  1. Attention seeking wannabes. The world is consumed with territorial issues of Russia/ukraine, Israel/Palestine, Pakistan/india etc. Feeling neglected they thought what can we do to draw some attention to us. Masters of copycats. 😂😂😂
  2. So enforcing laws on illegal foreign businesses. How about just delete the word foreign. Xenophobia is endemic among the elites. Maybe because foreigners look down on Thais irrespective of their status.
  3. Not sure about authenticity of the story. Indian man showering? Maybe guests insisted but he refused then it went sour after that.
  4. Yeah bring her back home. Soon she’ll find a farang in issan and will kick you out once she realizes you don’t contribute and worse chasing other women. One thing issan woman are good at is spotting a butterfly.
  5. Surprised nobody suggested bribing the police to let him go. This happens all the time.
  6. Totally agree. Behavior change comes from the top. I remember in oz seat belt and alcohol enforcement took a while to implement. With persistence they did so much so when I’d get in the car and start it, my 6year old would chastise me for starting the car before putting the seatbelt on. Over here the parent rides with the 6year old kid neither wearing helmet passing police. Forget the parent, but how do we expect the kid to behave later on?
  7. Well road safety enforcement and education in most expat countries is strong enough that ensures everyone is well aware hence people develop positive habits. But in Thailand they put that behind them. Thai people do not know better. That is not to say they are totally ignorant. Therefore the bad habit they’ve developed stems from poor education and enforcement. As old habits die hard it will take some time to change their habits. Getting back to expats I think those who know better should lead by example rather than be lazy and uneducate themselves.
  8. A healthy man can hold it in for a couple of minutes until the next stop on a train. Anyways, any wise person would not consider pissing between cars on a moving train a “public” place. So your explanation and logic (or lack of) fails and does not apply to this case. The idiot was caught pissing in public areas as we see them do here in LOS. They think turning their back to traffic on the side of a road is OK as long as the public cannot see the flow or their Willy. This is the 3rd world country mentality. On a related matter you seem to exhibit such mentality me thinks😂😂😂
  9. I’d like to see expats in pattaya fined double the fine. Pissing me off seeing old farts riding bikes with no helmet. Almost guaranteed they’d wear them in their home country ie they know better than the local Somchai.
  10. The sheer mention of his name relating to the upcoming court case and the Cambodian issue by journalists suggests foul player either by the journalist or both.
  11. You can take a person out of a third world country but you can’t take the third world mentality out of a person.
  12. Can someone tell us how many Deputy Prime Ministers does Thailand have?
  13. What’s boosting tourism got to do with nominee business stuff?
  14. The temptation to earn more money is too powerful and not just with taxis. The risk of getting caught is too low. It makes sense to them to go on.
  15. You can’t be taken seriously with this mentality. Throwing labels at people may make you feel better but just don’t make sense. Traitor lol😂😂😂
  16. It seems she’s got you on abusing the immigration visa system. Unfortunately for you she’s right. You keep mentioning overkill but it doesn’t really matter what you think as you’ve figured it by now. Get proper advice and do as the advice says and not what you think you should do.
  17. Don’t make sense. He did so did his dad years ago. Run by communists?
  18. So thin-skinned. Go after Harvard for refusing his son and now Chinese students.
  19. The outcome of burning Koran or bible truely depends on the version and the material especially the cover. The long versions with thick covers are expected to burn longer.
  20. You need to find the cause of water damage. If one-off then can be fixed but if recurring it will be difficult and potentially expensive to fix.
  21. Go easy on him. How else is he expected to maintain two women.
  22. Exploiting tourists happens whenever, however and wherever possible. It’s up to police to catch and punish them.
