  1. It's complicated if the narratives are adhered to and dictate the field.
  2. Goes to show that even historians dealing with this period of time can't make peace among themselves....what chance real peace between nations?
  3. Oh....that kind of fragile.
  4. Various figures cite tens of thousands bombs and munitions dropped, fired and launched on the Gaza Strip. The IAF is good, but it's inevitable there will be misses, mistakes and misjudgements. I guess that had it been an air force of lesser quality, there would be more of that. What you believe is immaterial. There are more and more voices from the Gaza Strip (and the West Bank) berating and criticizing Hamas for bringing this calamity on their heads. I'm also pretty sure not everyone is thrilled to be 'sacrificed', surely not for leaders living in luxury at the Gulf. But again - I point out that there was (is) a way to protect civilians, if Hamas so wished. You do not accept it, fine. When you start with 'butchers' etc., that's when I know there's no one home to talk to. You sounds like you need a little rest.
  5. Proper pistachios when I can get them (my Dr. does not approve), the basic Lay chips. Also pomegranates (black diamond kind), opened, seeds all moved to bowl, cool it a bit and I'm set. Used to get those tiny salty dried up fish at the market (from THAT stall, not the other), but ran into the doc (it's a small town) and was scolded, shop owner told not to give me any. Oh, and chocolate. Current 'favorite' is Ritter's.
  6. @thaibeachlovers Hamas did not 'own' any land. Many of the Palestinians did not actually own land either. As for your 'old white men' rubbish....we've been over that numerous times. You, for example, are clearly not very interested in any form of compromise, legitimization, and the like. What you're after is some 'victory'.
  7. @thaibeachlovers Is this really what Palestinians want, perpetual war for ever? They haven't succeeded in advancing their cause much since 1948, so do they actually think the can, or is it just Hamas leadership trying to stay on top of the pile? Your nonsense about 'eternal Hamas' are not supported by historical facts. For example, there's relatively very little such terrorism action on offer from Arab citizens of Israel.
  8. @thaibeachlovers No. These comments are made based on them 'victory to the end' posts, the gloating, the embracing of Hamas ideas and so on.
  9. @thaibeachlovers More hollow, pompous pronouncements. The focal point, quite obviously not being the Palestinian 'cause'.
  10. The post I responded to appeared was also quoted in @ozimoron's post, which I linked above. Whether you edited things later it another matter.
  11. Wonder what could have made that impression.....?
  12. @ozimoron That is not true. That's you saying stuff. Considering you often get confused or imaginative regarding what people post, you're hardly an authority. Although you try to present yourself as such.
  13. https://aseannow.com/topic/1314367-the-children-of-gaza-more-than-7000-killed/page/23/#comment-18572689 No link to begin with.
  14. @thaibeachlovers More like wishful thinking on your side.
  15. Maybe someone finds lifting quotes from the internet and presenting them as original being amusing. Stands for your post as well, coming to think about it.
  16. Judging from your comments on these topics, you're not one to preach.
  17. Yeah, the OP might give some warped take on Chinese docs. Can't say my experiences with them were always nice or even professional, but there are all sorts.
  18. You're making up stuff again about what people post. It's a thing with you.
