses is that it is the distributors and retailers who increase the cost of the drugs. There is a quasi monopoly in the USA with a small number of mega logistics companies controlling distribution. They also have their own generic brands. They are not being told to reduce their markups. The pharmacies add dispensing fees in addition to their retail mark up. In many cases it is more expensive to obtain a prescription for basic drugs than it is to purchase off the shelf if an OTC. Classic example is the daily dose of aspirin.
  6. The Thai tourist sector does not grasp that the value proposition is no longer present. There was a time when the low cost of Thailand could offset the many negatives. Not anymore. Most businesses would take a a hard look at what they were doing and make changes. It seems Thailand is still in denial.
  7. A vindictive person like this, does not consider consequences. Restitution for expenses and court costs incurred is more useful
  8. He says he will. Hopefully, it is blocked.
  9. A drop in the bucket. England is known for hosting Middle eastern rapists, France and Belgium for hosting despots, Iran and lebanon for hosting terrorists, North Africa has its thriving slave trade families, Russia hosts US traitors, Canada hosts many of the worlds corrupt dictator families and war criminals from Rwanda and the Balkans, Australia hosts pedophiles and right wing fanatics, and the USA is home to violent people of all manner. What collects in Thailand is inconsequential filth much like pond scum.
  10. No. The Israelites have lived in Israel since the beginning of recorded history. Repeated expansionism and colonialism by arabs, asians, north africans and europeans, resulted in regular displacements of the israelites from their homeland. Perhaps, if humans were not so greedy and violent, things would be different.
  11. And some of us remember when you were on patrol keeping tourists safe. The local criminal element scurried away as you marched by, clearing Bangla of the hooligans and touts who lay in wait of the unsuspecting farangs. And many a foreign lout awash in the devil's juice was set straight by your presence. A proper beacon of English propriety, you were. Sometimes your patrol took you into the darkest recesses of human debauchery in the "Paradise" strip. Never judging the depraved hedonists who filled the area, you chose instead to assist all with your resolve, even when you were approached with urgent requests for directions to the nearest toilet. One night I saw you help a self described starving Australian woman when you told her where to find the Burger King. It was a remarkable intervention, and you pointed with authoritative gusto. Your self discipline must have been great as she was a vision of beauty with her rose tattoo on her near exposed bosom, and butterfly tattoo on her ham hock of a thigh. I doubt that many an Englishman could have resisted the exotic beguiling beauty of the maiden of Oz. So many people have come and gone. And so many have vaporized as their money ran out and they were forced to return to the UK or Europe, blaming everyone else for their poor financial planning and poor decisions in life. Yes it has been an exciting time and you were a part of it. You made it happen!!!
  12. Sarcasm is best left to experienced comedians.
  13. Who brought the dogs home? If it was you, it is your responsibility. If it was not you, seek to rehome them animals elsewhere or take them with you. If you cannot do that, and fear for their safety and well being, then you shall have to euthanize them.
  14. And leaves a victim suffering. The landlord is still stuck with the expensive damages. Who will take care of the victim?
  15. Covid infections never went away. They started increasing in Jan- March because so many infected people arrived. The high this year was at the end of Feb with 7.3 /million cases reported every day. (The number is much higher since most people do not report their infections.) As that wave receded, cases next increased during the Songkran period because of the crowded gatherings. 8,446 cases requiring hospital visits reported between April 27 and May 3 is a warning. If people are presenting at hospitals it is because their symptoms are severe enough to cause them to seek help. Covid is a severe viral infection because of the long term damage it causes. The damage is cumulative. It does have a relationship with the foreigners who arrived and who spread the disease. There is a good reason to wear a mask. I was on the local sonthaw and one foreigner was busy coughing and sneezing on everyone. I regretted not having a mask. It is understandable why so many Thais mask up around foreigners because the foreigners are arrogant in their behaviors coughing and spitting where they want. The only people who smoke in restaurants and in other places that have no smoking signs clearly posted.
  16. Stillwagon is not a medical doctor and has no medical training. He completed a chiropractor training program. He hasn't even practiced his bone cracking nonsense for decades and is not licensed. To call him a doctor is to try and mislead people, but then when you are promoting false information it should not come as a surprise.
