  1. Thank you both for the 2 helpful responses. Can any branch of a bank, such as Bangkok bank near immigration issue this on the spot, or do you have to visit your home branch? Does Chonburi Immigration require the withdrawal and deposit from same day of visit as I do not think bank book update would show the updated current day balance unless a transaction is made. I think some do 100 baht in/out transaction at CW, otherwise, the bank letter and book could be slightly off. Could this be done through online banking before visiting immigration? Do they want copies of all pages of bank book or a 6 month/12 month statement? Can it be printed from the internet? Thank you for advice.
  2. Thank you very much for the requirements link. Does anyone know the required format on the bank letter? Is there a standard template and can it be from the day before in Chonburi, or does it have to be the same day? Thank you for advice.
  3. Do you have any idea if that SRRV program has an option for foreign retirees and foreign dependant spouse and family members....or is it only for single travelers. Thanks
  4. Has anyone successfully done this in Chonburi recently? Just saw another thread where a guy said he could not do in Sri Racha, so wondering if any possible issues in Chonburi?
  5. Isn't the TM7 for extending the 90 day for 12 month extension? I thought TM86 is form for changing from visa exempt to 90 day? Could someone please post a full list of the correct requirements.
  6. In addition to bank book, letter from bank and TM 86, are there any other forms required? I suppose TM30 has to be done in advance. Also can this process be done easily in Chonburi office or is it difficult? Thank you.
  7. Question about the 800k funds coming from overseas as I have seen this mentioned. If entering on a new 30 day exempt and the 800k funds have been in place for 2 years from previous work in Thailand, would they accept that, and would they ask for past pay slips, copy of previous work permit, or Thai tax returns? Or do you have to send in another fresh 800K deposit?
  8. But from another thread, someone wrote it can also be done in Chonburi....does this mean the info from there is sent up to Bangkok for approval and it could take some time?
  9. Any recommendations for agent for 12 month retirement Non O extension. Advice appreciated.
  10. That is probably the best advice. Could someone recommend a reliable agent in Pattaya, either as reply here or PM?
  11. That sounds like a possible solution. I wonder if they would be able to pick up your papers if sent to quarantine as there could be a complete seal off to the outside? Or would you have to start the process before, such as after Day 1 PCR but before Day 5 PCR.
  12. Thanks, good ideas. Is the first "medical" extension same as retirement extension and 12 months or is it a short term thing? Can it be done after getting out or only while in quarantine before expiry? For the the second idea, does this mean agent? Would they do while you are stuck in quarantine? So original question is still there....could you do it yourself or with agent after getting out and therefore on overstay? Complicated times .....
  13. Scenario. Return to country, on 5 day Test n Go. Return with 1 week left on valid 12 month retirement extension of stay with re-entry permit. Day 5 PCR test shows positive requiring 10 days quarantine. Retirement Extension expires while in quarantine, so now on overstay. Is it still possible to do the extension after getting out, even though it expired? Is there an overstay fine?
  14. Is this because you are an owner rather than a renter? Anyone else with recent experience that can clarify? Especially renters.....
  15. Hey Ubonjoe (or anybody else), do not want to start another similar thread, but do you have the latest checklist for Jomtien for Non-O retirement extension based on 800k in bank method.
  16. Thank you Ubonjoe.....wonder if airlines will ask for ongoing flight ticket even with valid re-entry permit?
  17. For a Non-Imm O, with re-entry permit is there a required number of minimum days until expiry? Assuming a further extension will be applied before expiry As the other Visa on Arrival, Visa exempts are 15, 30 days (even though different visa class), just wondering if airlines or immigration would object if the amount of time remaining is less than this? Advice welcome.
