Jury finds Donald Trump sexually abused E. Jean Carroll in civil case
SunnyinBangrak replied to Scott's topic in World News
I don't see what Trump is supposed to say if he never met this woman? I also have MAJOR concerns over the legitimacy of her claims after she posted online she was a massive fan of Trump's Apprentice television show. It would stand to reason that had Trump SA her as she claims that she would likely have been revolted by him afterwards not a big fan. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trumps-defense-grills-e-jean-carroll-old-social-media-posts-trial-rape-rcna82254 Plus along with having no physical evidence the event took place as she claimed, she could also not remember when it happened so Trump was unable to give an alibi proving his innocence. How very convenient!! -
IMF says UK economy to grow this year in big U-turn
SunnyinBangrak replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
I wonder how this major U-turn affects the Brexit is a failure narrative? If memory serves wasn't the FTSE one of the world's best performing stock exchanges - outperforming most of the Eurozone exchanges - last year also? -
Have you considered that President Trump might have a stronger case than biden because a)Trump was President when he allegedly took the documents, rather than just a senator, and b)the documents Trump had were in a safe locked room in a highly guarded luxury estate rather than in a garage in a house rented by Hunter Biden?(1) I'm just saying it's not a black and white situation like you are saying. Also no need for the standard "kool aid" insults IMO. Let's try and discus issues like adults on this world news discussion forum instead of resorting to playground insults. 1)https://nypost.com/2023/01/13/hunter-biden-lived-at-delaware-home-where-classified-docs-were-kept/

Not sure it's appropriate to call Congresswomen "broads"? Also wishing violence such as tarring and feathering on somebody because they do not share one's own extreme world view does not smack of tolerance and acceptance IMO. A free and fair discussion and sharing of ideas would be more mature, rather than resorting to violence. Finally, you are not in a position to tell this lady that she was not intimidated by the democrat gentleman. That is for the victim(MTG) and her alone to feel.

More corruption. "President Biden failed to list free vacations at the homes of businesspeople on his annual financial disclosure form this week — drawing a rebuke from ethicists and Republicans amid an ongoing political firestorm over Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ similar non-reporting of free trips from a businessman. Biden enjoyed three beach getaways at the homes of the wealthy and politically connected owners during the past-year reporting period. In two instances, Biden is known not to have paid the owner and in the third case it’s suspected the president did not pay." https://nypost.com/2023/05/18/biden-omits-free-vacations-from-financial-forms?utm_source=gmail&utm_campaign=android_nyp As we all know, enjoying a free vacation with your pals is an incredibly serious crime.

As his claims are proven true, and the "conspiracy theories" and 7 years of wild false allegations against the man fall apart this is a strange headline. It is no surprise that more ridiculous indictments coming from weaponized DAs desperate to nail the man anyhow and anyway possible would please the left, but any reasonable being should be able to see the alphabet agencies obsession and persecution is way outta control and has never happened before. If justice is not blind, it is not justice. I wonder if there is a tipping point for the left, 7 years of vile baseless accusations against a President is not a good thing if you want to be thought of as credible.

Durham report finds FBI probe into Trump-Russia ties was flawed
SunnyinBangrak replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I believe conspiracy theories are inflammatory by their very nature. Walker88's post claiming without evidence to have inside information in this case certainly fits the bill. -
Durham report finds FBI probe into Trump-Russia ties was flawed
SunnyinBangrak replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I see posters repeatedly claiming that there has never been a case of a conspiracy theory becoming fact. Seeing as it is on topic let's have a quick look at one of the Trump Russia collusion conspiracies that became established fact. How it started "So, claims like this one — “Hillary Clinton was behind the entire Russian collusion hoax all along” — made by Republican Rep. Doug Collins of Georgia, along with a call to “#LockHerUp,” are unfounded." https://www.factcheck.org/2020/10/partisan-claims-of-russia-hoax-revived-ahead-of-2020-election/ How it's going. "The Russia-Trump collusion narrative of 2016 and beyond was a dirty trick for the ages, and now we know it came from the top—candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. That was the testimony Friday by 2016 Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook in federal court, and while this news is hardly a surprise, it’s still bracing to find her fingerprints on the political weapon." https://www.wsj.com/articles/hillary-clinton-did-it-robby-mook-michael-sussmann-donald-trump-russia-collusion-alfa-bank-11653084709 The only surprise is that some on the left are still falsely claiming that the Durham investigation was a failure. I wonder how it feels seeing Trumps victory lap? "It's a great vindication and it feels good, and the report has been widely praised,' Trump told Newsmax in a phone interview on Tuesday night, his first televised interview since Durham issued his report on Monday. 'All of these people are -- I guess you could call it treason. You could call it a lot of different things. But this should never be allowed to happen in our country again,' added Trump." https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12091885/Donald-Trump-hails-John-Durham-report-slamming-FBI-Russian-collusion-probe.html -
Durham report finds FBI probe into Trump-Russia ties was flawed
SunnyinBangrak replied to Social Media's topic in World News
There was a time when inflammatory statements presented as fact without credible supporting evidence was a conspiracy theory. This bit is my favourite - "Note that Durham found nothing untoward in the agency, and even praised Brennan's handling of the matter." ???? -
Poor Rudy. Sad to see America's Mayor having such a public battle with alcoholism, and the mocking and abuse he cops from the usual quarter for it. Hope he can get clean and regain his former self, he was an absolute lion. I expect a huge raft of SA cases to swamp every GOP member now that proof and evidence are no longer required, nor even remembering when it happened.