  17. Reads to me like its more whinging from an elderly white male who is given to hysteria. Take up a hobby or something so that you stop having these outbursts that suggest a lack of self control. The restriction is limited in scope and applies only to public transport. Advertising by other means remains. The state has an expanding problem with obesity. Since the state must shoulder much of the medical costs of obesity it is reasonable for the state to try and discourage the consumption of products linked to obesity. It is no secret that processed meat is high in sodium, saturated fat, nitrates and nitrites .None of this is good for human health and the nitrates and nitrites are implicated in the skyrocketing colon cancer rates. The BS is your claim. Premier Malinauskas' Labor Government was elected with a platform that said it would take on the obesity and related health in SA, so this is in effect carrying out an election promise. They do not accept the consequences and instead expect the state to pay their medical and disability costs. As per the state government, according to recent data, around 68 per cent of adults and 27.5 per cent of children across South Australia are currently overweight or obese. Modelling indicates that if no action is taken, the number of people overweight or obese is expected to grow by an additional 1,900 children and 48,000 adults over the next five years. Alarmingly, recent modelling predicts that without action, children born last year could see as much as a seven-month reduction in life expectancy because of obesity, which is a greater impact than COVID-19. The research also suggests that experiencing obesity in childhood can lead to obesity in adulthood, and obesity at middle age contributes to the chance of hospitalisation and serious health conditions in middle age. An estimated 38% of Australians are being impacted by health issues that could have been prevented if they reduced their exposure to risk factors including obesity, smoking, alcohol and drugs.
  18. How does that help the victim? There is property damage to compensate and a mess to clean up.
  19. Bangkok elevation ranges from -11m to 3 m with an average elevation of 1.5 m. In contrast the elevations for other large cities are; Paris 35m, London 11m, Tokyo 40m, Singapore 11m, Chiang Mai 310m, Surat Thani 10m, and Patong 97 m Bangkok is built on reclaimed swamp. Swamps are known to hold tons upon tons of decaying organic material that has built up over centuries. No amount of ventilation will remove the gas byproduct of natural decay in a swamp.
  20. Would it have been any worse if Hamas was controlling the distribution? Surely the Gazans can manage their own affairs and do not need infidels to take care of their basic civic needs?
  21. Ask them. Data collection has not changed. This is just another example of political motivation claiming a conspiracy when there is nothing. It is malicious disinformation. I can make a conspiracy claims too. The US military personnel should not be engaged in sports. Many injuries because of the activity. It could be a plot by a hedonist or athleticism cult because they encourage sports. Nor should military personnel drive because of the high number of injuries. Even worse is walking and marching. it should be stopped immediately. If it wasn't because of this stupid need for marching, then military personnel would not have so many sprains and repetitive motion injuries. Could be a plot by shoe manufacturers to force the military to buy better suited footwear. Injuries were the leading cause of medical encounters among military personnel. The rate of hospitalization for injuries was approximately 1000 per 100,000 person-years and, for injuries treated in outpatient clinics, 999 per 1000 person-years. The leading injury type resulting in hospitalization was fractures (40%) and the leading injury type resulting in outpatient visits was sprains and strains (49%). Leading causes of hospitalization were falls/near falls (17.5%), motor vehicle mishaps (15.4%), and sports (13.1%). Conclusions Injuries are the biggest health problem of the military services. Military medical surveillance data are useful for determining the magnitude and causes of the injury problem, identifying possible prevention targets, and monitoring of trends among military personnel. 22. Your claim is just not true. There are weekly, monthly , quarterly and annual reports. The tracking of the information is a critical part of ensuring the general health of military personnel and maintaining readiness. The Defense Health Agency tracks the data. It also is responsible for providing guidelines and analyzing incidents to determine trends or if training must be adjusted. https://ph.health.mil/topics/discond/ptsaip/Pages/Military-Activity-Related-Injuries.aspx
  23. What did they lie about? Nothing was covered up. The military undertook an exercise and there were some injuries. The serious injuries were reported. The other incidents were most likely minor. Every day, personnel incur scrapes, bruises and sprains. If the US executive branch was expected to report those incidents, there would be hundreds if not thousands reported every week.
  24. If you wish to discuss Biden's mental state, please start another thread/topic. The alleged cover up has been shown not to be a cover up and so you have a need to deflect.
  25. The British were not involved in this. Fact 1: Kashmir had the choice to join with either Pakistan or India, but the local ruler Hari Singh, opted for independence in August 1947. Fact 2: Pakistani tribespeople with the tacit backing of Pakistan launched an insurgency and invaded Kashmir, with the intent of forcing the annexation of Kashmir by Pakistan. Fact 3: In response, the Kashmir government faced with Pakistani violence chose to join with India. Fact 4: The Indians themselves chose partition in 1947. Fact 5. Great Britain had no involvement Kashhmir's decision to join India. Easy to blame a former colonial power, but the Indians and Pakistanis are big boys and girls and have had 78 years / 3 generations, to work out their differences. The hatred between Hindus and Muslims is not the fault of Great Britainn.
