  1. I was happy with ILikeHD but I asked the, how much to use on 3 devices in my house and they said I had to have 3 accounts! Almost THB2000 - I guess they think they're True.

    Time for an alternative...

  2. Hi

My 12yo is in a bit of a 'retro' frame of mind. She doesn't want to download music from torrents because the bands she likes won't get any money for that.

Anyway, she would like me to buy her some CD's for Christmas but I don't know where to buy her type of music.

The bands she likes include: Asking Alexandria (I'll get the concert tickets next week), Slipknot, Panic! at the disco, Sleeping with sirens, Pierce the veil, Halsey and Muse (this is the Christmas music list she gave to me).

Any ideas where I can buy some or all of those?

    Cheers

  3. Hi

On Saturday I'm doing a visa out/in to KL. This will be the first of my double entries.

The problem is that, on 30th October, I'm going to Phnom Penh to visit a mate for a couple of nights.

I'm not sure what the procedure is. Will immigration use the second of my double entries therefore I won't get the full six months?

Confused and hoping one of this forums experts can help.

    Cheers

  4. Hi, shot in the dark here...

Soon it will be my eldest daughters birthday.

She's going to be 14 and is really into music, currently The Arctic Monkeys!?

My youngest asks if there are any shops in Bangkok that sell band t-shirts as that's what she wants to buy her sister for her birthday. I have no idea.

In Dublin a few months ago I bought them both band tees from HMV (Marlyn Manson, Slipknot, Bowie...their taste in music is kind of out there for 12 and 14 year olds born in Bangkok).

Does anyone out there know of any shops in Bangkok that sell a similar range of band t-shirts?

    Cheers

    Mick

p.s. yes, I left it too late for ordering over the net. My youngest only asked today and the birthday is next Friday

  5. Hi

For many years Chrome has been my browser of choice.

Recently it has been allowing many pop up and under pages. I can't believe how bad it is.

I do have the usual ad blockers in place but page like 'update your java' and many other useless pages are popping up when you click anywhere in Chrome,

I've tried adding the common offending URLs to create my own filters but it keeps happening.

I've told my kids not to click on any pages that open on their own but I'm afraid that some appealing page might lead to a virus getting installed on my PC's.

Has anyone experienced this? Did you find a solution?

    Cheers

    Mick