No, it is not hogwash. The part of my post which you cut proves it with credible links. Gas prices DID reach $9 under Biden as he claimed. "Fact check "He wrongly claimed that U.S. gasoline prices reached $9 under Biden. The highest weekly average price under Biden was about $5 in June 2022." Actual reality "MENDOCINO, Calif. -- If you think gas prices are bad here in the Central Valley, be glad you're not filling up in the Northern California community of Mendocino. Schlafer's Auto Repair is selling regular gas for $9.60 for a gallon." https://abc30.com/california-gas-10-dollars-a-gallon-highest-prices-in-country-mendocino/11932601/ So technically he is correct, yes OK it's not a national average but he did not claim the national average was $9. I'd say Trump is clearly more on the factual side than the fact checker. And most of the fact checks are questionable for the same reason."

without specifying how many % of Americans are Muslim (it is approx 1%) see note 1, your linked statement comparing islamist extremism and right wing extremism is misleading. if 1% of Americans are causing 20% of extremist related killings then clearly this group have a much higher propensity to commit extremist violence. 1)https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_the_United_States#:~:text=Islam is the third largest,of the total U.S. population.

Now this is exactly what I'm talking about. They "fact check" Trump by using their own opinions and more often than not Trump is more correct than the fact checker. For example Fact check "He wrongly claimed that U.S. gasoline prices reached $9 under Biden. And most of the fact checks are questionable for the same reason.

Why do the left have to lie to make their point that Trump is a liar? It does not smack of an honest stance when they must resort to personal attack and lies IMO Watched the whole town hall yesterday, have to admit it was an impressive performance. A nice combo of humour, sharp witted jabs and truth bombs. 9.5/10 nice one Mr Trump!!

I am concerned the democrat's attempts to fool he public into thinking this guy was lynched by a racist because he was impersonating MJ very misleading. Way more than misleading in fact. Ms Pressley should have shown footage of the thug threatening the public, seems they just can't help being inflammatory.

Good luck Bill, I wanted to do the same as you on at least 2 occasions but was talked out of it. Please open new threads if you have experience with the legal system and let us know how you got on.

Trump appeals verdict finding him liable for sexual assault
SunnyinBangrak replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Is it not dangerous for a claim of SA without the claimant giving an exact date the event was alleged to have occurred on? More-so that it was decades ago. Seems to me that Trump was unable to give an alibi due to the lady not knowing what date the supposed attack took place on. Not exactly what I expect from the judicial system in a mature democracy but then it does seem the rule books were all thrown out when it comes to the persecution of Trump. This case should send shivers up supporters of the current President who's accuser now doesn't need a specific date so the accused can not prove he was not there. I doubt they thought of this. -
Bracing for impact: Biden world preps for Hunter Biden fallout
SunnyinBangrak replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Once the left can explain the payments they moved heaven and earth to dishonestly ( https://nypost.com/2023/05/09/cia-fast-tracked-letter-that-falsely-suggested-hunter-biden-laptop-was-russia-op?utm_source=nypost&utm_campaign=android_nyp )stop the public knowing about, then and only then can you say "Comer still has nothing". Don't you see the damage this denial of the obvious is doing to the CIA, FBI, Garland etc? Time to 'fess up -
Bracing for impact: Biden world preps for Hunter Biden fallout
SunnyinBangrak replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Yes, alot of evidence damaging to biden was "debunked" a few years ago starting with the laptop, the meetings, the transfers. Problem was the debunking was lies, and the evidence is real. That's why a proper investigation is underway at long last and multiple "conspiracy theories" have been proven fact. A few years ago you'd be banned from social media for factually correctly stating the laptop was genuine. Time to hear the truth about the bidens and get justice. You can't use 4 year old "facts" from leftist media while discussing the bidens. -
Note he didn't need a cheat sheet and pre-prepared questions(a practise which i am assured is fine and normal in modern democracies). I like it Trumps way, it shows a persons mental abilities and seems more authentic, to me anyway.
