Didn't dare to watch it, let alone scrolling forward to the beating as suggested in the OP's text... Hopefully, those thugs will get what they deserve, respectively a good beating and some sweet sweet manhandling at the Bangkok Hilton. Bloody cowards!

What about the remaining 229,999?

You should start by figuring out what you want, and what your budget is.
Are you looking for something to live in or spend a few nights in occasionally?
It should work for road trips of up to 4 weeks without my wife and I killing each other ???? -
Naaa, come on! I'd say that we get at least get 131,000 of those pesky dirt bags who are a potential danger to the well being of this great nation! They'll overrun LOS before you even can say "wristband", especially now with those beautiful shiny wrist shackles and the whole entertainment sector being closed down and lying in shambles, alcohol ban and so much more attractive fun implementations that were imposed lately - be a bit more positive guys, cum on!!! ????????????

Wow! I'd say this is by far the nicest idea they ever had to lure in more of those pesky Farangs who never shower... They will flock in by the millions just to lay their hands on this beautiful, shiny wrist jewels that - on top of it all - are free! What a great win-win situation! Maybe charge them for the batteries and creatively "fine-tune" that price to basically cover the costs of the wristbands? Marketing-wise, they should come up with a great slogan for that... let me think... "You'll never walk alone!" ? "Big brother's watching you!" ? "Don't worry, be happy!" ? "We got you covered!" ? I'm sure those clever tourism, marketing and health experts will come up with something SOLID...

Why did you choose 2027? Is that the number that came out of the hat?
No, everything moves in cycles or waves... The whole thing started in 2020 - 7 years would be a typical cycle range for bigger life events (i.e. it is said that your personality and outlook on life kinda changes every 7 years), so things might improve from 27 onwards. I don't expect any larger improvements to the general situation before the end of 2026. This is a huge, giant mess and far from over. Mark my words, you'll remember them a few years from now. -
This gives the phrase, "breaking someone's balls" a completely new meaning ????????????

Anyone who still has some investment in anything tourism-related in this open air clown arena should sell it for scraps and run. As I mentioned earlier - nothing will be back into full swing before 2027, if ever...

I'd suggest being careful buying commercial vans, trucks or buses. You might have problems getting them re-registered on white plates. If you cant , you can't drive it.

Thailand, hub of cyber <deleted>... Just wonder if the "programmers" and officials in charge will receive a punishment as harsh as any person would who dares to question the government of this large open air psycho asylum online, according to that new cyber crime law?

Doc Wantonwannapapa would do very well in Germany, as both countries (especially in regards to international tourism) are on a self destructive path that is just beyond belief. Like I said in an earlier post; "Goodbye, season 21/22 and all subsequent ones til 27..." By then, a good chunk of the world's population will be wiped out, not by the "virus", but by stupidity. And human stupidity - according to Einstein - seems to be infinite, meaning that there might lay decades of darkness ahead... Perhaps it would be a good idea to open a simple noodle soup shop and lay low for a few years... Or become a doctor and make $#itloads of money by blasting out warnings and promoting self strangulation until the cows come home...

Goodbye then, season 21/22 plus wouldn't I even dare to holding my breath for any subsequent Thailand tourism season until 2027, since the damage caused til now will echo painfully through the empty streets of Patong, Pattaya, Khao Lak, Samui and Bkk for years to come. Let's call it a lost century and initiate the government supported euthanasia programme right now, why wait?

A big shoutout to all Thai Visa keyboard warriors out there. In hope of receiving constructive answers, I am inquiring for a bit of help here, asking you guys and gals for some input, your 2 cents, some food for thought, links and other pointers...
My wife and I are still dreaming of converting a van or truck into a motorhome here in Thailand. Yes, we know that you can perhaps travel cheaper and hassle-free just doing road trips with your comfy SUV, checking in at local hotels or resorts... We did this over the past 15 years or so, but this (perhaps stupid) dream of having a camper van / motorhome still sticks with us and it won't go away. We simply can't help it and want to take the next step, what would be finding a proper van, bus or 6 or 10 wheeler to convert. Given that there are only trailers and/or converted pickup trucks available in Thailand and any import bought at i.e. Alibaba would kill us financially given the high import tax and (most likely expected) envelopes to "grease the gear" at customs... Thus, mulling over import is off the table...
Enough babble - here come the questions: Do any of you guys and gals have experience with such conversions and if yes, what kind of wheels and what model (available 2nd hand in Thailand - no import!) would you suggest to get. Could you point us towards good sources for conversion plans, sites, groups, etc. and what are the traps and pot holes to avoid that would save us frustration and wasting money while doing the conversion? Last but not least, do you know of any body shops that do a great job with fibre moulds and "remodelling" the exterior of buses and vans (to perhaps heighten the head space, etc.)? Where are all those large travel Doppeldecker buses being remodelled? Any pointer and helpful comment here would truly be appreciated. Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to read through all of the above and for supporting us in our (perhaps childish?) dream.
Cheers, Freidenker

Just sad to see how low some of our Homos Sapiens species can go. Let's hope those empathy-depraved subhumans will face life sentences.
