  1. So, you believe "the public forum" of the internet? Why "precious little"? You mean "previous little" in your mind? The whole point is that the entire medical community is recommending this. Or yu can believe YouTube good luck
  2. ""With Covid not being breaking news each day, what is the general consensus on if it is advisable to get yet again another booster. I am 73 but in good health, no health issues at all."" Posts like this never cease to amaze me. "73 in good health no health issues at all" - does not make you protected in any way from 100's of illnesses. But vaccines DO protect you against many of those same illnesses. "general consensus"? - On a Pattaya internet forum? Why not ask advice on Twitter...much more scientific? <deleted>, the 'general consensus' is surely what the medical authorities say. They are not doing all this booster stuff because they are bored. Do you think an annual flu jab is a good idea? If so, if you accept that advice, why not just accept the advice on Covid vaccines from the same medical establishment? Trust social media advice or trust medical authorities advice? Good luck to you if you choose the first one
  3. " Two patients had suspected pericarditis and four patients had suspected subclinical myocarditis. In conclusion, Cardiovascular manifestation in adolescents after BNT162b2 mRNA COVID-19 vaccination included tachycardia, palpitation, and myopericarditis. The clinical presentation of myopericarditis after vaccination was usually mild and temporary, with all cases fully recovering within 14 days." Suspected? Mild and temporary? Does not seem worth any attention. Does not mean it is bad research, just that it is not any kind of disaster, so why give it any attention. And as previous poster says, compared to what? Are these numbers normal, high, low? What are the numbers for people who get infected? If you don't know all that, it is saying nothing
  4. Glad I found this thread. Lots of arrival information out there, but difficult to find departure information. So, Suvanrabhumi Airport does not have any rules of its own - it is all based in the destination and transit country rules. Since I am going to the UK on Qatar, all good!
  5. I am from the UK - I believe the eVisa fee for 60 days single entry is UKP 30......about 1300 Baht Is that correct?
  6. Who?? Is she a virologist? An immunologist? A scientist? No <<<Zeynep Tufekci, an assistant professor at the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina,>>> I don't understand why anyone would give a single millisecond of their time to read this
  7. How did you get the 4500 Is that the cost of an online tourist visa? ie 1500 Baht each time?
  8. I am checking with my visa agent for costs of tourist visa extensions. If it is 4-6k, then doing that 3 times is almost the same as renewing my retirement visa, and the retirement visa gives 12 months "certainty"
  9. I agree on those 2 guys i will let them reply in their own time if they choose - don't want to hassle with PM's
  10. Can any visa experts confirm this? ie what is the official limit on number of tourist visas you can do in 1 year? And the maximum number of days allowed per year in Thailand under a tourist visa?
  11. What is VE and TR60? IO? TM30? I thought there was a limit on the number of Tourist Visas/months you could do in one year??
  12. I did not know you could do the TV extensions - that could be a good option A retirement visa THE FIRST TIME, is more expensive than renewing - multiple agents have told me that. Not sure how I would annoy someone important?? I have lived here for 10 years without having any interaction with any authority. If my visa records were perfect, and I <deleted> someone off, they would find an excuse to go after me or anyone else anyway. Don't see this as an issue
  13. Read the UK government website where you will see all the the latest entry requirements
  14. Good point - had not thought of that Visa exempt is 30 days plus 30 extension, right? Tourist visa is 60 plus 30 extension I believe?
  15. I already have a Non-O (retirement) visa, which does not have the insurance requirements of the OA (I believe)
  16. I won't really know how many visits or visit durations until I get back to the UK....maybe a couple of months per visit a few times a year. Yes, this is a cost v hassle decision. Keeping the retirement visa about 16k for the agent (I don't want to keep 800k in a thai bank) plus reentry permit.....but probably the most flexible/hassle free option. Tourist visa lower cost, but maybe more hassle and less flexible?? I have never done anything apart from visa exempt on arrival before the retirement visa, so maybe the tourist visa is a pain in the butt to keep doing this every visit?? Or is this really pretty smooth nowadays?
  17. I have lived in Pattaya for a few years on a retirement visa I need to move back to the UK Will probably visit Pattaya 3-4 times a year going forward I could: 1. Keep my retirement visa. I use an agent to renew each year without me keeping the 800k in a Thai bank, so there is a cost to this 2. Apply for a 60 day tourist visa for each future visit. I think this can be done online now? Can be extended by 30 days when in Thailand I think? What are the pros and cons of each option?
  18. I thought the title of this thread was very specific, so asked here. BHP, as far as I could make out, was not for people who had double Pfizer....but the wording was difficult to understand I will check out Queq - thanks First 2 doses were Medpark in Bangkok - I can go there again, just would be simpler to do it where I live
  19. I live in Pattaya. My 6 months deadline is tomorrow. Double Pfizer before. I have never heard of QueQ! Is there a website where all this info on the correct process is available?
  20. But where? All I see is boosters for people who had AZ/Chinese vaccines
  21. See screenshot attached. On the Apple App Store, the app says "Chonburi Hospital" - is this the Mor Prom app?? On Google Play it says "Ministry of Public Health", which is kind of what I was expecting
