    I would drink a bottle of red a day at home, even at very low end 480 baht per bottle, That's 175,200 baht a year !!!!!!!!!!! for ok ish wine. you could easy double that and some for a nice bottle of wine per day. No thank you Thailand, you just take the piste.

    Very easy to OD on that stuff. Prince and Tom petty, did just that. If it had been legal, like all drugs should be. maybe, many people would still be alive today. ( Control on dosage).

    You are correct But the extension of stay is still in your old passport so maybe not a problem at all. Who knows, i just went and got the info transferred a few weeks after i got new passport.

    Well only used a home desk top Pc for years for banking, never had an issue, Thailand or intentional transactions. but do get pass codes via a mobile phone Funny how this thread is about a phone app compromised and money from bank missing. Cant recall reading about a home desk top pc compromised and money gone from bank story. Think i will stick with what works for me.

    I can see point 2 tripping some people up at an immigration office other than CW immigration office. For me, it is either wanted or is not wanted, no in-between. They love to just make there own rules up at regional offices. Good luck to all.

    Yes, letter and transfer stamps with passport obtained in Thailand. you can do this at your leisure. but must be done before next extension. let someone else deal with coming and going from Thailand.

    yes they do. As i did all this a few weeks back. it was given with the new passport when it was collected in BKK.

    What's the point in this embassy letter, is it just to prove the new passport is not a fake bought in Thailand ? i can see no other reason for it. anyone ?
