The company that denied my claim this year.... was private health insurance provided by my employer. When my comatised carcass was moved from Bangkok Pattaya to Phayathai Sriracha (my SS registered hospital) the private health did cover the private ward room and rehab costs once I got out of ICU.

I rarely get ill on any grand scale but when I do I do it proper. Costs huge amounts and it aint something thats "cool thanks for the diagnosis doctor.... I'll go home and be treated for free by medicare" illness. If I didnt have private insurance and Thai social security... there would be a 15mill+ hole in my pocket.

Mixed bag mate... had a claim denied this year, different insurance company. Unfortunately was already in for 300k when they denied... that hurt but managed to get it discounted down to just shy of 200k cash.

Well.... they did make me sit in AE for 6 hrs before approving all costs so I guess it went to upper management for a decision but yeah at check out time... the bill to me was Bt.0.00. To be fair though it was work supplied insurance... and the HR manager was driving the claim, maybe that helped. To add on top of that, the meds the docs had me on totalled Bt.30,000 a month.... paid for by insurance. I no longer take those meds.

I have 18v Makita brushless gear (Drill/driver/impact). They have copped a lot of punishment but keep on trucking without complaint. Not cheap though, all 3 tools with 6 batteries and chargers cost me in excess of Bt50,000. I would never cheapNnasty cordless tool.... they will let you down.

Had a stroke years ago.. fronted Bangkok Pattaya hospital, was in there for weeks many of which in ICU. Bill was up around the 7 mill mark.... insurance did not blink an eye and approved immediately.

They went a bit hardcore on me when I went into cardia arrest.

mine was detected by chance. Whilst in hospital the drugs they were feeding me for Pneumonia (severe both lungs two different strains) were pretty hardcore they reckon and my large intestine called enough and perforated which result in emergency surgery for a cut, shut, bypass operation (healed now and colostomy bag removed 2 months ago)...... CT scan for intestine and lungs showed a 3cm kidney tumour... it is now 6cm and I have just started pissing blood.

Wonder if declaring bankruptcy clears the debt ?

I could live in my home country quiet content... BUT.... the place is over priced, over taxed, run by morons, and many of the populace have turned into new age woke F-wits. Yeah, not for me. I 100% respect Thai people and their country.. but if the police want to be lax with enforcement I will take advantage of it !!

Wonder what the upfront outlay is for a certified child seat ? I expect too much for many so will run the risk.... kids can easily be replaced though so no biggie if they die.

Pickup have tiedown points already, they are load rated far higher than the weight of a child 6yrs or under.

Before moving them in, find out how much they were paying for rent/food/electric/water/etc etc and add that into you calculation if you choose to sling her a monthly wedge. Met a nice lady... wanted to move in and me give her 15k a month lol. With rent/electric/water/food her monthly outgoings were 9k a month....Told her that as she would now be pocketing that outlay instead of spending it I would give her 6k a month making up her total of 15k. she told me to go fornicate with myself !!
