See, I always wondered where the phrase, "the man behind the wheel" came from... Now, I know ????

Phang Nga health officials maintain they are investigating the man’s death seriously.
RIP, poor soul, condolences to family and friends. I wonder how they failed to simply let this "mishap" being put under rugs... as they do with almost everything else that goes against the vaccinating frenzy? Maybe the victim was someone higher up in the hierarcy?

I feel with you, brother! Have this problem every few months or so, up to the point where the pain made me physically sick with fever and feeling sick at the stomach...
Here's my solution, respectively what I do... I make it through the day (the sequence is important) using a Paracetamol or two... Then, before I sleep (make sure it will be a day where you can sleep in or call in sick for next day) I take TWO 100mg capsules of SUBSYDE-CR what is a Thai generic version of the better known Voltaren, but much, much cheaper.
Next day, I wake up late, relaxed and back to my good old shape. Usually, that holds for several weeks. Had only one time, where I had to do two nights in succession.
Important: DON'T take any Subsyde or Voltaren during daytime. Will not work but make you very sleepy. You need to be completely relaxed (sleeping). All muscles will relax and let any caught up or squeezed in nerves pop back into their place.
Would be grateful if you could shoot me a quick message if it worked for you.
Get well soon, brother! All the best!

Where it will remain for a while until investigations into it's origin are confirmed or the owner comes forward to claim it.
Basically, the stash HAS FOUND its (new) owners... Will never leave the station as a bundle, but in smaller packages. Some Mia Nois up there in Tak will be very pleased and give good service to their masters over the next few weeks...

One need to be drunk when travelling or living and working in Thailand, as otherwise it would be impossible to cope with all this nonsense, downright stupidity and ignorance in the first place...

That must be the first time in history that someone within Thailand openly posted a realistic prediction on tourism in this country. Thank you!!!!

My wild guess is that the outcome might have been drastically different if questions like these were included in the survey:
1) How happy are you with Thai visa requirements and visa rules in general?
2) Does it affect you personally in any negative way when Thai officials openly, on media call you "Farang", who are dirty and smelly with a very bad body hygiene?
3) Do you feel safe when you drive, bicycle and walk on Thai roads?
4) Does the fact bother you, that you are unable to fully, legally own the business that you have invested all your life savings in?
5) Same as 4 but referring to land and house instead of a business.
6) Do you enjoy the fact that you will have to pay 10 times the Thai entry fee at most national parks in Thailand?
7) How much do you enjoy the very fact that your whole existence here is a tight rope walk that can have you expedited for up to 10 years for even the slightest ever "felony", like jamming with your musical instrument in a local pub or bar?
8 ) Does add to your happiness the fact that you are so very welcome here if you have plenty of cash to spend, but the very opposite if you ever find yourself in a tight spot, financially?
9) Is it adding immensely to your daily wellbeing when openly in public children point at you, shouting "Farang, Farang!" with their parents having a broad smile on their face instead of scolding them, basically sending out a silent approval?
10) Would you say that it would elevate your happiness level if - let's just hypothetically imagine - a boat captain throws back the trash he disposed of into the Andaman Sea, but that had been collected by you while diving, shouting at you that "This is my country and I can make it as dirty as I want!"...
... and I would have a whole calatogue of so many more questions I'd like to add to that survey, but let's just pretend that everyone is so very happy here, given the staggering amount of foreigners filling in that survey...- 2

Good on them (the Chinese Expats)... Let's just hope the Chinese vaccines are as reliable as the electric power tools they export to all over the word...

The British government has already stated that as much as they would like to vaccinate their own expats living in Thailand, they don't currently have any syringes with long enough needles...
Excellent joke!!! Made my day, but sadly - most here won't get it ????

Maybe, then it's time for you to relocate to Wuhan or some other scenic area in fast-paced China?- 1

It is actually a bit impressive that this is happening.
Should I email the British Embassy and ask them when and where I will get mine?
Shame on the Biden Administration. Oh, but wait, Breaking News: Biden hails ceasefire, vows US will help Gaza with humanitarian aid. Boy I was worried he might help Chinese victims in Wuhan instead of US tax paying citizens living over seas.
Welcome to reality! -

Chinese are faster out of the gate vaccinating their own nationals than Thailand is putting together a live, ongoing vaccination program of its own.
Sheesh...
Right!!! They were also quite fast in getting the virus distributed worldwide in the first place...
Sheesh...

I have no idea how you construed what I wrote the way you did. I was replying to a particularly foolish post that claimed car accidents, heart disease, and cancer deaths were somehow comparable to the current pandemic.
Ouote: "a contagious illness that has overwhelmed public health systems" end quote... There's the red line you were searching for, love.

Let us all contemplate with admiration what your fellow serious thinkers have accomplished in countries like Brazil, Mexico, the USA, India and so many more. Clearly what they understand and we don't is that there is no difference between a contagious illness that has overwhelmed public health systems and car accidents, and other non-contagious diseases. I, for one, marvel at your perspicacity.
Did you take into account that the worldwide health system has desperately being downsized and money-drained to death over the past two decades? One might even think it was purposely done, especially when looking at Germany... The health system would not be overwhelmed, if doctors, nurses and hospital staff worldwide would be paid well, kept happy, educated properly and steadily increased to be a proper buffer for any eventualities... But now, the politicians a "Placeholder" most likely would hail and honour, have destroyed the health system to a point where even a highly contagious flu could push the whole world over the edge. But don't worry, "Placeholder" (you truly chose your name wisely, dear) help is coming: Pfizer, Gates, Soros, Klaus Schwab and friends will come to thy rescue... "Just a little pinprick" and you will be on your feet again to make it through the show. All the best to you, love!- 1

...vs 50 road deaths on average every single day for several decades now (counted are only immediate deaths, not the possibly other 50 or more dying later at the hospital), vs 22% rise in suicides with one suicide attempt every ten minutes, vs Cancer with 19% of reported deaths being the leading cause of death in Thailand, followed by Ischemic (12%) heart disease and stroke (10%), vs the "fact" that we have "obviously" conquered influenza... food for thought, but thinking is so damn 2019, right????

Is it a coincidence that this article is accompanied by a photo of that unfortunate shrine that several years ago was the epicentre of a cowardly terrorist bombing? Or is it a subliminal message saying, "Forget it, man - it will explode right into your face?" Just asking...

American motorcyclist killed in head on collision in Phrae
in Chiang Rai

What is wrong with this picture? Maybe, that the car that killed the Mr. Kenneth (RIP) is standing on the wrong side of the road? Looks to me like there is much more to the story... and that clearly the driver of the black car. What a superficial <deleted> article - blahblahing about the driver coming back home from a merit party at a temple... nothing about how it happened... Thanks for the info ☹️
