For those of us using the likes of mobdro or ilikehd to follow football, i thought I'd share a website that I found useful.

http://www.wheresthematch.com/live-football-on-tv/ shows what matches are on what channels. Useful for tournaments other than the Premiership, like the World Cup qualifiers this weekend.

I watch all sport, entertainment and news on Modbro. Free and streams great on my 3BB fiber connection. Beats all the rest (for me). Ryder cup streamed perfectly. Will be watching the premiership next week when it returns. (I don't have anything to do with them, just a happy user).

mtls..you speak of things that appear to be in an alien language (to me). Thanks anyway.

VLC does the trick but one annoying thing (in the Android version at least) is that you cannot resume playback from where you left off, should you have to stop the video. Not a biggy, at least all streams (so far) have had audio.

I use BS Player on my Android box as I play my files from a Windows PC over a LAN.

From time to time when I try and play an .mkv file there is no sound. It's getting pretty annoying.

Obviously the solution is to not download these file types but sometimes they're the only choice and sometmes I just don't notice until it's too late.

Can anyone recommend a media player for Android that works over a LAN? I've searched Google Play nut can't find a solution.

I quite like their program channels. For example streaming Seinfeld all day. I can dip into this channel every now and then for a boost.

Certainly lots of channels. I watched a couple of live premier league matches last weekend and they streamed really well. Only a few 1 or 2 second pauses.

This is what I turn to first when I need a bit of t.v. now. 

I expect that they will soon start charging when they get their premium service going, I hope they keep the cost down and competitive.

I just downloaded the latest update from Mobdro and it streams really well now. On my short test it's as good as anything out there.

Just saying...

ILikeHD replied to my email about buffering/freezing saying run the built in speed test and let their app choose your settings. That seemed to help.  A bit.

Watched the early match last night. Streamed almost perfectly. Tried to watch the Everton match and gave up half way through.

Man United stream is off to a dodgy start. Alternatives? Can any one comment on IVIEWHD for watching football?

I just checked out IViewHD but I couldn't see a list of channels. Also, it seems like you have to buy a box as well - is that correct?

My morning readings were quite high too. Then stayed fairly high most of the day. The doctor recommended taking my 30 units before I go to bed so that the morning reading was lower. He said that my diet kept my numbers fairly constant but that starting high in the morning meant that I was keeping that high number constant. Worked for me.

It's just a pity that ILikeHD can't join with one of the other streaming companies that have smooth streaming and provide their channel list. ILikeHD have all the channels I want but I've fallen out of love with their stability.

Is someone above saying the Thai ExpatTV will have the football? I don't have any sports channels on my package (Although they do have sky movies).

Try Metal to replace Facebook. It saves lots of memory and has messenger built in (as far as I can remember).
