    I did ask the same question from a few pubs. They said importing cans is not allowed, something to do with licensing. But they can import in kegs for on tap purposes.

    How many police are employed to check on the 4000 police? Last year at a Songkran lunch at a friends house with local policeman already sitting at the table in uniform on his break, drunk as a skunk with his rifle next to him. He took out the magazine, passed the rifle to me to have a feel of it. It was an interesting experience. He got into his pick up and drove off going back to work.

    Is the purchase as a means to give your daughter future financial benefit or accommodation. If it’s about investment for her future I’d stay away from real estate in Thailand. Put some cash/gold etc in an account in her name with a maturation date. Her mother or even your daughter does not need to know.

    It’s not just the toll. It also covers speed cameras and other fines issued by cameras on highways. But he’s either dumb or too brazen to have just the front plate changed.

    If the lady had a lady partner, the partner would discourage her from removing it. But seriously the wife had hers done in a clinic in bkk. Best advice is to get the lady to check online forums where Thai women who had theirs done and provide feedback on their experiences rather than watching a clinics ads which are always positive.

    This is a man made thing. As such responsibility (thinking) comes with its construction. Looks like it was built for the purpose of dissipating wave forces. If so, it wasn’t intended for people accessing the sea. As such it’s their responsibility to ensure people are not walking on it. This is typical of Thai style construction with little foresight and the “what if” considerations that go hand in hand with designs and erection of things!

    Doesn’t make sense. More bums on seats leads to higher revenue. Fares should be decreased unless opportunity is sought to make more money. The guy confirms Thai mentality of price gouging especially when foreigners are involved.
