  1. Does anyone know of any locations in Pattaya offering the 3rd Pfizer shot yet? ie first 2 shots also Pfizer
  2. If you are a farang business owner, your visa would propapbly be cancelled pretty quick if you tried to see the big picture and signed this.
  3. Of course you would - right up to the point where the guys with baseball bats came to visit your bar. Don't talk such complete <deleted>
  4. No, that is not what I am saying. I am sure the locally manufactured AZ vaccines are the same quality as AZ manufactured anywhere else, and the imported Pfizer/Moderna/Sinovac are the same as where they were manufactured. I am saying that Thailand is the land of scams and forgeries, so how easy it would be to get a forged vaccine certificate?? There is also close to zero law enforecement in Thailand, so no-one is going to be stopping these forgeries being created and sold. That is why the UK is not (yet) accepting vaccines ADMINISTERED in Thailand as valid.
  5. Why does it boggle the mind? It is not about the vaccine. It is because Thailand has been known for decades as the land of scams and forgeries....how easy do you think it would be to get a forged vaccination certificate?? Very easy I guess. So, from UK immigration perspective, anyone that says they were vaccinated in Thailand might have a forged certificate.
  6. I did leave them a message Thursday, but no reply
  7. I agree no formal trials involving mixing Chinese vaccines with others. Another reason for non-acceptance of Thai administered vaccinations is that Thailand is full of scams and forgeries, so why would any immigration/health official in the UK/EU/US believe any "Thai certificate of vaccination" ??
  8. Does anyone have any recommendations for a removal company to move from Thailand to the UK?? No big stuff like furniture - just personal belongings, maybe 3-4 large suitcases/boxes Thanks
  9. Yes, but what country would that be? Most countries want 10-14 days quarantine/isolation for people coming in from most countries. The safer countries are safe partly because they have those strict entry requirements. So you would have to pay for 10-14 days that way. Case in point is Singapore, on the UK green list, so no restrictions going into the UK - but 10 days mandatory quarantine at government hotel going into Singapore. And I guess you also have to have a long term visa to even get in at all
  10. Of course you are asking opinions on the internet - as proven by the fact you just got some opinions.
  11. Why not check the UK government website. Surely that is more reliable than a bunch of opinions on an internet forum? Last time I checked 3 days ago, it said something like "must be vaccinated in the US or EU" to be classed as 'fully vaccinated'. This is for quarantine/isolation purposes. It did NOT say anything about the brand of vaccine....only about WHERE you were vaccinated. Will theatres, etc have the same definition of fully vaccinated as UK immigration? Who knows
  12. So, all vaccines have a very small probability of severe adverse reactions. My question - who pays if that happens? My expensive international health insurance company have told me they DO cover me if I catch Covid, but do NOT cover me if I get this adverse reaction. Does the Thai government cover this because it is emergency use?
