I heard that a taxi driver in Bangkok got fined 2000 baht for killing a farang pedestrian. That's it. 2000 baht. 

When I cross the street my head is on a swivel. I probably look left and right 6 times before I get to the other side of the street.

I always verbally confirm with the driver when I get into the car.

Not enough is done to encourage the foreign retiree home owners to come and stay longer with more simple handling and less paperwork for  long stay visas for the retirees for instance.

Thailand prefers the tourists that spend like drunken sailors.

Tourist money is too easy.

I hear some Thais reach down to the ground in pretending to pick up a rock to throw at the dog. If there are a lot of aggressive dogs you could always carry a real rock.

Meh I don't think it will make any real impact. Cashed up farangs and asians will easily be replaced by other cashed up farangs and asians. The only thing that slowed down tourism overall in Thailand was covid.

Cars in India have louder horns than elsewhere. Indians really love to lay into their horns. They will honk their horns while stopped at a red light.
