i would still not go to any thai visa party though. If the website is the same as your party skills then it would be the most boring night ever

Well I went to a Thai Visa party a couple of Years ago, and it was not boring at all, it was a great night..

    Everyone happy and polite.

  2. It's one thing committing a crime in your own Country, but to try this in a Foreign Country, what silly Men they are !!!

Its idiots like this that give Farang a bad name, and its not fair for us good one's.

I think they will end up in Nongpalai Jail in Banglamung, i thought Bangkok Jail was for Murderers.

Whatever anyway, they really need to stop watching Movies !

  3. It's quite a nice car, and its none of my neighbors, as they have also been asking who's it is.

If the alarm is still going off later i will consider reporting it to the Police, none of my neighbors will get involved i don't think as they are Thai.

It's so annoying, i will still hear this noise in my head when it finally stops.

I am hoping the battery will drain completely then it might stop by itself.

  4. Someone parked there Car in front of my house about 2 weeks ago, and now the Alarm is kind of clicking away, its not a siren, its clicking, not too loud, but very very annoying. I guess for 4-5 houses either side will also hear it.

Is there anything that can be done about it ?

I think i might have a sleepless night tonight if not.

  5. Pro Language Pattaya klang was the one for me, I enjoyed my Year there.

My daughter is on her 4th Year, can now speak, read and write.

Nice friendly teachers, I particularly liked the Coffee they made me :)

  6. I have lived in Pattaya for 11 Years, at first it was hard, especially with the noise, it seemed very loud, but as the years have gone on, i am now use to it. Even Rice & spicy foods, I hated it when i first came, but now enjoy a bowl now and then.

As with anything in life, we get use to it.

  7. I would say the Thai stock market. It is both easy and cheap to get started here, much more so than in the west. Of course you shouldn't just jump into the deep water, but either paper trade for a year or so to get an understanding of how it works, what news to believe (and more importantly, what not to believe).

I do not have a clue about Thai stock market, at all. Where do i begin to learn about it ?

I am totally lost when it comes to this...... never felt the need to look at it before, but now in a better position to maybe.

  8. I went to this beach last Sunday, and have to say it was lovely compared to Pattaya Beach and Jomtien, the water was so clean and blue.

My Thai partner had to give his ID and pick it up on the way out, the arrangement was similar to how it use to be on Ko Larn, have to park your vehicle then get a bus over the hill to the beach.

There were plenty of people there including Farangs. There is no shop, just a restaurant, so we bought our drinks before we went in. It was lovely, clean toilets & showers.

  9. My daughter also learnt with a School, and they took her opposite the temple at Lake Mabprachan, I went with them every day, and the last few days, I took over, and taught her the things the Thai did not teach her - she passed first time, she had never driven a car before, and she passed in a big pick up,, its the parking you have to concentrate on the most.

    Good luck.

  10. I bought my Aircon unit from Numchai approx 6 weeks ago, all was great until it died after a month, so they came out to look, they said it was not there problem, they had to get LG out to look at it, i might have to wait a few days.

The LG man came and said the problem was not LG's and it was Numchai's problem with the installation.

If the first guy had of looked properly he might have seen this the first day, but no, he didn't even give it a chance, so for 5 days i was left without Air in my bedroom, it got fixed eventually.

I recently saw the same unit in another electrical shop at the same price that I paid, so i think the prices may be the same at most places.

  11. Well i disagree with Bytebuster on that one, I think donating it to people in need would be a great gesture,

whether or not they preferred to use a telephone camera, i bet they would not refuse it.

I would say its better to give people in need, than to just give it away to anyone.

  12. Just a thought, i think it would be nice if you possibly donated it to some charity organisation or orphanage, there are a lot in Pattaya, I bet an Orphanage would love that, poor little children.

  13. I bought my Townhouse Central Pattaya 10 years ago, I paid 800.000 bt.

If you arent Thai then you didnt buy it; someone else did. And if you are Thai then you cant properly compare your property with the property that farangs can legally buy.

I paid 800.000 bt for my Townhouse, 10 years ago and that was the going price at the time to Thai or Non Thai - Today's going price for the same is 1.7 Million ( to Thai or non Thai )

Ok then, i paid out 800.000 Bt 10 Years ago, if i decided to sell tomorrow, i could sell for 1.7 Million, I have a buyer wanting it as its such a good location, Central.

Hope that is better worded for you Sir :)

  14. I do not live in a Village with security. I have lived Central Pattaya in the same house for 10 Years, I have never been burgled. I have security bars on all windows and doors, Good locks on Doors and outer Gate, a loud barking dog in my front garden, he barks when a mosquito flies past. I did have an alarm system fitted a few years back which was brought over from the UK, but it does not work anymore, but still have the alarm box on view on the side of my house. When i go out, I always put the padlock on my gate on the inside, so it looks like i am in and have locked it from the inside, if you put the padlock on the outside, its obvious you are not at home.

If I was worried about burglers so much, I think I would also leave my Television on when i went out, but there is no need for me to do that. Good luck.

Must be wonderful being your neighbour

Oh yes, they all love me to bits, as i have been here the longest, i watch out for things and let them all know if there are any problems :)
