    I don't think it really matters what Musk does to twitter anymore. He said it was nearly bankrupt and now he's trying anything to get a dead cat to bounce. I suspect the calculus behind this move is to purge the <deleted> image that twitter had among conservatives, the exact process which has caused the demise of twitter in the first place.

    The basic software probably isn't. Technical issues like streaming at scale are complex. Balancing a huge number of servers and staying up can be a challenge.

    Will you also concede that the warming is 100% caused by burning fossil fuels. You or others can say trees all you want but if no fossil fuel was being burnt we wouldn't be in this predicament at the current state of deforestation. I'm not denying that land clearing is a major problem but it isn't the root cause. edit: well, apart from cow farts.

    This was nothing to do with the government. It was the lack of a comprehensive social welfare program. Thailand is still a developing country.

    My girlfriend's father went guarantee for a loan on a pickup. The guy committed suicide and wrecked the vehicle in the process leaving him with 200k in debt. The family have pressured her for years over the debt apparently. Loose credit policies are to blame.
